Review Alati-caserta Patisserie - Montreal

So much variety and DELICIOUS pastries. You honestly can’t go wrong with anything here. The cannolis and lobster tail was flaky and perfectly sweetened! The mango and coconut mouse was also super tasty! Stop by here if you’re in little Italy.

Best pastry shop in town EVER. Super fresh products, good price and quality. Always variety to chose. I know about pastry and I can say that this place is one of the best in Montréal, for sure.

One of the best dessert spots in town for sure. Their Italian Rum cake and Tiramisu cake were heavenly. The Limon Granitas are a great summer treats. And their Cannolis, well the long line ups during most weekends are testament enough. Glad to be living near this legendary place.

The best Italian pastry in town, I really like their Cannoli, donuts and eclair! Coffee ice cream is the best in summer!

Been going to Alati for many decades. Everything is always so good and fresh. Yesterday, i picked up some Zeppoli, they were terrible. The cream was gariny, and the pastry was not fresh. FAIL

Soooooooo delicious!! It took me a lot of time to decide what I want! All of these treats look so yummy! If I lived here I would try a different treat everyday. Unfortunately, I could only chose a couple… The stuff that work there and the owner are also super friendly and sweet!

Literally THE best cannolis you can get in Montreal, if you come near the Jean-Talon market you must go there. Everything is so delicious! But also be careful there’s a lot of waiting outside sometimes because of the popularity of the location.

Tried this place three times... And their pastries are A-Ma-Zing! Sadly, I don't go there often since the service is cold and rude. I understand that they have a big volume and that they try to be efficient, but a smile wouldn't hurt. I was hoping it would be a one-off thing, but the service was unpleasant the three times I went. I'll maybe try again, I was maybe really unlucky the times I went... If you don't mind it, then I would totally recommend this place! Everything tastes so good and they have a lot of choices.

The best bakery in the city! My favourite is their limoncello, ricotta/chocolate and classic Italian cakes. Their amaretti cookies are to die for! Very pleasant and always smiling staff!

Best Cannoli i have ever had, even better than the ones on Mulberry St, NYC (little italy in manhatten). cheesecake is equally good, a gem right here in montreal .

Why not five? I found the desserts and cookies I bought a bit twoo sweet...and the servicecoudl be nicer, more politely...at least that was my experience.

I was there yesterday and I was so impressed by the selection I did not now where to start. I ended up buying two dozens of assorted pastries I just wanted to taste them all.

I've been going there all my life for cakes and pastries. It is the place for the famous Torta Regina & cannoli. Amazing!

Everything looked so delicious I couldn't decide what to get. The lemoncello cake was very good.

Rare bakery where everything is great. Try the casertina. The canoli is the best I've had too. Oreo cake is great for events! Thanks for years of great service!

I may be biased but this place serves not only the best Cannolli, Lobster tails with Chantilly cream ,tiramisu and the largest granita for just $ 5.00. A landmark place that has been open in Little Italy since 1968 , any die hard Italian or Italian wannabee should visit at least once in their life time. You will be amazed at the quality.
The bakery is old style and look like a scene out of A Sopranos episode, but lots of fun. In the summer, they have some tables outside where you can take a break and eat your favorite pastry. Great place to just relax.

If you happen to be in little Italy and haven't visited Patisserie Alati-Caserta yet, you must visit it.

This pastry shop hidden in the neighborhood is a gem for pastry and dessert lovers. It's obvious that it is a family run shop and I believe it's still hosted in their family house.

The pastries and desserts on display are just too beautiful and tempting for anybody to walk away without buying any even though I'm not a big dessert lover.

So I grabbed two of their signature pastries: the Cannoli and coda D'aragosta (dubbed lobster tail for its appearance). Both tastes great, the shell are crunchy and firm but not too hard or crumbling, and the ricotta and cream fillings are just heavenly and smooth, not too sweet, but the lobster tail is huge, I have to admit at the end I felt a bit fed up even though it's good.

Wished they have a a sort of tasting menu so that people can sample a little bit of everything. Definitely will revisit it to try some other pastries.

All those reviews and great ratings. They are all correct. Perfect canollis perfect mixture of filling and crispy dough. They are so fresh you will just fall in love with them

I became a fan of cannoli after having one at Bar Buca and the purpose of this trip was to get the cannoli from Patisserie Alati-Caserta, so of course I had to get one! Unfortunately I don’t remember the actual price anymore as it was the anniversary of the bakery and all the cannoli was half price off. With that said, I can assure you that the original price was definitely affordable considering the size of the pastry!

The cannoli here was super fresh and perfectly crunchy on the outside, not soggy at all. The filling was also nice and creamy – not too sweet. This is the true definition of a cannoli, not those flavored cream cannoli that you would find at grocery stores or food court.

Strongly recommended by a friend who lives in the neighborhood, and I love their cannoli! The cream is fresh and light. Not overly sweetened. The crust is crispy, but not oily. Definitely worth a detour while in the neighborhood!

In front of the church Notre-Dame de la Défense, you will find the Pasticceria Alati-Caserta, known for having some of the best cannoli in Montreal. My tip ? Buy a couple of cannolis, cross the street and go inside the church. Look at the ceiling and you will see a famous fresco by Guido Nicheri. You will be surprised.
Typical italian pasticceria. Fresh pastries, cakes, cookies and delicious cannolis that stand up to their reputation. Usually very busy. You can call in advance to have your order prepared.

Mouth watering treats! Offers a variety of pastries! Best ones we've tried so far are the cannoli and the coda di aragosta. They have cannoli with ricotta(one of the best I've had!) and also choco-flavored cannoli. The coda di aragosta (available in crema and ricotta) doesn't fail to impress! Cash only place though.

Definitely one of the best if not the best canoli's I've ever tried...

Old school genuine Italian american bakery!! Try fresh cannolli
De Bouche A Table
Une amie a apporté chez moi d’excellents cannolis! Je voulais donc partager cette adresse à découvrir dans la petite Italie. Souvent, ce sont des petits commerces qui cachent les plus grandes découvertes!
