Delicious. Was visiting Nova Scotia from Winnipeg, MB and stopped here on the way out to East Jeddore. Had the fish the first time but after trying the clams I needed to go back another time and get those. Amazing food and environment. Will definitely go back next time I'm there!
This is a traditional fish an chip place-- plastic forks, paper plates and paper cups of cole slaw. It will be lived up at lunch and supper time, but any wait is worth it because it is consistently fresh and delicious. I've not tried their clams or other items, but their fries and onion rings are also perfect so I'm betting this is a sure thing. Nice summer treat for our family.
Yummy!. This is the best place I have ever eaten fish and chips from! They are simply fantastic! The best scallops too!
I know I said I was going to Freddie’s Fantastic Fish House or Wharf Wraps this time, but I couldn’t pass up the opportunity for a beach day with MGyver and a trip to Musquodoboit Harbour for some back-country fish ‘n’ chips. Musquodoboit is technically in Halifax, so it makes the cut for the HFX quest. I had never been to “downtown” Musquodoboit, but for those who reside there, Harbour Fish ‘N Fries is a popular spot. This far away gem is located across from a railway museum, which I could see from the somewhat spacious patio – also a great place to watch the vintage cars pulling in and out of the parking lot. There is also an ample dining room, but the ordering space is rather cramped. No matter – the restaurant is licensed AND it has a slushie machine. So it’s all good in my books. Not that I saw any evidence of spirits to put IN your slushie… The typical seafood shack fare is served. Nice and quiet for an early dinner/lqte lunch around 2.30pm on a Friday in Oct. Lots of takeout traffic. Place was clean, same washrooms. Staff very friendly and accomodating of sauce requests. Fish was superb. We had the 1pc, fish-which, and rings. Best fried fish we've had all summer!
Amazing fish and fries. Very close to being the best fish I've had. The batter was golden and fried to perfection and the fish was fresh and flaky
We ordered the clams&chips and fish&chips both were delicious!!! Not too much batter on either of them and they were so fresh. My only complaint was the lack of to go containers (take out orders are served on paper plates) and small amount of tartar sauce given...

Came here with a none fish lover. We decided to get the chicken burger and chicken fingers. The burger was okay. Good size. Chicken fingers were good sized and nice and hot. It was a busy time when we arrived, but we were able to order pretty quickly and received our food within a good time. Restaurant was clean and the staff were very helpful and kind.
Great little place to stop into if you are down in the harbour area of Musquodoboit. I had the seafood platter and it was not only delicious but it also came in nice sized portions and even extra fish pieces. All around good stop and the staff are very nice too.
Some of the best fish and chips I've ever had. Super fresh and cooked perfectly. The place was busy so expect a bit of a wait but its worth every minute.
See this place open? Just do yourself a favour and stop and have some Chips and seafood.

Amazing service. Called in an order..the lady said ready in 10 mins...by the time I went in to SS and got to the restaurant, it was ready! Ordered an order of clans when I got there, and they were ready in minutes! Great food for a great price! Will be back again :)
