Review Sixth Street Grill - New Westminster

Adrian Torino
Great breakfast experience. We had the big breakfast (with corned beef hash and a waffle) and the crabcake benny. Really liked how they did their hash. It was like shaved and nicely fried. Their sausage was also the ones I liked better than the regular breakfast sausages. Waffle was a nice and light texture but, still have a crunch. Crabcakes for the benny was nice and crispy too. Dishes were well done.

Finally got to try this place for brunch after moving to New West. We were able to get a table immediately at 12:15 on Sunday. Not lots of coffee options, but they have regular coffee, juices, milkshakes, tea in drinks menu. Lots of items to pick from for food. The hash browns could have been more better. Enjoyed the sourdough toast and 2 egg omelette. My partner got the sixth street grill burger and enjoyed it. Lots of paid parking spots right outside the place.

Saturday brunch time I came with my friend. We both wanted to try the food at this place. And it was crowded had to wait for 15 mins to be seated. But loved their food. We order mushroom and cheddar cheese omlette and my friend ordered mushroom and cheddar Bennie. They come with hash brown and omlette comes with toast. The food was so delicious. Would want to come back to try their waffle. Would recommend this place.

A homey cozy place for all sorts of good eats! I come here for brunch and you can't make a bad choice here at all. Generous portions served hot and delish!

Went for dinner and it was wonderful. Very comforting down home cooking. My partner had the small lasagna with a large piece of garlic bread. I had the hot turkey sandwich with vegetables. Both dishes were awesome. While they were super busy our server and the others made the visit great. Our food and drinks came out in a timely manner and we didn't have much of wait. Will definitely be back soon!

Homestyle cooking. Air conditioner was working so it was a pleasurable atmosphere when outside temperatures reached over 30 Celsius

Friendly, simple, cozy and comfy. Good food. Good price. Good people. Old school feel that embraces you thru the door until you leave.

Beautiful hearty tasty breakfast. Pancakes were delicious! Very nice service.

Had a really gross hollandaise sauce here. Ruined my meal, and my stomach for the rest of the day.... I think they tried to pull a fast one and used doctored up mayo. Just gross.

I came here for breakfast the other day. I was surprised by how good the corned beef hash was considering they didn't even know it was on the menu. That being said, the service wasn't the greatest, but it was absolutely entertaining. I had a good time. Also, don't be mislead by how my photo of the corned beef hash looks like plastic.

• pay parking along the street starts 0800, otherwise park 2 blocks away to get a free parking spot
• one server for the whole restaurant at 815 am, terrible! service is not the best, order everything at once even a pitcher of water because you won't see your server for a while until she delivers your food
• the server was busy pouring water on an empty table, awaiting incoming customers while my friend waited more than 8 minutes to get her orders taken (it wasn't even busy at that time)
• Food is good, I had the crabcake, avocado eggs Benedict with hollandaise sauce very rich and creamy) + potatoes that weren't soft enough ( calories ??? This costs $15 including tax & 10% gratuity
Good diner food. Had hot turkey sandwich, it came with soup or salad. Big portions, I couldn't finish but it was very tasty. Prices are good.

A disappointing breakfast.. A late (for us) breakfast stop, after coming out from a recent early-am medical appointment in the area, and finding most restaurants still not open for lunch.

The just 'ok': their meatloaf 'special-of-the-day'. It came with soup - clam chowder was chosen over chicken noodle. The entree plate: consisted of two, small, circular, rather thick pieces of the 'meatloaf', gravy, a scoop of mashed (our choice) potato, and two veggies (fresh broccoli and carrots). The soup - warm, quite tasty, though mostly potato pieces, two little clams were found! The meatloaf - its looks, taste, and texture were more like just hamburger patties, but it was fairly flavourful - the gravy blah. The veggies - the potato was cold and bland, the other veggies perfectly fine, and cooked al dente.

The not 'ok': their 3-egg 'house' (ham, mushroom, and cheddar cheese) omelette, which came with some pan-fried potatoes, and sourdough (our choice) bread toast. The omelette - was large, but terribly overcooked, dry, and tasteless. The potatoes - would have gained much in looks, texture, and taste, by more time in the pan!! they were not cooked and browned enough. The toast - yea, like my toast "toasted", and it was.

Overall - a not very exciting breakfast experience for us. Heh, no complaints with the service as provided -- it was the food preparations that left a little too much to be desired for us to consider a return visit.

