Review Teriyaki Experience - Nanaimo

BC Food Adventures
Teriyaki Experience is undergoing some kind of change and looks like Edo Japan opening by the Triple O's (same area). Not sure if it's renovation or closing to a new business. I only tried this place twice but it's not as good as Edo Japan. The food was meh and looking a bit run down. I guess we'll see if it's still around and how it's going to fare with Edo Japan steps away.

Friendliest staff, fresh food and great prices. The owner that served me was super helpful with giving me her recommendation for an authentic experience.

The new store beside the Triple O is Edo Japan. This is the second street location on the island. There is one in Langford. The owner is not the same owner of Teriyaki Experience.

The spring rolls were cold and the veggies in the stir fry were not cooked. Pretty sad considering this place used to be my favourite place to go to get a quick lunch. 18 dollars is a high price to pay for sub par food.

If you want a fast good quality stir fry then this is the place for you. Good food, friendly staff, and very fast.... I left my first review for this place 6 or 7 years ago when it was run by different owners. I felt the need to update my review to 5 stars and to leave a new comment as the husband and wife team who run it are awesome! So friendly and they make awesome food. Always good food and great service!

I walk by this place everyday with my kids and I always say we have to try this place, it always smells so good walking by. After reading all these great reviews and seeing that the owners actually comment on them is spectacular, you know they obviously care and respect their customers. I am going to eat there by the end of the week and will post another review.

I didn't hear the lady when my food was ready; but i sure did end up hearing her when she angrily started yelling from across the restaurant at me. Worst dining experience ever. Would never come back. Also the tofu is absolutely horrid.

First time in since new management. The girl at the till waa very friendly. The quality of food...Poor. My rice had many either uncooked or dry pieces, the vegetables are 90% bean sprouts (although they advertise new improved vegetable mix) and the meat portion is tiny and very salty. Had the one lady not have been friendly, I would have given its place 1 star.
