A&w Restaurant - Nanaimo - Photo album

Customer Service: 5/5 All the staff were really nice and polite. They also were really quick with getting us water, and serving our food. Ambience: 4.5/5 The lighting was slightly off but it was a busy yet still not overcrowded restaurant. Food: 3.5/5 It's like a hit or miss. We ordered two dishes
Great place to go for a lunch! We had Dim Sum plus more. The service was great, friendly people. Food was fresh hot and fast! Thanks again!
Authentic Dim Sum here in Nanaimo? In the past us Islanders would need to either go to Victoria's Chinatown or cross by ferry over to the lower mainland for an authentic Dim Sum experience. At Shanghai City they offer a full menu Dim Sum only on the weekends 11 AM to 2 PM. We arrived around 1 pm an
We went here for my birthday dinner. We just want to eat Chinese cuisine. We are surprised when we were asked, if we would like only to order or dine in the buffet area. I did not expect that this restaurant is also a buffet place. You can get your own food. No one will serve it to you unlike the
One of the best Chinese restaurants my family and I have gone to. Average prices for good Chinese food. Great service and awesome food-both dim sum and the buffet. 100% would recommend eating here. Comparable to the Chinese restaurants on the lower mainland.
Buffet for both lunch and supper. Licensed. Good Canadian/Chinese food with easy parking. A clean restaurant. I recommend it.
Love this place, the best wonton soup I've had, and believe me I've had a lot! Most places don't have shrimp at the luncheon smorgasbord, but they do here, and the chicken is crunchy and delicious.
The food here is good. I arrived at 12 pm, The food at the smorgasbord was fresh and delicious. The service was good, the coffee was good.
Food was hot and fresh, pretty standard items for a Chinese buffet. Staff was very friendly and attentive. Will go back when I’m in the area.
Arrived for lunch buffet but learned it was only on weekdays. Tried dim sum instead and it was pretty good. Flavours were good, chow fun was great.
Went for the lunch buffet. Food was fresh, and tasted good. Nothing special but not bad either
Shanghai City is our favourite buffet. The food is wonderful and the buffet is kept full and fresh. The staff are so friendly and welcoming. Always a pleasure to dine there.