Great Value! Good Food.. Had breakfast here today and the service was great and the food was too. There were 4 of us and 3 had coffee and all had meals the bill was only $37. Great Value!!! Will visit again soon.

No Customer Appreciation Here..... Dec. 9/14

I was looking forward to a "Fresh Spinach Salad" with boiled egg & bacon & I asked for mushrooms..
I was beginning to enjoy it until I discovered some wet & unattractive leaves of spinach. Normally I don't complain bare with me & the ending will reveal why?
Then as I continued to eat it I had to stop & pick out the wet & non-fresh leaves of Spinach.
I waited for the waitress who rarely came by our table & then when she finally arrived I told her about the salad & she said that she would inform them. She didn't offer to get me a Fresh one therefore I did not continue to eat the spinach after that. And the mustard salad dressing that they mention was like dipping sauce for chicken nuggets.
The bill came & there was no reduction... there was an extra charge for mushrooms that I wasn't told about.
When I asked the man behind the counter if he was informed of what happened, he said he told the kitchen. Yet there was No apology, in fact he said that he didn't like my attitude.... Hmmm... My attitude was that of a dissatisfied customer looking for a little satisfaction... In fact he told me that I need not come back... & that is why I am writing this review, I felt like he was going to personally throw me out of his restaurant. I was clear, concise & polite! & I left shaken up & dissatisfied. Sincerely Kristeen

Good Food and Atmosphere. Great Prices, Food and Atmosphere.

Seems to be a connection to the old slocan crew.. That's a good thing. This place has the greasy spoon fare but without the greasy spoon vibe. While I was sad to see the new west fish house gone the sixth street grill has got it going on. It can get busy hectic even but the food comes and it's good. This has the best liver and onions I've had in a long time. Nice portions nice mashed potatoes gravy. Everything you'd expect from a old school lower mainland cafe. They also surprised with thier kalamari which was some of the nicest anywhere, fresh nicely battered done just right, breakfast comes in cheap and good . Eggs done how you want them and coffee on the table when you need it to be, great place overall always into popping in when I'm in the area.
NEW WEST DINER
A CONTENDER. Good spot.....Huge portions...had the meatloaf and could not finish it all...clam chowder to start was pretty good....half the meal was take home...leaving room for dessert which for me was the pudding....
the service was a little over the top.......ownership must of read the negative reviews about previous service and made some changes

parking is free next door after 4:30 ....and all day on Sundays...

My brother had told me about this awesome Grill place that he had been to and how much he enjoyed it, and I love hamburgers so I decided to check it out for myself. The place was fantastic! And the menu was so comical, it was definitely a good conversation starter. And on top of it all the food was amazing!!! I walked out of The Sixth Street Grill with a full belly, smile on my face, and money left in my pocket. Best burger joint in the New Westminster ...HANDS DOWN!

This place is amazing! I eat here often and I love the food, all homemade! The staff are always pleasant, I will admit that sometimes the service is a little slow, but nothing to be concerned about. The prices are extremely reasonable... $3.95 for basic breakfast! Can't go wrong. Don't believe the negative reviews, some people are too sensitive. This is not a five star restaurant and they don't pretend to be. This is a neighbourhood diner, mom and paap type of place, enjoy it for what it is!

Go for the Reuben. We tried The Sixth Street Grill shortly after they opened this year. There was something quite familiar about it. I have been back a couple of more times and have come to learn the owners of the Sixth Street Grill used to own The Slocan on Hastings....No wonder I liked it so much and they still serve jello!. I recommend the Reuben and the Pulled Pork Sandwich isn't bad....ask them to add coleslaw.
Good prices. Nice staff. Great food.

Bad servie, so-so food and charged "round up" for a NON-cash transaction!. Wanted to try the Grill because we live just a block away and wanted another restaurant we could go to regularly. Sadly, we won't be going back.

When we walked in there was no one to greet us and no sign saying we should seat ourselves. We waited for a minute and finally a man came up and said only, "Where do you want to sit?" No "Hi" or "Welcome." After we choose our booth, he simply walked away without saying another word to us.

We waited for a couple of minutes before a woman brought us some menus and took our drink order. Then, another woman came later to take our order. She seemed disinterested at best.

The food was quick to arrive, but sadly it was a little too quick as we both had sandwiches with fries and both had fries that were undercooked and still tasted of raw potato. The sour dough bread for the grilled cheese had way too much butter (and that's an unheard of comment from the person who was eating it!)

