Review Spoon Sushi Express - Moncton

Portion sizing and individual piece sizing are smaller and less generous then other sushi restaurants in Moncton. Would place it in the top 25th percentile still. Very consistent, still taste good, well made rolls. Applies to both Spoon locations in Moncton, Lonsdale and Elmwood.

The food is very tasty The place is super clean The server is super nice and accomodating I ordered a korean spicy beef bento and I left full and satisfied. The server from 3:00-4:30 PM at December 8, 2021 is really super accommodating and nice. He's kinda cute too. 🤣

A small restaurant with very nice and tasty sushi. They prepare a very tasty, sweet-sour and home-made dressing for salads and different kind of sushi. We are always trying new sushi's restaurants and I can say that this is one of my favourites so far. Thanks. Ps. I went a second time to doublecheck. It is still my favourite.

This is the best sushi I ever had. The service was excellent and every different sushi seamed better the lase on... just great. We will make it a tradition to drop by Spoon Sushi every time we go to Moncton, you should do the same!

I am very sad the quality of the food at Spoon has declined so poorly. I used to love this place and recommend it to everyone even those that would come to visit from out of town ", before Covid" but since they opened the other one on Elmwood this one on Lonsdale has declining steadily!! The new woman chef can't cook house rolls at all!! Huge pieces of avocado overtaken the roll as my photos I took show. My daughter who used to love their house roll and only would get it literally gagged on it and tossed them in the garage because she couldn't take the taste and texture with all that chunks of avocado made it mushy, also when trying to pick up the end pieces it falls apart because it it rolled to loosely. If this was the first time this happened I would overlook these issues but sadly this is every time the woman cooks. Need to bring back the original chefs they were wonderful and the reason I didn't give up on the place until tonight this was the last time eating and wasting money on food that ends up in the garage. So Disappointing 😥

From my friends recommendations I desired to have a authentic japanese noodles bowl, so for just give a try I takeout spicy yaki udon noodles bowl for lunch. After having it I feel that they are delicious and best authentic japanese thick noodles I had till now. Staff is super friendly and service is also good. I WILL STRONGLY RECOMMENDED THIS PLACE.

This is my gf and I's favorite sushi place in Moncton. The food is always amazing, service is great and everyone is very friendly. I would recommend this to anyone who likes sushi. Ps Rock and roll rolls are amazing!!!!!!

Very friendly staff :)! They were also able to modify the vegetarian dishes to make them vegan for me. I had the Avo&Cucumber rolls and Big Veggie rolls (both delicious!!!). I would definitely recommend! :D

Just had a great lunch experience at Spoon Sushi. Never disappointed with the freshness of the food or the friendliness of the staff. Great takeout lunch of rock’n roll & California roll combo. Thanks again Spoon Sushi!

Can't say anything wrong about food but when got home noticed my order was wrong so I called and had said I wanted crunch roll and was told I was pointing at sunshine roll now why would my word be good enough and plus I don't even like raw salmon I had to pick the top off...not impressed

Exceptional food and amazing experience/service with every take out experience. Caters to our son's few severe food allergies with the utmost attention to detail. We used to live on the north end & moved across town, but we still make our way to Spoon for all our sushi needs. If you haven't been, you are missing out! Thank you Jinny and staff of Spoon sushi!!

Loved it! Great sushi, great miso! A little disapointed that there was no tofu in the miso and there was no complimentary tea offered to us with our meal. Will still be a returning customer next time we are in Moncton.

I had this sushi for the first time on Saturday and I can't stop thinking about it. Bands down the best and freshest I've ever had. That spicy mayo sauce!!!!! So delicious!

To tell you how good it is, today will be my 3rd day in a row ordering my supper from there. Excellent food, and such friendly staff. (I highly recommend the Fire Rolls or the French Kiss Rolls!)

This is possibly the best sushi I ever had!!! The staff is very friendly and very accomodating and clean (having an avocado allergy). I recommend this place all the time!
