Boulangerie Cheskie - Montreal - Photo album

Being an Indian, I had a completely new experience at a Jewish bakery. The bakery is always busy and you see people in line for their orders. I had a lot of products and for me, the babka was really a standout. I had seen a lot of reviews and really feel every one is correct..its just amazing. Seco
I saw some YouTube videos talking about how it’s the best Jewish bakery around. I got what they recommended. I tried their babka, too sweet. Tried the black and white cookie, too sweet. Bought a Swiss roll from there, no flavour and too sweet. Overloading something with sugar doesn’t necessarily m
Overall the sandwiches and pastries are decent. It can be very hit or miss depending on the person making the sandwiches. The customer service is very lacking. Especially if you're a person of color. If you don't fit in with the typical clientele, expect to deal with some rude customer service. It
Bobka was dried a bit, and too sweet. I love their small cheesecakes with chocolate on top. They also have something like Danish pastry with cheese (which is usually placed in the back and you may not see it) that is amazing CAUTION: if you are obsessed about wearing a mask, beware that in this pl
Ok, fresh products, fair price. Beware: see other reviewers mentioning bakery being closed random days & hours. Bakery was closed for half day when I went there first time. It wasn't worth 30 mins trip for coming back empty hand. 2nd time, I was in neighborhood, thought of giving it another try.
This place is waaaay overrated. It’s a solid 3 star quality. We got a variety of pastries. Eclair is not made with the right cream, croissant is terrible. There was another one with cream cheese which has a weird taste. It’s at best 3 star. They must have many friends to get the hight rating.
17$ for a babka that was just fine but not close to being worth 17$! My friend opted to not get a cookie at their crazy pricing. There are so many lovely bakeries in Montreal and I have no desire to come back at these prices.falafel st Jacques is 10.99 for one 3x the size
I got a spelt roll, onion poppyseed roll, and a loaf of seedy bread. All of them were delicious. The roll filled with cooked onion and poppyseed was really incredible, I would love to have it again.