After our food arrived, we were left alone. It wasn't busy. Half of the tables were empty and we could clearly see the woman who had taken the order as well as the man who had sat us standing around. I ran out of iced tea half way through my meal but couldn't get anyone's attention. I even put the empty glass on the edge of the table so they could see it. It wasn't until I had finished my entire meal (and finished off my glass of water) that the woman who had given us the menus finally came to ask if I wanted some more tea. "Not any more." I said.

When our bill arrived, I noticed 2 problems. First they had charged us for an iced tea and a pop, which costs 50 cents more, but we had both ordered ice tea. I pointed this out and the bill was corrected. I then also noticed that at the bottom of the bill it listed the total AFTER the "round up" was added. I pointed this out and said that since I was paying with debit I should not be charged the round up as that's only for cash transactions. She assured me I would be charged "only the amount you owe." However, when she passed me the debit machine she had in fact charged me the round up for my non-cash transaction. I paid the extra 2 cents so that we could finally get out of there, but reduced her tip even further.

Word to the wise: If you try The 6th Street Grill be sure to double check your bill for incorrect charges and demand that you not be charged the "round up" if you're not paying cash, as only cash transactions are allowed to be charged that by law!

Uptown's best diner by far!. I've become a regular at the Grill and my friends and I all love this place. They take pride in what they do and they do it right.
Recent posts here have suggested that the place is 'second class'. I find this laughable as the Grills popularity has exploded over the last few months. The bad reviews say things about the Grill that are totally untrue.
It's not fine dining, but it's definitely not processed and most certainly not the worst place on earth.
The food is always fresh, the service is always friendly, and the only reason you will have to wait a little longer for your food is because they have become so popular that they're packing the restaurant. Enough said.
Great food, more than reasonable prices, excellent service, what more could you ask for?
So many people leave her very happy, don't let the negative reviews on here influence you. (Competition come in many different forms, even on line.)

The best place for homemade food and fantastic prices!. I heart the sixth street grill! What a great place - I just recently found this place through family & friends word of mouth. What a lucky find, I commute three hours a day from New West and back, and this has become mine, and my daughters favourite place to wait out the bridge traffic and have dinner. The food is amazing, you can always tell homemade from out of a box or prepack. Contrary to what I have read here, the service is always great, and the prices are way less than you would pay for even half the food quality elsewhere. I am nothing short of shocked at some of the negative reviews I have read here. I am not much of a reviewer but I wanted to take the time to review this place. Awrsome quality, homemade, and fantastic prices - too those who complain I say you should head for the golden arches : )

A happy customer : )

Terribly slow, food good. Went for what should have been a quick breakfast - would have been in and out across and up the street in 15 minutes or other places.

Took 15 minutes to get an order placed (not a good sign), and was at the point of walking out 30 minutes later. I was facing the back, so saw other food siting for 2 minutes in the pass. Was told there was only one person cooking (but two helpers doing prep that I saw). Seems that being slow is their problem. Place was NOT busy, maybe 6 other tables - about 20% full. People who came in 30 minutes after us were served at the same time we were. Guess they only serve regulars with speed.

Nothing other than "we got slammed" lip service from the 'could give a damn server'. My guess is they ran out of par cooked potatoes and just didn't give a damn.

First and last time I will ever go. Food was good, price was good, service and speed completely lacking.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!. Was looking around one evening for something new, have driven by this restaurant numerous times and finally decided to give it a try and am very glad I did. Two words describe this place....COMFORT FOOD!!

The staff is very friendly and courteous. The owner (whom I have recently found out used to own a popular restaurant on Hastings) is hands on and always makes his rounds to make sure everything is good. The food (I have been in 6 or 7 times since finding this place) is always excellent! This place is now my go to place for a good meal. The roasted 1/2 chicken is to die for!! The meat loaf, the spag, the crab cake eggs benny with avocado is great. Most come with a lovely soft fresh chewy bun and rice pudding all for a very reasonable price.

I was here on the September holiday Monday and the service was slow because they were short staffed in the kitchen and about 12 tables showed within five minutes of each other. But we relaxed on the cozy patio, sipped a couple cups of tea, people watched and then had an AWESOME breakfast that was well worth the inconvenience of a little wait! I know I will be going here a minimum of several times a week!

Loved the sounds of people enjoying themselves, the clattering of dishes.......really reminded of a good New York diner. Can't say enough!!

Two thumbs up! Great food.... Two thumbs up!

Great food, good service, nice restaurant. Just what we needed in the neighborhood.
Amazing 6th street burger!
Delish!

