Review Applewood Delicatessen - Mississauga

this location is typical of longo's supermarket format. i find longos to be overall a good place to buy groceries, but doesnt have as much seafood

Ordered food for a celebration of our 50th wedding anniversary. Everything from start to finish was excellent! Service was above and beyond expectations and food was all excellent. Lots of pleasant service when we picked up our order on a Saturday morning. Even had young man Josh help us to the car in the pouring rain! Can't say enough good! Thank you to everyone at Longo's. The Attwell family.

The store is clean, lots of options to choose from and the quality of the food is decent for the most part. The bakery is great and I always find myself picking-up more treats than we should eat when I shop there. Staff is mostly good, my only complaint is sometimes a group of staff will stand in the front chatting away with each other and block an isle. You'd think it would be kid workers but it's the adults and it's annoying as they should know better. The prices here are very high so it's best to buy produce, meats, and buy the boxes/bagged foods from another store for much cheaper. Despite these complaints I'm still rating it as a 4-star because the food quality is really good here. Unlike another store I go to for the cheaper prices, I've never gotten sick from the meat or found my food to be expired or moldy/rotten when opened.

This Longo's is located in a quiet neighborhood just off the QEW highway. It's got plenty of parking and the plaza it's in has a variety of stores. The staff is friendly and the selection of healthy products is huge. I did purchase the wrong cooking oils and Longo's processed the return very quickly and easily. I enjoy shopping here for all my needs!

I'm always in this grocery store because I love how fresh their produce is and their steaks are always priced nicely. I also love all their Italian sauces and pasta selections 🙂

Spotless ✨ clean supermarket near Dixie and Cawthra exits from QEW. Impressive selection of organic 🍏🍐🍊🍒🍋and 🍅🥒🥔🌶🌽. Organic 🍞 and 🥖 at the bakery. Nice selection of 🎂 and 🍰and pastries. Starbucks licensed store with ample seating and friendly barista. Beautiful fresh 💐 and good selection of 🌹 at the flower shop. Lots of prepared meal options, fresh sushi. 🧀 selection is out of this world. Very friendly and cheerful staff. No line ups!!! Very clean customer bathroom and 🚽. Lots of free parking. Fast WiFi Wheelchair accessible entrance, wheelchair friendly store. Handicapped parking.

I enjoy shopping here. The store is smaller but it’s in a great location. The staff is friendly, so I like to grab a coffee at the Starbucks and take my time shopping.

One of the nicer longos layout and bathrooms upstairs well kept but know your prices. Produce is always good relative to bargain markets. Tgeirbin house labeling is also cheaper than known brands but they been to add food ingredients lists and amounts on most items so best to ask if you have Sodium and sugar etc concerns

Nice clean supermarket, competitive prices. Very nice staffs, willing to help with great knowledge. Fresh food available here. There is a Starbucks inside as well.

This has been our go to grocery for the last 2 years and they are consistently meeting our expectations. And we also love Lucy she is a sweetheart and super friendly!

I shop there regularly. The only problem is I don't like is the fact you have to bring your Longos card for the points it's not integrated with anything else. How many loyalty cards can somebody be expected to carry around ? Also this place could you some light music for more ambiance as it's so quiet.

awful,,, dirty ,,, rude owners .... will never ever go here again .  im surprised this place is  still in business after finding maggots in the chicken ....horrifying experience today when my daughter quickly notified us that there were white maggots in her chicken. we notified greasy slimy owner who in turn quickly told us that he only has the freshest chicken and that it was our tupperware that contained the maggots LOL. he gave us no apology and us feel like it was our fault.....like we hit the jackpot for the 8 dollar refund. Now i understand why this place never has fresh chicken available or always in small quantities.....its because they never throw out at the end of the day....re use same food next day ...hence the white maggots.....after i notify the mississauga health inspectors this place will be shut down....and to the piece of shit owner who could only talk down to me in limited conversation {probably out of embarassment} i give you this advice......its ok to make a mistake but to not apologize and then make the customer feel like its their fault is totally inexcusable.... you will not stay in business for long "my friend" i will give my business to reputable businesses like Marios, Bairrada, and Farol ....
