One of my favorite deli sandwich chains.
We had the #20 and #14 today.
The corned beef sandwiches are probably my favorite items here and that being the #20. The mack sauce and hickory sticks match together really well. There's also substabtial amount of the corned beef on this sandwich. Don't need to get a large sandwich as the small will fill you up enough as is.
Keep in mind, not the cheapest sandwiches but, they taste amazing!

Pretty good sandwich place! Really tasty and quite large. Even though they’re shorter, they’re packed pretty full. I got the #10 and it was great. Only thing is the prices are pretty high for what you get, although I feel like the #10 was priced pretty fairly.

By far my favourite sandwich place in the area. Preparation is great, ingredients are always fresh. They just know how to make an amazing sandwich. Unfortunately, there are near constant issues with orders. Missed or incorrect items almost every time. Also, there is currently a problem with their ubereats menu where it isn't possible to order a regular size sandwich. You have to select large, which costs a lot more. I would give this 5 stars EASILY without these problems, but it's literally almost every time that something about my order is wrong. :(

Nothing special about the sandwich.
Ordered a large #4 Roast Beef Sandwich. The taste and the bread was just OK. It’s nothing to write home about. A little expensive ($15 expensive) for a par sandwich.
Would I come back again? NO.

I got the vegetarian option number 26, and even though I’m appreciative that the shop offers variety in meat alternatives to vegetarians - i would like to see more flavour in the sandwiches. The ciabatta should be toasted and if the sandwich is supposed to have guacamole, I should be able to see it.
The service could be more helpful and warm.
The interior is nice with space for about 20. Metered parking out front on the street.
Another suggestion would be if the restaurant stocked up on the options of meat alternatives they mention in their menu instead of just having one at a time.

Went to big star for the first time yesterday. I got the large #14. It was a pretty good sandwich but it was small and no where near worth $16.80 for just the sandwich, no extras.

I ordered a large #4 today. It was $15 something after tax, and it was supposed to.come with roasted beef. Then when I get home and start having it I found out they used roasted air replaced the roasted beef.