Must say this is my new favorite restaurant in New West! I've come for breakfast, lunch & dinner & have had an awesome meal each time. The portions are fabulous & the price even better! The servers are very personable & attentive which makes for a great friendly & family oriented experience! The owner Perry even came to our table on more than one occasion to make sure we were happy with everything & I truly liked the idea that he wanted to know our names for future visits. I have to say also that New West needed a great reasonably priced yet fresh food restaurant! I know they will be around for a long time & I highly recommend The Sixth Street Grill to all!

Sunday Brunch. I really like this place.

Firstly, a quick note regarding some of this restaurants unkinder reviews...

I went for brunch with my significant other today and the service was good. The restaurant was packed so it took a little while longer than normal to get our food. I was surprised at some of the other patrons giving the wait staff such a hard time. I think our server was almost in tears at one point.

They did their best under the circumstances, and the owner himself even went into the kitchen to help the cooks get the food out as quick as possible.
No need to bully, they're doing the best they can. When you attack places like this, you're hurting real people, not a corporation.

On to the food...

I had the street hash, my partner had eggs bennie. Yes it took a little longer, but it was worth the wait. It was fantastic!
There's a fast food restaurant up the street for those who want it "now" (Erica & Mr. Foodie), but you wont get food like this.
Seems like everyone has become a critic these days hiding behind the anonymity of the internet...

I love this place, totally independent small business, great ambiance, great food, and friendly staff. I will definitely be back, and I'll recommend it to all of my friend.
Erica
I wish we could tell you what the food tastes like, but we left after waiting an hour and a half. Yes, it was Sunday brunch, but when people that came in a half hour after us started getting served their food, we left. Right before we left, they brought us the wrong meal! WTF? It was such a disappointment. We were excited about a new place...we even had no kids for the day. What a waste of half our morning. They only came over once to say sorry for the wait. Then when we got up to leave they were all apologetic. Too late! No stars for them!
P.S. Frank S, before you respond to a review, you should probably read it! First, this is not an attack! It is a review...just happens to be a poor one. Second, I know what fast food is and do not expect it at a sit down restaurant. I expect food at a sit down restaurant to come within 30-45 minutes...60 minutes at most on a super busy day. We waited 90 minutes (and still no food)!! This restaurant has been open 6 months. They should be able to handle a lunch rush. Third, we most definitely DID NOT give the staff a hard time. We were very patient for the first hour and 15 minutes...trying to be understanding. We never said anything, nor did we give bad looks or anything else you are accusing us of. Even when my tea took 20 minutes (the man who took our order forgot about it), we didn't say anything buy thank you. We even tried to pay for our coffee and tea when we left after 90 minutes and still no food up on the pass. Last, I did not hide behind anonymity...I had my full name on my review (though after your review named me directly - talk about attacking - I have taken down my last name). We let the restaurant know why we were leaving, and were very polite about it.
Foodie
Very slow bad service. We waited an hour and fifteen minutes for our breakfast to arrive. Granted, it was busy. However, all the tables that had arrived after us had gotten their food, eaten it, and left before we got ours. Obviously, the waitress forgot to put in our order, but refused to admit it. Once the food arrived, the orders were wrong and the eggs on the eggs benedict were very under-cooked to the point where the egg whites were running down the side of the plate. It's ok to have runny yolks, but it is not ok to have runny egg whites. We will not be returning to this restaurant again.

Good food but very long wait. After reading the reviews on urbanspoon decided to try Sixth Street Grill this morning for brunch. It was busy but there were empty tables. It took a while for us to get cutlery and water and about 15 mins before the server took our order. The server did explain that things were taking a little bit longer out of the kitchen and I asked how much longer. She said about 5 to 10 mins. Lunch was finally served after about an hour.

On the plus side, my companion enjoyed his Sixth Street Hash although he said it was a bit salty and didn't know if it was the pastrami or the hollandaise. My Greek Omelette was pretty good but a bit light on feta - my toast was burned in places.

We'll try the restaurant again but probably not for breakfast/brunch.
Mdavis
Quite enjoyable. I like the friendly atmosphere and good food. All their Greek dishes, especially the Calamari, are excellent. I don't eat liver, but I'm told they do it well. Their 6th Street burger is very nice, and so is the clam chowder.

