Pretty nice place, although not particularly cozy or unique on the inside. They have a nice pastry section and their coffee is pretty good. Breads all look and smell fantastic, and they carry a few Brazilian products as well (food and home goods).
Went in and had coffee. Try out a sparkling passion fruit it was very good. The tarts were excellent too. Atmosphere was relaxed and seating was spacious. Staff was fine and brought our coffee to the table.
They have amazing pastries and coffee. I had a double espresso and my partner a latte. Both tasted and looked fantastic; didn't taste burned at all. The Portuguese tarts are fantastic. It's a very comfortable atmosphere and the staff were very helpful and polite. Will definitely visit again!
Great bakery. The cod cakes are delicious. Busy at times. We like that it's a personal small business. Good selection overall, love the lattes. The staff work hard and try their best.
The Brad and cakes were very good.
The staff are very friendly. Would be nice if all front attendants speak Portuguese, this could make the place more Home.
We went there for the “coxinha” and rissoles.
The tasty was great. The only thing was when you warm this using microwaves.. make the texture and flavour different... maybe they could keep this warm after deep fried.
We ended up here the other day when our local bakery was closed.
We ordered a bunch of croissants and to our surprise, two of the choclate one's were not in the box, something else was. Despite being uoset at the time, we brought them back the next day and the lady apologized and gave us the right one's plus 6 of those delicious custard pastries.
We will come back again because of how they handled the situation.
And if you're wondering, the croissants were delicious. The almond one was a big hit and so were the chocolate one's too.
I've lived in the area for just over a year and this establishment has been one of the finer points of living in the Erin Mills area. After reading some of these reviews I was shocked to hear that the customer service was anything but exemplary.
I have never been video taped (which seems ridiculous) Other than the extremely busy times I've never really had to wait for my order at all. Catherine and the gang have done an amazing job with serving customers and have gone above and beyond time and time again to make sure every visit for myself my guest and other patrons to be of the highest quality.
I can't speak highly enough about this bakery and its hardworking courteous staff. I would highly recommend it to anyone i know.

excellent experience. had an expresso then selected my bread and a custard cake for the road home..who said service with a smile? well you really do get that here..just remember sometimes it is busy and worth the wait.
I have had lunch here many times over the course of a couple years. They are consistent and always pleasant. They make great fresh tasting sandwiches and have a small lunch menu basic bra/porto style. Some fresh breads and froze goods along with the typical pastries. But unlike a lot of similar places, B.B offers coxinha.. soo ya..
great espresso coffee as well.
Good assortment of desserts. The people serving seemed to be a bit busy, but well behaved. Took two items, one was stale. Otherwise, food quality is good.
