Was really looking forward to trying this place. The atmosphere was fun and our server was amazing. But the food was just okay. The salad was fine and the won ton soup were interesting, and tasted decent, but not spectacular. Will likely be back to try the desserts but so far not in the top five bes
Tonight we by fluke chose to go Mrs. Richies.( I wanted family friendly and a good burger) So I ended up on old Google and boom up popped Mrs. Richies! From the moment we walked in the door ( the friendly welcome was huge and super appreciated) Kimberly was our waitress and she was excellent.
Mrs Riches: They have very friendly service, good Covid precautions and a quiet setting. The K2 Burger Challenge is a thing to behold. If you can consume this violently large burger platter, you eat for free. Their polaroid wall of fame is like a gladiator memorial of failed hopefuls who flung
The burger I had was so juicy! I actually was not expecting that. A bit scary to get here if it's snowing, it's at the end of a very steep hill!
We come here once every couple of years. And it has never failed to impress. The food is always the tastiest you could imagine, the portions are large. And our servers have always seem to be the best nanaimo has to offer. Thanks Mrs. Riches, your the best.
Doing such a great job, amazing service and excellent food 🥰
It was good, but has gone down hill lately. Last visit made sure we would not come back. The Vietnamese restaurant on Bowen satisfies my craving for wonton soup more anyway.
Amazing service, as always. We come here every year for my birthday dinner and it never disappoints. Huge portions, friendly staff, incredible drinks, fun atmosphere.
