Absolutely amazing food at such a reasonable price! Officially my favorite restaurant! Service is also great and fast too!
We had a beautiful 4 course meal last Friday, which the chef happily and expertly veganized for us. This restaurant makes some seriously delicious tofu! We plan to make you our regular date night location, and recommend you to our vegan friends.
I'm pretty much addicted to the fried rice, everything is very tasty and lots of vegetarian options.

Amazing food and atmosphere. The atmosphere is very cabin with a mix thailander culture. Clean and pleasing to the eyes its great place to eat. The sitting could be limited on certain times due to amount traffic this place gets so be wary of that and be advice to come early if possible. The washroom were clean and very well renovated and decorate. All in all a great place to eat.
The food is delicious and indistinguishable from the Thai food I ate in Asia. The service is kind and genuinely caring. The atmosphere is warm and cozy. I love this place!!!
Been here three times and always good...excellent food,service and prices...and there is no other place in Nanaimo that serves Chang beer except The Orchid....I highly recommend this eatery. I spent one month in Asia recently and this place is very authentic,as good as it gets....:)
Small staff but great food! One of the better Thai restaurants I've been to. Stopped here for lunch before jumping on the ferry.

Best Thai place in Nanaimo. It's a family owned restaurant, come and support your local businesses! Strongly encourage you to try the coconut soup, I've gotten a couple of people hooked on it already. The Pad Thai is second to none, if I ever have a Pad Thai elsewhere, it just makes me crave the one at Thai Orchid. The service is fantastic and friendly, cannot recommend this place enough, it's cozy for a dinner date or a quick in and out!
Not only is this the best Thai food resturant that I've been to in Nanimo. This is the best Thai food resturant that I've been to period. The service is incredible not to mention all the dishes are absolutely delicious. I look forward to working my way through the entire menu in the year to come!
