We heard about Au Pied de Cochon on a YouTube guide to Montreal, and went with high expectations which were exceeded in every possible way. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, she custom made a non alcoholic mixed drink for my pregnant wife, and all our food was prepared and plated expediently
To say that it's a rich food experience is an understatement. The Foie Gras Poutine was outstanding , as was the Roquefort salad, Whelks and desserts. The special fried pig's head with stuffed lobster was as delicious as it was decadent. Definitely need 3 people to take it on.

What an experience! Obviously a well known restaurant with a lot of hype but it did not disappoint in the slightest. The foie gras nigiri was one of the best things I have ever eaten. The duck breast was perfectly cooked and the peas were so fresh and flavorful. Would come back here again and again
