Large family group dining in and we decided to start off our experience with the nachos (strange appy for an Italian restaurant). The staffing was not sufficient enough, as there was one employee answering phones, seating guests, taking orders and everything in between. After 20 minutes our nacho appy arrived and the “tortilla chips” were literally nacho Doritos (see picture) with a side of sour cream and sals...no wait, that is marinara sauce. Literally, marinara sauce for nacho dipping. Confused by the nachos, the marinara sauce completely threw us off. The pizza was very hit and miss amongst our group, as some orders were undercooked and some were very bland. Not sure it’s worth a return trip. A positive note was the live music was very enjoyable.

This is a lovely small place and we had a relaxing experience. The salad we ordered was very good and large enough to share. We got rather simple pizzas on purpose and they were good. The dough was nice and the sauce was pleasant, but perhaps it could use a bit more spices. It was wonderful to not have things overly salty and everything tasted fresh. The staff/owner couldn’t have been more lovely. We will definitely go back.

Not sure what all the hype is about - the pizza is fine but nothing amazing by any means. Definitely does not remind me of any pizza I've had in Italy .... They cooked the basil on the pizzas which was really weird, used sliced canned black olives instead of proper Italian ones, and really were cheap with the toppings for the prices. I should have taken a picture of the prosciutto arugula - maybe 4 slices of prosciutto and a tiny sprinkling of arugula. Very disappointing in general. The crust was ok, but again, nothing to write home about. Very nice service though!

This is hands down the best pizza I have had in a LONG time.
Crispy crust baked fresh with quality ingredients.
Cheese is the real deal and there is real care and attention put into the sauce and composition of your pizza.
Definitely go into the restaurant to eat. The place is small but lovely with a nice intimate dinning room and some absolute knock out appetizers.
we had caprese and it was fantastic, while the brochette is already developing a reputation as a must have.
Do yourself and the local business a favor and eat here tonight

This new restaurant in North Nanaimo has the greatest thin crust pizza! The crust reminds us of the crusts they have in Italy. They don't have delivery available yet, but it is worth picking up, or you can eat in. The ingredients are so fresh and tasty. They are also licensed, if you want a drink with your dinner. I highly recommend giving them a try.

Arrived just before closing, but they seated us anyway. Was our first time there and we were not disappointed. Had never tried a pizza with white sauce, so went with that and was pleasantly surprised how delicious it was. Will certainly be going back.

Very attentive and friendly staff. Their crust is some of the best on this part of the Island! Highly recommend the Margherita with some extra fixings (we added mushrooms, pizza, and Italian sausage to ours)
