On April 2, 2022 went to Baton Rouge to celebrate my friend's birthday. The ambiance was amazing and the food was delicious! The steak that I had was so juicy. I loved it. The chocolate cake that I had was very moist, I loved it. The only thing that I would change is to have the spicy mayo sauce with the calamari. But that is because I love the spicy mayo with calamari. I love coming to this restaurant. The service was excellent. Did not have to wait long for our food. Also since it was my friend's birthday they brought the cookie ice cream which was also delicious.

The food, its presentation, ambience and service were quite good. Would definitely go back if ever I'm in Montreal again. Lois our waiter was attentive and quite the listener. He took our order without writing a thing down and brought everything that we ordered. We were quite impressed. He overheard us talking about my husband's birthday which we wanted to keep under wraps and to our surprise he brought him a birthday cookie with ice cream. When we were about to leave he gave us a few suggestions on what we could do while visiting and those worked out perfectly too. Get to Baton Rouge people and look for Louis!

Ribs and burger are apparently the best from their entire menu. I was not disappointed, the ribs really are great, soft and juicy. As a side I recommend to get apples rather than cole slaw, they’re soft and cinnamony. Both burger and ribs come with an ample amount of fries. Food and service is everything you’d expect from a chain restaurant. They keep their standards and everything is good but it lacks charisma. Overall had a great experience, it’s a perfect place where to go if you don’t want any surprises and just want to enjoy a satisfying meal.

One of the best in Montreal in my perseption. It was designed for Christmas that with dim light looked glorious. Food were perfect. Salad had a special sauce. Staffs were polite and helpful. A delay was happend for one of our orders which was a mistake of the cheif and they served a big dessert (they consider that we were three) for free as a apologize. It was unbelievable for me and create a very satisfied experience for us. Thanks Baton Rouge

Ample parking, diligent about checking vaccination passports. Very busy on weekends, quite noisy, music can be a bit loud in places. Very extensive menu, with a variety to please almost any diet. Large portions. The 14 oz prime rib was beautiful- served just past rare as requested (6 pm). Waiter was efficient, and willing to offer options to suit. Garlic mashed potatoes were perfect. Side Caesar salad substituted for vegetables humongous and lightly dressed with croutons. My parents shared the full rack of ribs with a skewer of shrimp, BBQ sauce on the side, with coleslaw and fries. Perfection! The hickory BBQ sauce was incredible, the fries crisp and delicious, served with ketchup and mayonnaise. Bone bowl and wet naps provided in advance by the experienced server. My sister in law and I both had Power Bowls- mine with Buffalo cauliflower wings, hers with crispy shrimp. Finally a light healthy ( & vegetarian) option! Julienned carrots, cucumber ribbons, soy beans 1/2 perfectly ripe avocado and a generous wedge of lime atop a mound of room temperature rice sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds. Just enough sauce to season the rice. Unfortunately, the shrimp and cauliflower were cold. I guess on a busy night coordinating 4 dishes can be a bit challenging. Not a morsel left, and we helped my brother with his Caesar and stole a few of the perfect fries. The baked potatoes passing by looked great. The 2018 Australian Shiraz Cabernet was a lovely blend, and the server noticed that my sister in law’s glass might need refilling and offered, but she needed to drive later and had only had a small taste. We finished with a slice of pecan pie a la mode which was a perfect bite when divided amongst 5, and walked out happy. Shortcomings: Reservations for parties of 7 or more (it says six at the location) only. We made sure to arrive at 5:30 to ensure seating. Otherwise, with another happy hour starting at 9, it’s usually packed until closing on weekends online reservations would be a good idea. As they have a large tented patio out front, a large section of the dining room was closed. I would have closed every second table in another part of the restaurant for social distancing instead. QR codes on the table for menu and wine list seemed to be the only option for English patrons, (my brother had to read the menu from his phone to my parents), some online items were not on the menu at this location. Printed, bound menus were only available in French. It would not kill then to add a small English translation beneath the French on the printed menu as most restaurants do. It appears that they are still trying to get staff after the pandemic challenges, as they were rushing around constantly, working as a team to clear tables, with hostesses and bar staff helping. However, never once did the ball drop, and the kitchen kept up admirably. Congestion at the entry/exit and cramped spacing at the bar concerned me during a third wave regardless of vaccination- diners also seemed to think that unmasking as soon as seated, and not covering up when interacting with the staff was fine. It was probably too busy to ask otherwise… The experience would have merited a 5 star review if the price points were just a little lower. $23 for the power bowls seemed a little steep, but the overall rating would have been a 4 1/2 star if Google maps allowed fraction ratings.

