I've been coming here ever since it first opened. In fact, they know me as the Mr. C8 (my favourite dish on the menu). When you go to a lot of these places, you have a certain expectation, but Empire Wok is one of the few places that actually blows the expectations out of the water. I love this place, and will keep coming back 😊

Under average food, ordered C7 combo the only thing that was good about it was the sesame chicken. We also ordered beef with vegetables which was the only good thing out of the whole meal along with the regular steam fried rice. Last but not least we ordered Shanghai noodles was too spicy and flavourless and the noodles weren’t even traditional Shang hai noodles to add to the previous order of C7 the sweet and sour pork was flavourless and all bread no meat. When we write these reviews please really take it into consideration. *at least the beef was decent*.

Honestly cant write a review about the food because I never even got it. So this is more the staff and service. I ordered my food over the phone from a lovely woman who took down my order. We confirmed the time I would pick it up, LOCATION, and then I hung up. When I arrived at the restaurant to grab my food it was not there, no record of it being put through at all.
Which can be excusable, we all make mistakes... But the next part was jokes, because I was made to feel bad that my food wasn't there. I was yelled at by the guy at the front because my food wasnt there. No responsibility at all taken by the restaurant, and because I had to go back to work I couldn't wait for another order to be made, nor did I feel like it after being made to feel bad about the restaurants screw up.

The past few times I've been disappointed because there is more batter then meat. Today took the cake. I ordered a combo and my almond soo guy was literally a block of batter with barely any chicken inside one piece and none at all in the other 2. Please note what you are seeing in the picture is all batter on this one piece. Never again.

I can't recommend. Service is fine but food and prices are not good. For the money you could do Mandarin and its way better.

I wish I could give this place a 0 out 5 stars. Literally the worst food I've ever put into my body, the hot and spicy wings tasted almost rancid. And were literally covered in dry chillies you get at the store, like you would use for pasta. The almond soo guy, was hard as a brick and the rice was atrocious. Will not recommend to anyone. Also the service was god awful. Please avoid.

2017/05/17<br/>We've had better, and we've had worse. So let's mark Empire Wok as average. This was a spur of the moment decision as we passed through the neighbourhood and had to find something reasonably fast for dinner. For speed, it met our needs; we were in and out in 30 minutes. <br/><br/>It seems like most of their business would be takeout. They do have a few tables, as well as self serve plastic forks and knives. <br/><br/>We ordered the General Tsos Chicken and the Beef with Snow-peas. The portions were decent, and the beef was tender. The Chicken had some heat, but was a bit too syrupy for our liking.

Awful; even for cheap Chinese...the general Tao had no meat whatsoever...just deep fried dough. Other dishes similar...very cheap on the meat and vegetables...slivers of broccoli etc 90% bean sprouts. Save yourself time and money and order from somewhere else.

Great Chinese food, generous portions, Lily is always very pleasant and fun when you go in. Even though I live I'm Port Credit and this place is in Clarkson, I'll take a bus for this food versus going to the places near me.