However, their roast chicken is way too dry.
McB
Amazing. I have been to sixth street grill twice so far. Both times I was blown away with the food and the service. I cannot wait to go back!
Kristen Greenwood
If you like waiting an hour for less than mediocre food, then this is the place for you
Matt
No drunk waitresses? Damn.... We went to this establishment based on an earlier review that said the waitresses were drunk and inattentive, and we were sorely disappointed.

The waitresses were not only friendly and attentive (and not drunk), the food was fantastic, the place was clean, and the owner even came by to have a little chat with us and make sure we were enjoying ourselves. We told him about the drunk waitresses and that we were frustrated that we'd been mislead. It is what it is I guess.

We'll just have to go for the amazing food, friendly service and smiles, and we'll be keeping our eye out for that elusive drunk waitress. ;)

Look!. I heard a lot of GREAT things about this restaurant and I had to check it out myself.

They have All Day Breakfast – my favorite is “Crab Cake Avocado Benny”, satisfying burgers under $ 9.00 bucks, yummy wraps, hand-cut-fries, home made soups and incredibly friendly staff.......ohhh and not to mention the dinner decor is eye appealing and admirable.

Consider your search over........THE Sixth Street Grill IS the right place to eat with an affordable price that no one can beat!

Do I need to say more?
Angela
The service sucks!!!! The food and waitresses are great but during their busiest times, they have ONE staff member working. I will never again go there and it's too bad because like I said, food is great but it's too frustrating having to wait about 45-1 hr to get your food.
Absynth
This place is the bomb! F.... This place is the bomb!

Food like my mother used to make. I felt like I was home when I are there. Delicious comfort food and all day breakfast at a price that everyone can afford. I had a Caesar made to perfection with pickled asperigus and Absolute Vodka for 1/2 of what you'd pay downtown, followed by a couple of pints of OK Spring's 1516 for less than 4 bucks! Are you kidding me? It won't be long before this place is packed!

I'll be back, next time with 20 of my closest friends.

Thank you 6th Street Grilll!

P.S. my burger? They put Vira's to shame!

Delicious!

As many stars as in the sky! Love this place :)
Great portion size, quality food and great service.
We will be back for Ur egg bennies!

The Sixth Street Grill is my new favourite restaurant!! Food is great, service is great and the prices are affordable. I scanned the reviews on this site and am pleased to see the majority are positive. Those of you who troll and make up things to give this place a bad review need to give your heads a shake. It's a new place an naturally there will be growing pains - but posting pure lies is not acceptable. We have a diverse set of restaurants in uptown and this place fits right in. It's great to see ANOTHER successful small business in New West - I don't have to leave my neighbourhood. We in New West have to keep our support local and make sure all these businesses stay vibrant and OPEN!
Perry Perry
Thank You!. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of you for the high praise on Urban Spoon. We have been open for only a few months and we are striving to provide our best for this tight knit community of Uptown New Westminster.
The positive response has been overwhelming!
We will continue to provide our best service, and good food & drinks at a price that everyone can reach.

Thank you again!

Sincerely,

Perry
The Sixth Street Grill
www.thesixthstreetgrill.com

This place should have no stars at all!!!!!!!!!!
We were not greeted at the door, we walked by four dirty tables and sat ourselves while the waitress, and owner all stood huddled at the bar.
An old gentleman brought us waters, asked if we were ready to order, then didn't take our order.
5 minutes later a "server" came over and said that she "was new and was retarded"!!!
Didn't think much if it, as she continued to take our appy order, I started to smell booze, she was beyond wasted, and we had children with us.
She came back a minute later and asked again if we wanted appys????
I then just asked for her manager, I informed this obviously clueless owner that his waitstaff was extremely intoxicated, can barely speak and wreaks of alcohol.
All he had to say was, "wow, this is really bad".
We started to leave and he brought us a 10% off coupon.
I wouldn't recommend my worst enemy to step foot in that place.
On your way to the washroom, which surprisingly was cleaner than the restaurant , take a look at the kitchen while your walking by, you'll change your mind about subjecting yourself to the "food".
Appalling!!!
Jason
Went there for Sunday breakfast, unfourtunatly it was mothers day and the place was understaffed. After were served things started to get better for me. The interior looks like a hyberd between a diner and a pub, it results in a comfortable modern look. The gorage door at the front of the placve helps with the lighting. Food waz 8/10. Ill be back... Hopefully when it's not soooooo busy.

