Very enjoyable experience. My wife and I are relatively new residence of Newmarket, 2 years as of September and this was our first visit to Villa Risi. We will be making this a regular place to celebrate, birthdays anniversaries etc and when we feel like treating ourselves.
The staff were very attentive and friendly. Our meals were excellent in taste and presentation.
Looking forward to our next visit.

I had such an amazing birthday celebration here, seriously the best Italian restaurant I've ever been to. Lovely server, atmosphere and live music too. Thank you for such an amazing experience 💓 They sang happy birthday in such a fun way with amazing tiramisu as well! Highly recommended for any special night out and the amazing pasta. If you are thinking you are craving Italian food or starving while you are at work and thought Italian sounds amazing! Please do your stomach and wallet a favor DO NOT spend your money there. $40 + for feeling sick now! I should of grabbed a plain bagel next door my body would be much happier!

I hosted my soon to be daughter in law bridal shower today and if anyone needs a place to host a celebration I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND Villa Risi, the food, the service, and the atmosphere was AMAZING!!!! It was a day I will cherish forever. Thank you Peter and staff for making this an amazing day!!!

The owner was disrespectful. my husband and I were standing at the front desk and there was nobody for greeting ,how ever the waiters We’re walking back and forth for serving and they could see we were waiting , then the owner came and saw us but didn’t say any thing and answered the phone and kept us waiting for 10 minutes then hanged up the phone amd without apologizing or greeting said you had reservation come after me to show your table .
My steak was so tiny with three shrimps covered with very thick sauce which made me throw up when I got home .
It was first and last time for us to go there.
Never have had that experiences in any restaurants.

The food was terrible, everything is old and run down. The floors and chairs were filthy dirty. This was my first visit and last and I really hate to say that with everything the restaurant industry has been though these past 2 years, but really and truly the place needs some TLC.

Awesome place, fantastic prices and the portion sizes are really generous as well. People of Newmarket, come here. Forget pizza pizza or East side Mario’s, this is real good!
