The rooms left me wishing more, so simple but whatever just slept one night there, also the music is bumpin hard (it was metal karaoke night) but good thing is that it finished at midnight on dot. The bar is cool tho and the bathrooms are trippy. Nice treatment by the staff too.

This place used to be my stomping grounds so to say as I lived here all my life. The Cambie is ok for myself to sit and relax during the day hours. The nights usually seem geared for the younger generation and it should be. I stood in there one night a year ago in 2019 with the loudest music i ever heard in this place. It was vibrating and totally not my thing. Not sure what kind of music it was. Wild music. Pool is great there - free or paid for. Pull tabs with lots of sports on TVs all around the premises. Comfortable place with an outside sitting area where you can smoke. I liked it when there was a kitchen in use there to order food. I do not think there is food ordering there right now. The place is historical and it is nice to see it is still open. I haven't been in here since 2019 and it was usually to look for one of my grown children... Yup my excuse... lol

Looked in with my wife for a couple of beers during the afternoon having read reviews. It was dark and very much a 'dive' and she wasn't too impressed to start with. Great choice of beers, good music through the speakers, what's not to like? By the time we left she loved it.
