Bagel Etc. - Montreal - Photo album

A classic diner with a tonne of character. Apparently, this was one of Leonard Cohen's old haunts and it's easy to see why given the extensive menu, tasty food, friendly staff, and convenient location. It really hit the spot after a morning of shopping and exploring the neighborhood.
Nice place to discover. Staff is professional and polite. We ordered classic breakfast that was tasty. We had to try the russian bread! I was good, almost as good as at home 🇷🇺 We recommend.
Decent brunch place with a strong focus on bagel in downtown Montreal. Big portion and reasonably priced. The best item that we tried was the bagel with cream cheese and smoked salmon. The cream cheese was smooth, creamy and has just the right amount of sourness. They could get quite busy around 12
First class bagels. Fresh ingredients. Tasteful furnishings. Okay, the decoration is close to kitsch, but it goes perfectly with the place. Service nice, young and handsome. Had a good start for the day.
Good location, terrace available, good food, friendly staffs, very busy. No credit card, only cash and debit. TG we had some cash.
Super old bagel. Could easily have been a great breakfast with a fresh bagel. I got the Valmont. The eggs were poached just right but the bagel was at least two days old and untoasted. Hard, crumbly and unsatisfactory for a place called Bagels, etc.
A great breakfast restaurant. Nice and quick service and the food was very delicious.
I love this place! We've had breakfast here a few times and have tried everything from the classic breakfast to omelettes to eggs benedict and have never been disappointed. Quality is excellent. Portion sizes are good. Service is excellent and the atmosphere is great. MUCH better than anything else
