Review House Of Lam Restaurant - Moncton

Just since I've been here there has been over 25 take out orders go out the door. Won ton soup was wonderful egg rolls very tasty so far I am giving House of Lam a 5 star rating... Come sew for yourself you won't be disappointed.

Great Canadian Chinese food. There is a reason why they have been around for over 30 years. The chicken balls are very generous with meat content and they give you the option of different sauces. They also serve Cantonese style chow mein, (noodles) or Canadian style, (bean sprouts). My only suggestion for improvement is that I wish for the Cantonese style, double marinated, deep-fried chicken wings, the wings are braised here and they are tasty too.

Came here 20 years ago as a child on a family trip to the east coast and stumbled upon this staple of Moncton food history! We loved the honey garlic spare ribs so much that they lingered in my mind and popped up every time someone mentioned Moncton. I made sure to include House of Lam as part of our itinerary 20 years later, and I'm pleased to report that they taste the exact same! Excellent and legendary HG spare ribs!

Hands down, the best Chinese food in this city. Delicious, homemade egg rolls and sauces. The prices are much higher than any other place but I will happily pay their prices for the axing quality of the food. The friendliest staff too!!

I have gone to house of lam many years and never had order messed up or someone rude. Pricing 20% higher..We got home no honey garlic sauce and no sweet and sour sauce on chicken and spare ribs. I phoned restaurant. Man on phone said nothing no apology nothing. Never will I go back again Very disappointed

Worst customer service experience I've ever had.Placed our orde at 4 pm and was told it would be ready by 5. Arrvied at 5 and it wasn't ready. It was busy , so we didn't expect it would right out.Multiple orders had been sitting there along time and everyone working seemed to be confused. After 45 minutes of waiting they finally took our name and came back out 15 min later to tell us they gave our order to the wrong person but we could have their meal that was also a dinner for 6 with an additional dish that we could have for free but wanted us to pay full price for the order we had been starring at for an hour. Obviously we weren't about to pay over 100 dollars for a cold meal ,so we left.Ordered from the Rice Bowl and the order was ready in no time with no mistakes. RICE BOWL FOR THE WIN! Don't waste your time at house of lamb and your money.Rice Bowl was cheaper and food was amazing!👏

To be honest, the food was 'okay', pricing a bit steep for the size of portions. Otherwise, a very comfortable dining room and the service?..Attentive, knowledgeable,prompt and unobtrusive. Second to none!!

Egg rolls week bland...ordered 13..no real plum sauce..just packetts..place has been in business 40yrs should have real plum sauce..over priced as well..would not order again

Placed an order for delivery. I was told it would be 45 minutes to an hour. Finally got my food after 2 hours. That's unfortunate as it's my first time trying House of Lam. It'll be my last.

Our take out was atrocious. The Szechuan beef had a ketchup based sauce...what the hell! If I wanted bad Americanized food, I'd have gone to McDonald's.

I'd rate zero if I could ....Soooo unreal rude .. last four times we called over the year every time they were rude on the phone my mom called in rude and my mother-in-law called they were rude so not worth my money. Anyway make a long story short called last night they were so rude had to speak to the manger/ owner who is also just as rude but get this since calling last evening I have received a call last evening and this morning from a private number... this is the second day in a row the first message being idiot in the second message being a phone banging on the countertop .......so just for your information if you're reading this the person that's leaving these messages I'm saving them and will go further if it continues. Because PS You may think you're blocking the number but I have my ways

No better Chinese food in Moncton,or anywhere for that matter.Staff and service are awesome.

Love the House of Lam, but was wondering what kind of noodles were served with the buffet Sun., Feb. 23rd?

Eat there all the time, staff is great and food is always good.

Excellent tasting food and lots to eat. We ordered a couple of combo plates and took some back to the hotel with us. We will be back here!

We have been regular customers ( always delivery ) for about 5 yrs now . Always loved the food and service . We have had a lot of other Chinese food and thought house of Liam was the best . On the 19th of August of this yr an issue occurred .... It's was a Friday we ordered our normal and it was delicious as normal .... For some reason the last digit of the credit card never got put in ,so the restaurant send the driver back to redo it . My husband and I were on our patio after eating dinner , I looked up and THE DELIVER DRIVER WAS STANDING IN MY LIVING ROOM LOOKING AT US THRU OUR PATIO DOOR !!! My husband and myselfwere beyond FURIOUS !. we gave him the last digit of card and sent him on his way . I then phoned the store manager . I was told the delivery drivers are hired just to deliver and are not actually house of Liam employees . The manager did apologize and told me the OWNERS WOULD BE NOTIFIED . I was never called backed on this issue and have decided to no longer be a customer of house of Liam ... !! The delivery guy was 100% out of order and could have been charged not to mention scared the crap out of me . I wasn't looking for a free meal . I was simply looking for someone to take this issue as serious as I did . APPARENTLY HOUSE OF LIAM DID NOT ! �
