Love this small byow bistro. It was our first time here after hearing so many great things, and they did not disappoint. Service was prompt and amazing and the dishes were not only beautiful, they were delicious. We already made 4 more reservations and look forward to coming back!

An absolutely gem of a restaurant. The food was amazing and service exceptional. I had the table d'hote which consisted of the house salad, halibut main and dessert. The halibut was perfectly cooked. For dessert I had the lemon poppy seed almond flour cake with Blueberry coulis. Omg this was just so decadent and not overly sweet. My husband had the sweet potato soup and the salmon. He also enjoyed his meal very much. Our server was very pleasant and friendly. My husband loves history so got into talking about the history of the building the restaurant is housed in and our server, being ever so friendly, took the time to chat with us about the house. We had a wonderful evening at would definitely visit the restaurant again. Thank you for a great experience Bistro 1843.

Best experience we have ever had in a restaurant! It was well worth the 2month wait for the reservation! Cannot wait to be back! If i could put 10 stars I would. From the homemade bread to the feuilleté d'escargot, the velouté of sweet potato and ginger, to the delectable crusted rack of lamb, un mignon de veau with a reduction of brie and truffle and of course outstanding housemade lemon cheecake we were on cloud 9 rolling our eyes the entire time not believeing how incredible every bite treated our palates! Strongly recommend! Absolutely delishhhhh👌

Had a delicious house salad and fantastic Salmon plate, and the most mazing flourless chocolate cake with peanut butter ice cream!!! Cozy restaurant, great comfy chairs. Wonderful experience!

It was my third time at this French cuisine restaurant tonight, and it was still as good as the first two times! The food just melts in your mouth! One advice: You cannot pass on their dessert that is fully handmade by their chef! What a wonderful experience every time! And the service, there was just nothing wrong with it! 5 star through! One thing you should know: reserve! Reserve way ahead, this restaurant is full every night! I forgot to mention it's a BYOB!!!

Beautiful converted old home with old but elegant chairs and delicious comfort foods elevated by using fresh ingredients and home made everything (sauce, salad dressing, desserts...). The creme brulee I had was out of this world and made in house. The rib eye steak was sublime, cooked medium rare. And you may bring your own wine. How great is that?
