We loved the Mandarin House. Out of all Chinese food restaurants I've eaten at this one has the freshest meal. The meat was exteremly tender and each dish had wonderful flavors. We most definitely plan on going back again.

Worst customer service ever experienced. I called to tell them that they package my food upside down so it all fell out and spilled and they told me no that I am the problem they packaged it correctly. And if it's not my fault it's definitely the delivery drivers. $70 in food and this is how it is.

Good Food and Reasonable priced Chinese food. I had it from 3 to 4 times takeout Always very accommodating for really different request. Some dishes you should try is Seafood Soup, Ginger Chicken Chicken Chow Mein.

Anytime I'm in Nanaimo, this restaurant is an essential stop. Their food is always pprepared and plated well, and the serving sizes are perfect. If you're a fan of BBQ pork I highly recommend trying theirs.

We made reservations for 4pm Christmas day. After driving in from out of town during a noteworthy snowstorm, we arrived at the restaurant only to be told they were too busy with delivery/takeout orders and 'didn'f have a cook' to make our food. Why take reservations if you can't/won't serve them?

Once again, we had the meal for eight and were not disappointed! The choice of dishes were a great mix. The flavors were delicious, and you get lots of food. Love the deep fried prawns and chicken wings. Awesome value for a family feast with leftovers 😋