Omg the food is amazing. That asiansteak salad is mouth watering. Also try that ruby red mock tail. So good! Depending on how busy it is bartender may not mix it right so make sure the color is a darker and it looks thick

I called almost a month in advance to book a reservation for 20 for a surprise party for my girlfriend. The day of they had us standing up in the front for almost an hour but offered to seat us quicker if we were less people. The food and service were good after that but I was really disappointed considering all the stress it caused me about amost ruiningthe surprise.

From the moment we walked in we were greeted by a rude and unwelcoming she asked for our IDs and vaccine passports without even a “hello” or “welcome”. And when asking The crispy shrimp tastes like it was left out for 3 days, it was like chewing an extremely fishy tire. The spinach dip was more like a spinach spread, it was hard and dry. The ribs were mediocre and my two star rating goes to them. This is the last time for me at this place

Wonderful service, had a very likable waiter and had a delicious chicken burger! Food came quick and ambience was perfect. My boyfriend had a steak and lobster and both were perfect! For his birthday they gave him an incredibly good ice cream and cookie dessert on the house, (of course I had some and it was delicious!). Only comment would be that they could afford to put less fries on the plate as 90% of the fires given were wasted. I hate to see money going in the trash! Keep it up Bâton Rouge! The menu upgrade and news cocktails are wonderful!

It was great food. The steak was excellent and ribs were great.there was a glitch in system so our order was delayed but the waiter was very pleasant efficient and apologized for the delay and he brought the manager who was kind enough to offer salad and soup on the house to compensate for the delay. Waiter was quick in service and was asking us if we needed anything every 20 minutes which was very nice. Atmosphere was excellent. Will go back again. Definitely a must.

I tried the ahi tuna steak and it was awful. I eat raw fish regularly. The fish was not fresh and it smelled. I'm pretty concerned I'm going to get sick from the few bites I had. It just isn't quality fish. I guess no one orders this here because the fish texture and smell conveyed that it was pretty old meat. Disgusting!!!!!!!!!!

We went for lunch. The service was very fast and friendly. The food was delicious. The ambiance is warm and cozy. It's like this every time we go. I'd highly recommend this restaurant for burgers, steak or ribs.

Je trouve que les frites ne sont plus comme avant. Elles n'étaient pas cuites. Ma salade tendres poulets avait beaucoup plus de friture que de poulet. J'ai toujours adoré bâton rouge, mais hier la nourriture m'a déçue. Nous étions sur le boulevard Decarie. Et le menu pour enfant est carrément une portion pour adulte, ma fille de 4 ans était découragée de son plat gargantuesque.

Watch your money !!! Waiters are scam artists !! After paying cash for my meal waiter came back and said i stiffed him in front of my guests . The problem is he took a $ 20 out and replaced it with a $ 5 dollar bill ! I never gave him a five because i never had a $5 .......!!!! This place will never see me or my clients again .... BEWARE !!!

Not sure how you can forget two of eight items when preparing a salad! It would have been nice to at least offer replacement options, should you not have sufficient quantities on hand. I recommend checking your take-out meals before leaving the store!

The quality has gone down significantly, both in the food and the service. I used to love BR Decarie, but the last 4 times it's been disappointing. In chronological order: the meat was incredibly hard, the ribs were dry, I waited 35 minutes for a beer after asking for it repeatedly (and it arrived warm and flat) and my medium steak was raw. From now on, I'll pay the difference and go to the Keg.

Burger week is starting this week and what better way to start it off then a premiere tasting at one of the participating restaurant. Baton Rouge Steakhouse  was awesome and invited some burger lovers and foodie to try their featured Burger for the event. When you think Baton Rouge you might not think burger but with their Angus beef let me tell you that they do a very good one.

