this place offers the most unique dining experience ever. we were guided into a pitch black room and were brought surprise dishes. I’m not gonna lie, not being able to see anything kind of gave me anxiety but I got over it throughout the night. the waiters are very nice and helpful btw. super fun experience and I would recommend everyone to try it at least once!!

From the moment we arrived, the attentive staff, including our exceptional server, Fey, made us feel at ease. He expertly guided us through each course, sharing enthralling stories along the way, making the experience even more memorable.
We opted for the surprise courses, which proved to be a delightful adventure for our taste buds. With our sense of sight temporarily removed, our other senses were heightened, allowing us to fully appreciate the intricate textures, enticing aromas, and exquisite flavors of each dish.
While the price may be on the higher side, the unparalleled experience at O.Noir is undoubtedly worth it. I highly recommend this empathetic culinary adventure to everyone seeking a truly unique dining experience.

What an awesome experience this was! There's nothing like it anywhere in the World! The entire service is in the dark, and you really can't see anything! Every server working here is legally blind, and it's so impressive.
Our server Fe was such an all star all night. His story is so gut wrenching, but regardless, he was spirited, outgoing, and professional. The food was really good, and I highly recommend doing the "surprise" menu.
If you're looking to venture out and try something unique, then this is the place for you! The food, the atmosphere, and the outstanding customer service was just incredible! Two thumbs way up to Binky, Gabriel an our bartender Laryssa for being such amazing hosts!

Fantastic experience for anyone looking for something outside of their comfort zone and different! You have diner in a pitch black room where you can’t see a thing. Its an excellent way to raise awareness towards the blind community. For informational purposes, you enter the restaurant and order all of your food before entering the dining room. You can also take a surprise menu which will have you eating top tier meals without knowing exactly what your eating. Keep in mind that you might be eating squid, rabbit, duck etc.. this place is fancy. The blind staff will lead you to your table and the service takes around 2h. I strongly recommend going here as a group as conversation is key when you can’t see. Friendly staff, excellent food and great experience. I recommend everyone try this at least once if your in the area.

I need to say that O.Noir was an amazing experience!! We had a pleasant night with our server Sami. Our reservation was 8 pm, I think that helped the environment not being so loud as other people have complained about.
I think people’s anxiety level really increases when they first walk into the room to sit down. People have the nervous laugh, sometimes loud, because of the unknown situation they find themselves in. It is surreal, the place is pitch black and the eyes do not adjust. DO NOT adjust. The entire time is all about being tactful. It is difficult to eat in the beginning, but after some tries, we got the hang of it.
Highly recommend it. Once in a lifetime experience! Thank you Sami!!

This had been on my mind for some time. The experience was amazing and truly awe-inspiring. Our server, Mathieu was amazing and we struck up a great chat about some of the challenges the visually impaired face daily. I have a new appreciation for buttering my bread! Will go back!

This was the wildest most unique dining experience I've ever had. I'll never forget it! The staff and customer service was incredible. I have a gluten sensitivity and they handled it so professionally. I really can't say enough nice things about the service I received! I would happily recommend it again and again!

This was the most exquisite dining experience I have ever had! Eating in the dark forced my other senses to heighten, creating an experience like no other. It helped me have a brief glimpse of what those with limited or no sight experience, I was able to really smell and taste my food, and had an entire meal with no one on their cell phones.
My food was delicious! I got the surprise cold and hot sea appetizers, surprise main, and the chocolate lava cake. All delicious with amazing flavors.
The staff were amazing. They were able to accomodate our very large group of 50 people and navigate in the dark with ease. Matthew, Sophia, and Fey provided the best service I have ever experienced. Our bar tender and the staff that checked us out were also fabulous. Thank you so much for the Epic experience from myself and our entire Epicure group.

I highly recommend this to everyone for an unforgettable date night or a fun activity between friends. This is an incredible experience that is worth trying at least once. The food also makes this place worth going for. I just wish they had an infrared camera to show us some footage afterwards. I'm sure that would give everyone some great laughs. Personally, I was eating with my hands the whole time..

I have heard about this place for many years, but it was when my family from Louisiana had heard about it and wanted to visit during a recent trip, was when I went for the first time.
Upon entering, you are greeted and given menus and shown a place to sit in the main lobby by the bar. The host explained the menu, how everything is done, asked about allergies and took our order. Oh, and we were asked to place our cellphones/purses into a locker. Very smart!
When we were ready to be seated at our main table, our server, Sammy, came out, and we all made like a congo line touching shoulders to enter into the transition room. When we were all in, he opened the doors to the dining room, which, of course, was in complete darkness. Sammy guided us to our table and seats. Explained where everything was on the table and confirmed our orders.
The food arrived quickly and Sammy would place it and our drinks on the table and explain where it was. He said if we needed anything, to just call his name. But we never had to because Sammy knew when we needed something. He was present just before we needed another drink or finishing up our starters. The service we received from Sammy was literally the best service I have ever had in ANY restaurant.
The food was absolutely amazing! All 4 of us enjoyed the meals. Our sense of taste and smell were definitely heightened by the lack of sight. AND... the prices were very reasonable!
The atmosphere was great! No cell phone distraction, either! We were able to "talk" to each other.
What an amazing and unique experience! I would highly recommend O.Noir to everyone. Everything was very impressive. Thank you to our host, the chefs, the bartender and especially Sammy - truly the best server around!

The unique aspect of O.Noir is the experience of dining in complete darkness and being attended to by visually impaired servers. Our waitress, Sophia, was absolutely wonderful and made the experience even more enjoyable. It is truly pitch black in there, which provides an opportunity to explore your senses in a completely new way. I would say this is more of a sensory experience than a culinary one. Overall the food was okay, but the experience was fun and memorable.

Such a disorienting experience but in the best way possible. Eating with zero visual aid was a challenge, especially with the lava cake. But it was something everyone should try once.

Fantastic food at great value. We ate on the patio, as my kids wanted to eat burgers and they're not on the menu for the "special" experience.
The beef tenderloin (shoulder) was delicious, with crispy kale and pickled cooked baby tomatoes adding so much to the dish. I asked for the crumble (which wasn't on the menu), and the waitress obliged - it was home made, healthy and tasty. I had to add a lot of salt, which was fine.
My wife didn't particularly enjoy her tofu curry, that was just OK. But my son loved his burger with emmental and smoked meat, and the fries were very good too.

Very cool experience. You are in pitch black so you can't see anything at all, which is a bit disorienting at first, but then you get used to it. I'd suggest getting things that are easy to eat in the dark! I had the ravioli which was delicious, my partner had the pan-fried fish, which he said was a bit under seasoned and awkward to manage. I got the surprise cocktail to drink and it was very tasty! I found you are much more aware of taste and your other senses since you reallyy can't see anything. If you are someone who is prone to anxiety, just keep that in mind when coming because it can be disorienting. But otherwise it is a really cool experience I would recommend!

Amazing experience! I can’t believe what a completely different experience was this ! Very well organized and 5 star food ! The lamb shank was out of this world ! Everything was perfect 👍. Just a little suggestion to the owner ( not even his fault) the outside graffiti doesn’t help .. I thought I made a mistake and it was an abandoned place ( from one side of the street!) this street use to be so charming, now is all full of graffiti.. you owners should push the city to constantly remove them !!!! It’s not fair for you guys ! Such a nice place to go !
