Review Chrismaria Family Restaurant - New Minas

What a gem!! Food was amazing and hot. Flavors were on point. Nice, clean and cute little local place. Staff are super friendly and attentive. They have an amazing menu with many options. For anyone who enjoys spice and flavor, this is the place. Happy this place is in the valley. My favorite spot thus far.

The best!! The service, the dining and, the customer service. I really really like'em, We were coming from halls harbour and we stopped there for indian food, had all these things and the mango lassi, everythingwas so freah and tradional, even the lassi has dry fruits in it, On freaking point. Wish they could also be around the city! Whenever I'm gonna go to cape split, definitely I'm gonna plan to have food afterwards here, That's how good it was!

This is probably the best Indian restaurant in Nova Scotia so far (I tried most of them). I loved the Shrimp Chilies and Dosa. Delicious

We were a group of 10. With all types of dietary preferences. The menu is so well organized and color coded ~ it made our selection stress free. From vegetarian, to Keto... even Pasta alfredo. Pakoras, *chicken biryani*, palak paneer, the chicken wings (you must have the chicken wings) most restaraunts just cook a chicken wing and then get the flavour by dipping it in sauce... but these lovely suculant wings have the spice flavor deep into the meat! The servers were very accommodating, informative and friendly! The restaraunt atmosphere is relaxing and causal. Wish we had taken more photos of the food. Thank you Chrismaria!

I can’t believe we hadn’t heard of this restaurant before. We will definitely be coming back as the food was SO good! We love Indian food and my fiancée took one bite of my butter chicken and his eyes got wide and he said “that is the best butter chicken I’ve ever had”. The waitress we had was very nice, the service was fast, and we just can’t get over the food. The only thing I wish we could have changed was the onion ring/french fry requirement with the combos. We would have rather been able to sub those with either rice or another parotta but she said they weren’t able to do that. Which I totally understand it might not work with their ordering system. Just seems odd to go with butter chicken. But, that’s the only criticism I have and it’s not even a criticism - just a preference. Will be back!

The varied flavours of their food was fantastic. Loved the blending of spices especially in the lamb vindaloo, and chef's special shrimp. Some of the best Indian food I've had... and I grew up outside of Vancouver, BC. Will be going again when I'm through New Minas.

The best Indian food we’ve had in Nova Scotia! Every time we visit family in the Valley, we stop in to enjoy the delicious curries and, most recently, their dosas. The dosas are amazing!!!! So many vegan options and you can customize your spice level. Be sure to order extra so you can take some home with you!!! The service is super friendly, too! Great find in New Minas and definitely worth the drive in from HRM.

I had arranged catering service for 150 people from Chrismaria family restaurant. Food and staff arrived on time to set it up. Staff are professional and friendly. The food was amazing rich in flavours. Plenty of food, no need to panic. Thanks to Chrismaria team.