Good food, good service. We decided to give this place a try as its in my neighbourhood and the reviews were good. Well, it did not disappoint us. We ordered the crab cakes egg Benedict and the traditional bacon and eggs with hot cakes. The crabcakes were delicious. Hash browns are real, not the ones that come out a frozen package.. We were impressed. Service was excellent. They were attentive and very pleasant. It's a great local place to grab a bite. Love that they service breakfast all day! I would go there for a meal anytime, to help support locally owned restaurants in my neighbourhood than those fast food chains like white spots, pantry or Ihop.

Good English food!. I heard alot of great things about this resturant, so i couldnt stop mysef from coming here ;)

my friend and i orderd steak plate and kidney & onion. they come with good (bit salty) soup of choice (i chose clam chawder) and pudding/jello.
the soup came really fast with cracker and i liked it.
the main came with baked (mashed) potatoes, fresh veggies and the main steak. the plate looks pretty with colorful side veggies, the meat (steak) had nice grilled flavor which i liked. it was a bit hard (chewy) tho.

i actualy liked my friend's kidney&onion plate better. it had more flavors to it, and the onions were drenched in yummy sauce!!

i didn't think English food can be this good! i was nice and full after the meal. felt good.

March 22 Reviewer. The Sixth Street Grill is an amazing addition to New West - the food is real, fresh & delicious.!! The staff are kind and obliging. The March 22 reviewer who complained about this establishment was advised upon being seated in a packed restaurant that they were obviously extremely busy that evening. How sad that this was not understood. I do hope she and her party enjoyed their meal in another restaurant where their appreciation for fast (fake) food could be consumed in a matter of minutes - these establishments sadly abound in New West....
Elizabeth
Wow! What a great little diner!! Was recently there with my family and it is so refreshing to be in a family friendly environment that serves great food ( try the crab cake eggs Bennie... Out of this world!) at such reasonable prices. I wish more places were so accommodating. Friendly staff, relaxed vibe. Good for you Sixth Street Grill, we will definitely be regulars!!
Darren
I had dinner there last night. What a great new place in uptown New West!
The staff is friendly the food is excellent the decor is very tasteful. They seem to be doing really well the place is getting busier. I'll be back to try everything on their menu. Great prices great food, friendly staff, the owner ever came to our table to introduce himself. Thumbs up, keep up the good work!
Christine Tokevich
Where's my food!. I've been to this restaurant twice now. The first time I felt like a spectator at a family reunion who had the misfortune of being placed at the kiddy table. In fact I believe the owners whole family was in for Sunday dinner. His wife, all there rug-rat, his sister in law, her rug-rats, and so forth.

At one point his mother got up from her meal to bring us part of our order. Its clearly a very small Mom and Pop operation, their one poor waitress is clearly frazzled from running around looking after 12+ tables all by herself.

The 2nd time I went with a small group of friends, we arrived at 7:00 and placed our orders plus, and appetizer. By 8:05, no appetizer, no food, and decided to leave. This restaurant has poor service, poor food, and not worth your money.

Had the Crab Cakes with avocado bennie - good hollandaise and crispy crab cakes. These aren't "fine dining" crab cakes but they hit the spot. the pan fried potatoes are wonderful as well. Great addition to New West! Good pricing (under $15 for an orange juice and 2 bennies+potatoes) and friendly service. I will be back!
BionicSam
Great service and clean bathroom. Had hi ratings and newly opened so I wanted to check it out. Had the Sixth Street Hash. Hollandaise was thin and runny. There's a red sauce underneath that's sautéed with the meat (pastrami) and onions. Maybe it's the hollandaise or maybe it's the red sauce or maybe it's the combination of both sauces mixed together that gives the plate an overall tangy slightly like mayonnaise taste. I'd order the hollandaise on the side. My husband enjoyed his French toast platter - I'd say they are great at the basic breakfasts but I'm not sure about the other stuff like the Bennies - I didn't like the hollandaise.
Tracy
What a great restaurant. The food is sooo fresh and all made in house, no frozen food here!!!
Comfort food at it's finest.
The staff is friendly and the service is great.
Matt Nicholson
Gotta agree with the rest. After reading some reviews here and on other sites my girlfriend and I thought we had better try it. We were glad we did. Real friendly staff, refilled my pop as soon as it was getting low and came back to do a quality check after we had a few bites. I had the philly cheese steak sandwich and she had the club house, both with fries. Fries were great, not greasy or over salted. Both of our sandwiches were good. No cheaping out on any of the contents. No rubbery beef or turkey and they make their own turkey for the club house and don't use cheap processed crap. We will be back over and over if it keeps up the way it is going right now!
