So... I consider myself to be a burger connoisseur. I have to say, I went to Burger de Ville on Rue Jarry Est for the first time at this establishment and I had one of the best tasting burgers I have had in years. The patties are like my dad use to make on the Bar-B, you can tell them how you want them grilled, med, med well done, etc... The free toppings are amazing and bountiful, it was like going to your buddies house for a bar-b-q but your buddy is a chef, just wonderful and full of flavor. After our meal, the chef asked us if we wanted to try his sweet potato soup and he gave us two small bowls. It blew us away, we discovered it was the ginger, never would have thought to add ginger to a sweet potato soup but again, it was amazing and acted as a digestive. Lastly, the service, a more friendly and helpful staff you could not ask for. We left smiling and vowed to return real soon. Thank you guys, well done!

Amazing burgers and steak! Honestly is there a better burger joint in the city than this place? Inexpensive, especially for the quality you are getting. Most burgers will top out around $7-8, and the portions are big. For most common burgers they're cheaper than the fast food restaurant chains, but much better quality. Quality is also way above some of the "trendy" hamburger restaurants that have opened recently; they are substantially cheaper than them. Had a 12oz steak (New York strip) with a side for $18.95 (pic below) ; very inexpensive for the quality of the steak they make, and it's fresh (due to this the price is variable).

This place holds my heart when it comes to burgers. I go here minimum once a month and always order the Cantina burger which includes mozzarella, pancetta, lots of garlic and pure magic. You'll be burping garlic all day after this but it's so worth it.
Definitely order the spicy fries with spicy mayo as well.

YUMMM ! Me and my boyfriend’s go to place for delicious burgers . I always take the “Mediterranean” burger which consists of grilled veggies and a meat patty . Super fresh food and worth the price you pay.

Seriously the best burger in Montreal. The service is fast and the staff is friendly. The high quality beef is freshly ground daily and cooked to your specifications. Everytime I eat a burger here I'm always blown away by how great it is. I had the cheese and bacon burger with caramelized onions with spicy mayo and jalapeño peppers (cooked medium) and a small poutine with a sprite for $17.50. Plenty of food to appease my huge appetite at an unbeatable price for the quality. Highly recommend the Burger de Ville on 7093 Jarry east street. Wherever you live, it's worth the detour. Stop reading and head over there now.

Love the noir et bleu (black and blue) burger. Fresh patty rolled in peppercorns with blue cheese on top.
The spicy fries are also great.
This is my favorite burger place in Montreal, I haven't found a similar burger (to the black and blue) anywhere else!

Ok burger. They make you pay first, then be seated. So you leave a tip without measuring the service or food (which is cool but then you have to leave a 2nd tip to the girl who brings you your food..or does she get the first tip?) Half the place was empty, but it was incredibly long. Many people complaining about wait time for seated and take out.
I do not recommend the one on st laurent.
Serveuse was sweet.
It is also a bit expensive

I have eaten there about 10 times before leaving this review. Reason is, it was so good the first time that i thought it cant be possible to be this good....
Well, after 9 more visits i can tell you without a doubt burger deville is the best hamburger i have EVER eaten.
Price is not even a consideration. My only regret is i dont live very close but, its a great destination for my motorcycle rides.
5 stars is not enough..... i would have easily given 10.

I went to the one on Westminster. The food and service were amazing! The prices are so affordable! Especially for a huge burger that was grilled on the spot with fresh ground beef (not frozen) cooked and topped to your preferences. Our order was only $20.70 for 2 burgers, a fry and a bottle of Stewarts rootbeer. When i first got there i was early so i ordered a fry to kill some time. And the waiter was just as attentive to me while eating my 3$ fry as when we were eating our burgers and fry.

I have eaten at Burger de Ville 3 times and was sick 3 times. Unfortunately I live close to one of their restaurants and the smell coming out of that place is horrible!! It is a popular place but I will not go back there but I do have to pass it almost every day.

Right now it's my favorite burger on the island, nudging ahead of mr steer. I've tried several items from the menu and everything is really good, especially the burgers and spicy fries. Sometimes the dining room w the TVs is fenced off when I was hoping to watch the game, but that is offset by their free wifi service.... Just ask for the password

Je lisais les commentaires disant que c'était les meilleurs hamburgers en ville et me disait que c'est sûrement exagéré. Mais je dois dire que c'est vrai!!! Dans la même gamme de prix et de lieux ce sont effectivement les meilleurs. La qualité et la fraîcheur de la viande est juste incomparable. Le choix de condiments est impressionnant. Les frites délicieuses.

Amazing burgers, so much better than your typical burger joint. You can either pick one of their signature burgers, or make your own, and the prices are very reasonable. Meat is fresh and prepared daily with no preservatives, and the staff is extremely friendly. A must try.<br/><br/>------<br/><br/>Returned recently, and everything I remembered about this place was the same. Fantastic meat, and very well put together burgers. Delicious spicy fries. And I really loved how the young guys who made our burgers took pride in their work and made sure we liked our meal. Kodus!
