Review Daybreak - Newmarket

Very busy today as it was Family Day and there was only 1 waitress, Lisa, working. She did a great job managing all the tables and everyone was very patient. To me, the food was standard; nothing wow, but nothing bad either. My husband really enjoyed his English omelet while I had 3 eggs with bacon. I am concerned with ventilation as I could smell something burnt when I walked in and throughout eating. Their stove is in front of the seating area and their toaster was constantly on/heating. I could hear their fan on though.

I hadn’t been here before because I rarely have an opportunity to go out for breakfast but this morning I had a craving for a bacon and egg sandwich so decided to give them a try. I called and ordered a bacon egg and cheese sandwich. I didn’t ask the price, I figured it would be 8 or 9 bucks. When I showed up to pick it up I was shocked when the gave the price of almost 14 dollars. I blamed myself for not asking first, paid my bill (even left a tip) took my sandwich and headed out. 5 mins later I open the sandwich to find…egg, cheese, and mystery meat. Definitely not bacon. I figured I had paid for it so I might as well try it. I tried to take a bite but it all fell apart with some of my mystery meat ending up on the floor of my car. The meat turned out to be a gristly piece of steak. Not meant for a sandwich regardless. Lots of issues here today and maybe other people like it, but I won’t be going back

First time here and had the best waitress (Marilyn)! Coffee was always topped up and the service was speedy! Will definitely come back when passing through. 10/10

Always a great choice. The staff at this particular one are simply exceptional. Friendly, fast and make you feel at home right away. Great experience.

Pretty good little breakfast spot. The ladies that work here are incredibly nice and very quick as well. The food is good with pretty large portions.

First time at this location and like so much better than the one at Yonge and Mulock. Quick service..very efficient...will be definitely coming back.

Had breakfast with mom today. The waitress Josie was great and multitasking to say the least. First time showing proof of vaccination and ID to eat in at a restaurant. Food was hot and served fast. Rest little place, especially if you get the early bird breakfast!

I am just not one to get sick... But oh my goodness, I was sick all day because of the food! Food didn't taste so good, so I kind of knew what I was getting into, but wow I was in and out of the bathroom all day and night after I ate here. Now, the service was 50/50... Had a great waitress, but the person who actually brought us our food was less than friendly. Kind of just... Shoved our plates onto our table in an annoyed fashion without many words. I really appreciated our waitress but everything else was subpar so I can't rate this place very nicely I'm sorry! It is what it is!
