The staff had to read from a binder to tell me if there was any buck wheat in the pizza crust and although it was past noon it took some serious time to get my order. I also was taking it (rather than dining in) with me so I didn't appriciate that the machine told you to give a tip it did not ask if you would like to, as I didn't know yet I hadn't received my order, I put 0.00 sorry ladies nothing angers me more than assuming I am giving a tip.

Close to the water and my pure energy smoothie was awesome! The pizza was good (not great). And I do like the whole raw food idea.

A lunch break guilty pleasure. Power House smoothies and the lemon energy balls are my guilty pleasure (the guilt comes from the price). They are just down the street from my office and have sucked me in on many a day. Definitely not the cheapest option around, but the staff are amazing and the treats are delicious. The actual meals are also good. I've received more than a couple free samples over the course of my visits. I'd recommend to anyone who wants a healthier option, or who just loves a good natural-tasting smoothie.

Raw is always going to be on the pricey side, that's just something you need to be prepared for if you want to eat raw food... but I thought this place was pretty reasonable considering. It's less pricey than "Bliss" raw food in Victoria.
So when I first saw that there was a raw vegan restaurant in Nanaimo, I was stoked! I absolutely live the go green smoothie, bliss mylkshake (all mlykshakes are made with fresh almond mylk), satisfaction mylkshake, cloud 9, energizer juice, passion juice, lasagne and caesar salad, falafel wrap, spicy kelp noodle salad and my absoute favourite dish is the.sweet onion veggie wrap! If you love raw food, you will love this place. The owner is very passionate about raw, living foods and it shows in the taste, presentation of the food as well as the atmosphere! I have enjoyed everything I have eaten here, so I hope you enjoy this food as much as I have!

Amazing food!!! I had the Falafel wrap and all I can say is Wow!!!The food is soo fresh and delicious. It is the best wrap I have ever had. Staff are lovely and prices are very reasonable considering the effort that has to go into making their dishes. A Must visit when in Nanaimo

Mmmm. Anything you order at this Power House is guaranteed to be delicious! Not only is it delicious, but it is also super healthy. Who knew eating healthy could taste this good?! They make amazing smoothies and their vegan cheesecake is SO yummy! Yes, i said cheesecake. This place is definitely worth trying!
AMAZING. I discovered this place after a day of diving in Nanaimo. I ordered the Pesto Pizza and all I can say is that it was absolutely amazing. The crust was made of organic sprouted buckwheat and sunflower seed, flax seed and fresh carrots, garlic, EVOO and Himalayan Sea salt (which they dehydrate to make crispy). On the crust was a cashew ricotta, walnuts, spinach and basil pesto, and it was topped with fresh baby spinach, yellow bell peppers and a cashew ranch dressing and brazil nut parmesan. It was very filling and amazingly tasty.
I also ate for dessert the Chocolate Ganache Brownie, and all I can say is it was an orgasmic chocolate experience in my mouth. It was very thick, rich and almost fudge-like consistency. A must try.
The juices are also made fresh in front of you...I enjoyed the Refresh juice, a combination of orange, grapefruit and apple. Very refreshing :)

Had the sweet onion wrap. FANTASTIC. Amazing to find raw wraps... The wrap is fresh and tasty, not under or over done. Soft and pliable. Fresh veggies and a tasty sauce. Very strong sweet onion taste though. Cute presentation. I asked for a glass of water and got to choose orange or cucumber- sliced into the water! Cute glasses, too! Fresh and refreshing. Had the granola bar on another visit. Definitely too $$$ but it was TASTY! Will have the sweet onion wrap everytime I go to Nanaimo!
