Review Pho Fuzion - Mississauga

Tyler D
Went here today, ordered Pho Dac Biet (house special pho) and shrimp fresh roll. Broth was tasty, beef slices seemed fresh. Noodles were overcooked and very mushy, the tendon was also overcooked and was almost liquified. Basil was slightly wilted but sprouts were fresh enough. Fresh roll was ok, a little lacking in flavor since it was just lettuce, rice noodles, and shrimp. Peanut sauce tasted artificially sweet. I don't normally write reviews after only one visit, but I don't plan on giving them another chance. Service was also sub-par, I definitely didn't feel like my business was valued.

Had dinner with my brother-in-law and his family last night at this venue. The food was overall good, the atmosphere and the decor was quite nice as well. We (4) were the only customers there as it was close to 7:45 when we arrived and everything went well and uneventful. The ending was a bit disturbing though when the tab was delivered. Granted, my sister-in-law who was treating could have let the waitress know that she needed separate receipts for her expense account. Having said that, it must also be noted the tab was delivered before she asked for it. In all fairness, it was getting near to closing time but there was a total lack of professionalism on the part of the server when she literally yanked the tab and the plate it was on from my sister-in-law's hand and muttered unintelligently under her breadth. She was fuming and by the time she got back to the cash register, she was in fact screaming shrilly though not directly at us. However, when my sister-in-law went up to pay and also in an attempt to explain, the server yelled at her in the most unprofessionally manner that I have had observed in the hospitality sector. I found the outburst was totally unjustified given the fact it was only a small request and a routine one at that. We were polite and courteous the whole time we were there and the only interaction we had prior was asking for a refill of tea during the dinner. I have been to this restaurant with my son on a number of occasions and had mostly pleasant dinners and lunches though nothing earth shattering. The experience last night was nothing short of shocking, not to mention disgusting in the least.

First time here, good Chicken Noodles Soup, no MSG, not Salted. My wife like her Shrimp Fried Rice, service is nice. Decorations look nice. We will come back for sure.

We weren't super hungry and we ordered a large pho special soup and spring rolls, they questioned why we ordered so little 5 times. She stood there just watching us as we confirmed that was all that we wanted. When we got our soup it was sour (not to mention the tea was odd tasting...) the rolls tasted okay but didn't make up for their horrible service and attitude. They didn't give any bowls to us and the two workers just sat in front of the tv laughing to themselves. I was trying to wave them down to pay the bill and after my hand was up for 2 mins, I said "excuse me". They only replied with "yes" without standing up or anything. Never coming back again and I feel for anyone that comes in here to test their luck.

Went here yesterday at around 730pm. Ordered rare beef pho, server brought over my pho but with no bean sprouts. I wanted bean sprouts thought it was standarded when ordering pho. They old me they didn't have anymore. Wouldn't you have told me before I placed the order? They made it seem like I was asking for a lot hey were rude. I will never go here again. Horrible customer service.

Have been going to this place regularly for over 4 years. This is hands down the best Vietnamese restaurant in the GTA. I have tried many different ones but this is fantastic. No MSG and I have even gone with a Vietnamese friend who also loves this place.

The food was super salty and bland. It came out too quick, which was scary. The lady was nice but we won't be coming back.

Just came here for first time ever even though I live in the area and place has been open for a super long time. When I went inside I was taken aback by the beauty and emptiness of the place. The couple who owns it had just sat down for a bite - felt like a jerk for coming in and making them work. Guess it was a slow night? They were very friendly and I used the washroom which was clean while I waited. The wait was not long at all. What I really wanted was tofu not so much the noodles - which is exactly what I found ended up happening. I loved the tofu a lot but the noodles not so much (which was a plus for my stomach fat). I really enjoyed the way the tofu was cooked I could eat a whole plate of that next time. What I asked for was vegetable pad Thai with tofu but only got tofu in it ? Cost 11.00. The tofu was amazing even the texture and everything but the noodles by themselves were superrrr spicy. The sauce on the tofu actually made it taste really good and I didn't notice any hotness. Next time I will literally just get tofu with the pad Thai sauce and call it a day. I didn't wait long at all! It was made quick and the whole way home all I could smell were peanuts as there were many sprinkled on top. My dad ended up eating the noodles as he lovessss spice.

Had the BBQ chicken pho on this cold snowy day. Sure hit the spot. Service was fast and restaurant was clean. I usually like to visit a place a few times before I rate it but so far so good. Only criticism is the soup was slightly salty.

Pho Fusion is our choice for vietnamese take out food, the quality of the food is very good for the price. We occasionally eat in the restaurant, the service is friendly and quick.

Delicious food. Their soups are just fantastic and so are their portion sizes. Their chicken fried rice and curry chicken with rice are two dishes you don't want to miss!

Best Bowl. With apologies to all the bowls of Chinese wanton noodles and Japanese udon I've had in the city (and there have been many), my favourite bowl of noodles is the "bun bo hue" at Pho Fuzion.

The bun bo hue-style noodles have a pho base, but the folks at Pho Fuzion replace the rice noodles with rice vermicelli and add a spicy beef stew to it. The stew itself doesn't add much taste-wise, though it adds a lot of richness, and a thin layer of orange oil on the top of your soup is an unfortunate side effect. More welcome are the tender chunks of beef, thin slices of Vietnamese sausage and a sizable chunk of pork hock. A pleasingly chewy piece of beef tendon also slips in every now and then. The bowl is, in short, a symphony of meat--meat, skin, tendon and fat--and a great vessel for fresh chili sauce, fish sauce, scallions, and whatever condiment or garnish you care to add.
