Review Chuck's Roadhouse - Napanee

This is a large establishment, lots of room and good service, however the food is nothing to write about unfortunately. Firstly it took forever to come out. For a place not that busy I don't know why it would take so long. I had the Buffalo chicken burger (it's not what I would consider buffalo) the patty was dry (even with the sauce on it). The ranch that was served with it was delicious tho. Good for fry dipping. The barbeque sauce wasn't my thing. The bacon cheddar burger was described as tasteless. But the prices are good. Mind you I would pay more if it was better food!

I found Chuck's to be a good option for inexpensive standard pub fare however vegetarian menu options were limited. I had the Ceasar salad and it was a good size for about $7. The bruschetta flatbread appetizer, I think about $11, was phenomenal though and I'd highly recommend it.

Avoid going to this place if you go with family. We came with family and a dog and specifically called in advanced to make sure they are allowed, and we're told they are, in the patio. But when we asked for a table they tell us waiting time is 30 mins although the place is empty. Low staff in the kitchen is the explanation (makes total sense), but when we accepted it and asked to be seated, they said now the waiting time is one hour and recommended to get somewhere else.

Loved it. Servers and greeters were amazing and friendly. Food was very good and amazingly cheap.

Food and service was great. Surprised they no longer had mashed potatoes but the loaded baked potato more than made up for it. Had the Lamb Chops and they were cooked perfectly. My 4 guests were also very satisfied their Chicken Parm, Chuck's Burger and Chicken/Rib combo. Very tasty and cooked right. We will be back for sure.

Napanee is a good place to take a break when driving long distances on highway 401. There is the Flying V rest area, which can accomondate RVs and large trucks. There are cheap gas stations at the Flying V and W O Stinson and sons. Then close by there are a bunch of restaurants on both sides of the bridge, such as, Chuck's Roadhouse. Chuck's Roadhouse is a big restaurant both internally and an ample sized patio. Inside there is a big multiscreen TV, lots of large size booths and bar stool style tables. The Roadhouse can easily accomondate multiple parties of 10 or more. However, I noticed that food service for large groups can negatively impact the rest of the restaurant by increasing waiting time to get food after it was ordered. Getting drinks was no problem and that service was fast. I enjoyed eating Chuck's pepper steak with mashed potatoes. Prices were reasonable. Parking was easy and it was easy to get to the Roadhouse from the 401. I just wished the food service was faster. If you like my reviews, photos or videos just chuck up the road with a thumbs up

Ribs!!! What more can I say? πŸ€·πŸ½β€β™‚οΈπŸ˜ Delicious, and good portion. Appetizers are excellent also (shared the Buffalo chicken wings and cheese sticks). Very friendly service. And a most decent price. I'll be checking in next time I'm in that neck of the woods. πŸ™‚

Great tasting food selections and staff are friendly and courteous. Its our go to spot. Today's lunch was over the top. This Chucks have excellent staff that are friendly and courteous. The restaurant is clean and tidy inside and out. In season there is an excellent outdoor patio.
