A small and intimate restaurant with a good vibe. The best Lebanese food I’ve had. It’s rare I’ve been impressed by every dish I’ve ordered. The garlic potatoes are to die for. Highly recommend. I’ll be coming back here as soon as I can!

Had an absolutely delicious dinner here on a Tuesday evening and the restaurant was full so I recommend making reservations even for weekdays. The restaurant is on the lower level of an old building and is rather cozy inside.
We tried the baba gannoujj, kibbé, side order of fattouche salad, kaftan and shish taouk skewers. The baba gannoujj came cold and was creamy and especially tasty with the olive oil and pomegranate seeds. The kibbé was fried crispy and hot and stayed soft and fluffy inside. The fattouche salad was dressed perfectly with a bit of sweet and sour flavours from the dressing and pomegranate molasses.
The kaftan and chicken skewers were cooked perfectly over a charcoal grill. The meat was juicy, seasoned well and had a great charcoal aroma. They also serve it over a slice of pita underneath the meat to capture the juices, and a dressed slice of pita on top which was outstanding. They also serve you free pita which come in 2 pieces at a time.
The food was absolutely amazing and service was fast and attentive.

Fantastic food in a little downstairs restaurant. There isn’t a ton of space but we didn’t mind. All the foods we had were delicious. We especially loved the pastry plate and the steak

Wow. The best Lebanese food in town! Good prices and their fatayers with minced ground beef are really good. Their tabouleh is delicious, the yalanjes are even better! Even the hummus and the toom yummy! The bathroom is clean. There is of course a bathroom. The staff is really nice and we gave them a big tip:)) some servers speak Arabic too :) AGAIN, the food is amazing, you must try!!!!

Enjoyed the salad and the hummus and that’s about it.
The moussake (aubergine) dish was very salty - and I normally am on the saltier palate, would be great if they are not so heavy handed on the salt.
Their meat platter was mediocre and I don’t understand why the meat tasted so heavily of cinnamon. Am I eating a dessert meat dish?

Wonderful food. We tried the Turkish coffee, muhamarra and chilli shish taouk. Everything was extremely flavorful, well balanced and delicious.
It's a small-ish cafe with a beautiful ambience but just one server, who we felt a little bad for working all the tables alone. Quite busy with lot of takeout orders as well. Reservation recommended but they did accommodate us on the spot on a Sunday evening.

If you like Mediterranean flavors you should definitely try Garage Beirut at downtown Montreal. Great place to enjoy authentic Lebanese delicacies, especially the desserts and side dishes - they are impeccable. Try Muhallabia and Halloumi. It's a really nice, cozy place with great people.

the service was impeccable and the food...wow, authentic Lebanese not fast food, quality from the appetizers to the deserts and even the mint tea, must try

Excellent Lebonese food! The best moussaka we ever had. Fantastic authentic tabouli: mostly parsley green, flavorful and small amount of couscous.

The best place to eat in Montreal for Mediterranean food.

Excellent food. Really authentic Lebanese food. Place is too small though. Love the choice of music. Will def come back.

BEST KEPT SECRET - A wonderful place with lovely people. If you are lucky enough to be there when the owner is in the kitchen and are a vegetarian ( or want a veggie option) I STRONGLY encourage you to see if he will make a french fry pita sandwich for you. It is the one of the best things I have ever had. So impressed with a chef who went out of his way to create something not on the menu for me to make sure I had a good experience.

best lebanese breakfast ever in montreal, i'd go again for sure <3

It is so good we went there twice during our 5 days in Montreal. It's funny, because it looks quite humble but the food is very high quality and the service was excellent. Get the assortment of olives as a starter (only $2!). Loved the salad fatouche, the hummus, and more. They even came up with a Stella Artois for me. I assumed they wouldn't have any alcoholic beverages.

Amazing food and warm service...as my Lebanese hubby says, best Lebanese he's had (other than his mom's) in a long time. I'm not such an aficionado, but agree it was superb and authentic.

Food and service were excellent. Price is very reasonable. If you're around the area, I highly recommend chicken shish kabobs.

Food to die for. Wonderful and friendly service <3

Love this authentic restaurant.. You can't beat its shish taouk and the hummus and fattoush. It's a hidden gem in downtown Montreal. Certainly a must.

Authentic and delicious middle eastern food. If I closed my eyes I almost would not be able to tell the difference from my mother in laws home cooked food.

The food and the service was amazing. The waitress even told me how to make my favorite dish!!
