I moved from Calgary in 2014 and we have lots of options for really great pho. Huong Lan is the best I’ve found on the island! It’s always consistently delicious and the staff are incredibly attentive and always greet you with a smile. 100% recommend every chance I get. �
I would come here again to eat. The portion size was tremendous. And the food was excellent also the service was excellent to.
Great food Loved our meal. Waitress was quick and helpful. Phò had wonderful flavors. Salad roles fresh and crunchy. Didn't really care for the deep fried banana desert. Could have used more chocolate sauce. But that's just me.
My first experience eating Pho was at this restaurant. I've since been back many times. I love the staff, they are always friendly making sure everything is alright. I highly recommend them.
I'm thoroughly enjoying Huong Lan. I haven't been to a Vietnamese restaurant this good since I lived in Calgary. They have tripe, tendon, nice garnishes and good service. I don't like driving but I'll drive down to Nanaimo from Parksville for Huong Lan.

I eat at this establishment at least once a week. And I take their frozen soup for my work lunches. By far my most favourite place to eat!! Not to mention my two year old loves it too!! A win win for sure !!
Love this restaurant. Plan ahead so you don't have to wait, but if you do have to wait it's worth it. Great food!

Went in just before closing without realizing it, I offered to leave but the server was super nice and said it was no problem. Food came unbelievably quick and I'm so glad I stopped in because it is fantastic food, couldn't have been better. I've been to the Parksville one too and haven't been disappointed there either. Great food and friendly people all around, will definitely be back.
Our ferry delayed for two hours so when we finally arrived in Nanaimo, we decided to go for lunch at Huong Lan. The restaurant was packed at 12:30pm and people were still coming in so we waited for about 20 mins. Despite them being so busy, they still had time to sanitize all tables, chairs, menu, and even the condiments on the table. The food was surprisingly delicious, especially the spring roll.
Highly recommended.

Bue bum hue waa delicious! Says spicy but just right. The viet coffee was good too just dont burn your finger like I did by touching it lol.

On the plus it keeps. Wanted 23 large so bad, but was going to be busy till late. Bought it, had my wife take it home. 4 hours later i get home, get it out the fridge, and because of the way they package it i can easily heat what needs to be heat and put it together and eat it and it was like I had just order it. Was fresh and tasty like i just ordered it and for the price....thumbs up!
This is an amazing Vietnamese restaurant in Nanaimo. We had strawberry bubble tea, fried spring rolls and pho tai. The food was absolutely delicious! And the staff are so nice & friendly. We highly recommend this place.