Our families have been going to Baton Rouge on Decarie Boulevard for sooo many years. It has now become our favourite family restaurant. It’s great food and price make it the perfect location for special gatherings. If you’re not familiar with this steakhouse, you’re seriously missing out! They basically serve your typical american dishes along with some Italian inspired food and other miscellaneous dishes.

I've been there for "lobster festival". The special event menu was great, the grilles lobster and steak were perfect. The service was good and always left a smile! :) I love the dessert crème brûlée so much ! Must try it!!!

Was there for dinner last night  tried the lobster festival  menu   We ordered the  risotto  lobster What I found  was  rice  with corn  a bit of cream  but you could not see any lobster   there were tiny little bits of lobster so insignificant could not believe it  and for this they  charge  25.00 Wont be back to this place  apparently the ribs  are decent but the rest  sucks

If I had to recommend to a tourist where to eat, I probably wouldn't recommend any Baton rouge, but if you know what they have to offer, then the service and food have a good consistency. Come for ribs and a beer, leave with a smile.

Lobster poutine was good. The price was cheap and there was enough lobster. A bit too much bisque in my opinion. <br/>The "côté levées" ,ribs, were extraordinary. The barbecue sauce was really good and the ribs are juicy. The sweet potato fries were crispy and well cooked. <br/>Love this place. Prices are reasonable. <br/>Must visit. <br/>

Very difficult to get a drink, server not paying attention. We ordered and ate our appetizer and had to ask another server to retrieve our server to actually place our orders for entree. <br/><br/>Bottom line...food is a wee bit above average (but you do pay for it) and service is lack lustre. As with any restaurant experience, the service can make or break he evening...it is broken here. The "it's busy" retort doesn't suffice in my book.<br/><br/>"Care for coffee and a sweet decadent dessert?" How the hell would I know, never asked me!

Good food. But it has happened twice that I go with friends, having made a reservation, and have to wait up to thirty minutes for a table. Both times were on Friday nights between 7-8pm.

Came here on a very busy Thursday night, yet we got seated immediately into a comfortable booth with wonderful ambiance. My friend and I ordered the chicken tenders, and the chicken ceaser salad and both plates were delicious and came quite promptly. Overall, we received good service and excellent food but the only complaint I have is that our server did not refill our waters or check up on as much as he could have.

Love their fried calamari and the ribs and their fries. however, service could be better. the first time i went was after shopping with my friend. we spent a loot. so i didnt know if i reached my limit and my friend too. when it was time to pay, both our cards didnt work. we thought it was our fault. so my friend had to go all the way to the atm machine somewhere to get some cash. ah and we waited AT LEAST 20 minutes to get the bill.. wtf? and it was her manager who told her to give us the bill because we looked kinda impatient. OFC. -.- second time the man was really friendly. third time, it was another man. we were looking through the menu, then he came and give us some water and asked us if we were okay. we replied with a smile: oh we are not ready yet. then he said: oh yea i know i just asked if you guys were okay. then for the rest of the night we had another waiter. some of them are really nice but others can be.. idk. but the food is great!

Consistently good. I enjoy coming here every time, but...<br/>Although everything I have ordered tastes good, the service is always friendly and quick, I just never crave coming back. It seems this is a place where we go 'There's always Baton Rouge' when we're trying to pick a place to eat. <br/>The seasonal Citrus Lobster salad was lovely, and the chicken fingers are light and perfectly cooked, the steak is always fine.. like I said, just never crave it.

Can't go wrong. You really can't go wrong with this place. Ribs are fantastic, baked potato is delicious. For a change, try the Sante Fe Chicken (with goat cheese on top); it's pretty freaking awesome. Service is always good.. the same waitstaff has been around for a while and they are very sociable and pleasant. The drinks are very good. I highly recommend the "Cosmopolitan"..Also, try the chocolate brownie.

Casual restaurant with good food. Nothing extraordinary but great when looking for great ribs. It is there specialty. The sauce is great and the baked patatoes that is an option as a side order are good. If you're looking for a middle price range, family restaurant this is what you are looking for. Also the service is good.
