Review Eggspectation - Napanee

Good breakfast. I had the eggs Benedict classic and sausages. Tasted great however the fruit on the side of the plate looked like it had been cut up 2 days before as it was dry.

Food is good, menu has a nice range of breakfast choices, the dining room is spacious and there are booths available. Speed of service could be improved.

If i could give it 0 stars i would. Terrible menu for the area, took 10 mins to get drinks, our waitress never smiled. We were ready to order when she took our drink order but said she can't take our food order as there were tables waiting before us. An hr total in restaurant for 2 breakfast meals. Over price. Lack of food in plate. My poached egg was no bigger then a toonie. Husbands meat omelette was no thicker then 1/8 inch. Gross coffee. Spoiled cream on table. Go back to the old menu and name.

Service was lacking. Server took a long time to take our order and never checked on us after giving us our food, despite there only being 4 people at the restaurant. Food was not good. Eggs overcooked, pancakes tasteless, and potatoes were very oily and floppy. I also found a hair in my pancakes. Not impressed.

The service was great. ... however, I almost ate a grapefruit slice (it was the size of an orange and therefore I thought it was a blood orange... something prodded me to double check.... glad I did....the slice was sitting on top of the watermelon so couldn't eat that.... I pointed out to the server (Asst GM) that she might want to change her choice of fruit as grapefruit can be detrimental to people who are on cholesterol, blood pressure, and type 2 diabetes meds.... she was totally unconcerned and said that's what they serve and always have.... for this total lack of concern for their clientele... they're getting one star from me... oh, and btw... half the amount of potatoes is more than sufficient

Had lunch after the grand opening, went in at 1130am, drinks brought within 15minutes, told waitress I had to be out by 1pm, order not taken till 1240pm, didn't get order until 130pm, and didn't get out till 2pm. Won't ever go again!!! My husband went another time, waited 40 minutes for a burnt burger, sent it back and waitress told him McDonald's is right across the road. Unbelievable and unacceptable service. Shut it down!

My burger took 45 minutes and was burnt. Place only had 3 other tables occupied. House dressing was a bottled variety and the price was outrageous! People came and left before ordering. Will not return.

It fed us, is about all I can say. My omelet was bland and overwhelmed by peppers. The server was very nice but there weren't enough, so we didn't really see her. The whole experience was meh. Next time I'd just drive to Kingston for something else.
