Cheap sandwich thats gonna fix your crave for Banh Mi. Baguette shape was a bit different from the typical you get in Vietnam. This one fit easier for one full bite of everything; bread, filling, and chitterlings. Excellent mayo-pate spread with generous filling in a baguette, what else do you wish for. Usually one is enough for me for a Meal but do get two. They also served varieties of other Vietnamese fresh rolls and ready to go food. Not to be missed. Too bad they wrap your sandwich in plastic bags.
I don't know why but I had been craving a banh mi (uber vietnamese treat) for about a month. Well, that craving was satisfied at Hoang Oanh last Sunday! Called up Lea, told her about my banh mi dreams and set to meet up in Chinatown (I just want to mention how much I appreciate the fact that when I go to Chinatown, I can eat chinese food, korean food, vietnamese food, japanese food etc! Now if it could only be a tad bigger!). Half an hour later, we were there baby!
Get a vietnamese sandwich (banh mi), its good, quick and delicious. Get 2, because you can't eat only one of those.
