Review La Boulette - Montreal

We always have a great time at La Boulette! The vibe is fun, warm, and inviting. The staff is welcoming and the food is DELICIOUS. The fries and sweet potato fries are top notch crispy. The beef burgers are juicy. The fried chicken burger is super crunchy and well seasoned. The salads are large and full of flavor. And, when you top it all off with a nice beer…chef’s kiss.

Really good burgers, fried chicken sandwich and tartare, among other items on their simple menu that is sure to please. They also have a great wine list and delicious cocktails. The terrace is always packed because of how great the food. If you’re looking to grab a bite in Rosemont area and you’re craving a burger, this is the spot to go.

Service was really good. Salad was awesome. The burger was a little bit over cooked, but it was really good.

The food was absolutely incredible. I ordered the duck burger and it did not disappoint! It was flavourful, juicy, and perfectly filling! I would highly recommend la boulette to satisfy your next burger craving!

Average restaurant with average options. Don't expect anything fancy or particularly extraordinary. The food is good and so are the portions, pricing is fair for what you receive. Overall, we would go back for quick family dinner.

I would like to say this is the place I had so far the best Burger in Montreal! Juicy, delicious and fresh.

My group of five had dinner at this little eatery in the evening on a Thursday. There was a longer than expected wait to get in, about 30 minutes, but we did have a large party so I can understand that. Once we finally got inside, there was another wait for some customers to clear out (two women hanging around at a table for four, chatting, and the servers were too nervous to urge them along), which meant an extra 15 minutes before we could be fully seated. The servers came over almost immediately then to take our orders and were properly apologetic for the slow customers before us. I ordered a Classic Burger and my partner ordered the Chèvre Burger. Also at my table were two Chicken burgers and one Beaubien. The food came out almost simultaneously, less than a minute between when everyone got their plates, which was a good surprise to me. Weirdly enough though, they did not come to check on us again until it was to collect our plates. I was a little disappointed when biting into my burger. The patty had no seasoning. The lettuce was crisp and the tomatoes were juicy though, which was nice. I did not like their onions. I can understand that it's their basic burger, but the fact that it was a miss, flavor-wise, was a disappointment. I had a bite of the Chèvre Burger also ordered at my table and I found that the lamb, bacon, and cheese added a considerable amount of taste to the burger. If there's one good thing I can say about this restaurant is that the french fries are phenomenal. Extremely well seasoned and perfect temperature. Additionally, the mayo served on the side, of which I had the Chipotle and my partner the garlic one, is extremely tasty and a perfect pair to the french fries. I would definitely return to this little spot but I would probably go with a smaller party and I would definitely order something other than the Classic burger.

My favourite fried chicken sandwich. The size of it is crazy and it’s spicy AF! Tartar is delicious! Good small selection of craft beer. Love this place!

La Boulette est un des meilleurs resto de la rue Beaubien. J'aime y aller régulièrement depuis trois ans. Les tartares et burger ont plusieurs variés pour tout les goûts la portion est parfaite pour le prix. J'ai que du positif a dire sur ce lieu seul déception est le fait que c'est petit et lorsque les gens sont bruyant dans leur tons de voix ce n'est pas discret et on se marche sur les pieds pas beaucoup d'espace puis aussi qu'il n'y a aucune réservation possible en soirée. Pour un beau moment La Boulette est l'endroit idéal

Après une première visite mitigée, la deuxième a été une meilleure expérience avec un burger poulet au top. Ceci dit, je n'y retournerai pas. La raison ? Rien n'est proposé pour les enfants et dans un restaurant de burger... étrange non ? Ou une façon de se faire de l'argent en faisant payer un burger super cher dans lequel un enfant va demander à tout enlever, en manger la moitié ? Donc voilà, je n'y retournerai pas... Dommage

C'était ma première fois à votre resto. J'ai beaucoup aimé. La bouffe est excellente, pleine de fraîcheur. L'ambiance est cool et le service impeccable. Il y aura d'autres fois c'est sûr.

Beau petit restaurant. Service était très bien. La bouffe était très bonne! Bon burger avec excellentes frites et une bonne petite salade. Ma femme et moi avons très bien mangé. Merci pour ce beau petit moment!

The best burger and fries I have had in a long time. I wish they had milkshakes on the menu and it would be perfect but I would still go back.

La boulette est le genre de resto familial de quartier, alors le fait qu'il n'y ait aucun effort réel pour avoir au minimum un menu pour enfant est vraiment décevant. La dernière fois on m'a donné l'excuse que les pains sont frais du jour et qu'il n'y a pas assez d'enfants pour se faire livrer des petits pains tout les jours. Sérieusement?! La serveuse ce soir là n'avait d'ailleurs pas tellement d'empathie. Donc au lieu de payer 10$ de plus pour un plat pour enfant, on a partagé nos burgers. Je ne recommande pas aux familles. Allez plutôt à l'Isle de Garde.

J'ai pris le tartare de canard ! SUPER BON! Les frites sont tellement bonnes aussi WOW ! Par contre attente de 1 heure pour nous asseoir. Nous étions 4. À deux c'est plus facile de s'asseoir. Je recommande!
