Review Cafe Vito - Montreal

Best Quests
One of our favourite ways to discover something new is spontaneously. That's exactly what happened here. A post meal evening walk led us to this quaint, européen-feeling café. Initially attracted by the Euro cup highlights on giant outdoor screens ; we decided to sit and have a drink... And we were pleasantly surprised.

This is such a zestful place in the middle of residential part of the city. This petit coffee shop is located at the corner of pleasant street and managed by friendly lady. Thank you for delicious coffees.

Café Vito is a landmark in the Villeray area. It’s not only a place to go grab a coffee or something to eat, it’s also a place where you feel like you’re part of the family. Having worked in the area as a realtor for several years now, it’s one of my favorite places to simply take a little break from my busy day and the best part is to chat with Vito and his amazing staff. I recommend cafe Vito giving it a 5 star !!

Stopped by for an americano today and they had oat milk (and other alternative milks). Friendly service, indoor and outdoor seating and delicious coffee!

Coffee is authentic, my girlfriend loved the lemonade, gelato is also a must. Cannolis are also very not the best in the neighborhood but still worth a shot. Sandwiches are also fair and tasty.

Usually I make the effort to pass by some local cafes to taste that specialty coffee and food. Vito was one of the great experiences last week. Very well made coffees. Worth the stop. All staff look very hard working people. All the best !!

What a great little place to grab a cup of superbly made coffee in Villeray. Super friendly staff and owner. We have only gone twice and they remembered our order from the last time and that was like 2 weeks ago. Good selection of tasty treats to eat as well small bits to eat if you are a little hunger. If you love coffee stop in this place

Great coffee! Love its location, friendly staff. A unique experience. These guys do coffee right. Always make it a point to visit when I'm in the area. It can be a PITA to park here though but it's worth the effort.

Another Montréal espresso jewel. I love the open window and the outside seating space. Coffee is tasty and staff is friendly.

This is D&G's 2nd coffee shop from the "info coffee passport".

A tiny coffee shop linked with a laundry shop. The staffs are super friendly, like almost talking to you as if your their buddy. When you buy your little treats, you serve yourself.

The treats we got was tasty and lightly sweeten. It's perfect with a latte as D&G don't add sugar to their latte. The taste of the latte was ok, not much surprise.

Let the adventure continue!

such a tiny place, such great coffee!

its the olimpico of the north as vito used to work at olimpico before moving on and opening this tiny café which is connected to a laundromat.

as for coffee, expect similarity to olimpico but that's where the similarity ends i'd say. besides pastries, they have lunch options so sandwiches and hotdogs. the best? their piped to order cannoli. can't go wrong with the classic combo of coffee and cannoli.

place is tiny, moving around is an adventure on most weekends. during summer, they open their window so you can order at the window instead of stepping in. not a lot of tourists, clientele is mostly people from the neighborhood so you are hanging amongst friends and family most of the time. simply, the best "hidden" café of villeray

Minimum Interac 5$! :)

The Foodie

Very friendly service, AMAZING Cappucino
Top 3 best Cappucino in Mtl - possibly the best.
Very small, yet comfortable.
Well deserving of its high rating.
Keep it up, I will be back soon.

Café Vito is nestled on the corner of a tree-lined neighborhood a few blocks from Parc Jarry. We walked from Métro Jarry making use of several alleys
