Review New Seoul Restaurant - Mississauga

Very cozy and not too busy, which could be good and bad..our family of five ordered a variety of dishes, the hot tofu soup and Kimchi stew was great! Dynamite roll and chicken teriyaki were tasty as well, I recommend getting the raw fish bibim bap. To top off the tasty dishes, the older waitress was so friendly and constantly checking on us. Prices were reasonable, and we'll be coming back!

Edit: Closed as of Aug 19, 2018. Not sure if/when they reopen. Best Korean you can get without diving to the other side of the city. While they serve both Korean food and sushi we have not tried the sushi. We come here for the Excellent Korean. The Kangpungi is particularly good here. Service is good but it is on the pricey side.

Server was very nice and fast, she was constantly coming up to us asking if everything was ok. The food was delicious and the setting is nice.

Great high-end authentic Korean food at well decorated and spacious venue.

I have come here for sushi, Korea pork bone soups, bento boxes, both for lunch and dinner many times. Every time was good. Food is fresh, well prepared and great tasting. The service is also excellent, the owner comes by to ensure that everything is to your satisfaction. It's the place I go to when the sushi or pork bone soup craving hits. I've recommended this place to my friends and family.

If you have craving for a Korean food, visit this restaurant. When me and my daughter went, it was only two of us. Probably because of the Family Day Service was fast and the food was really good. They have big selection of sushi as well, but I didn't try it yet. I went for the pork bone soup.

Their side dishes are amazing, so much more selection than any of the other Korean places in Mississauga. They offer Korean dishes (hot don't bowl, pork bone soup, rice cakes) and some sushi trays/boats. Quality and pricing is about the same as owl and soeul house but I prefer going here for the side dishes. Service is friendly and quick. Really good place for satisfying a craving for Korean food.
hello summer
I ordered pork bone soup. The menu clearly said it has potato in it, but I didn't find even little piece of potato in there. The pork bone is not fully cooked, it was very hard to eat the meat from the bone. The is the first Korean restaurant I've tried that pork bone is not even accepted. Believe it or not, the price here is even more expensive that a lot of other Korean restaurants. Would never go back.

Don't go here is my recommendation. I was really excited to see a new Korean restaurant open up in Mississauga. This restaurant also came recommended from a colleague and after seeing some google reviews I wanted to try the restaurant for myself. I was very disappointed. Beef soup lacked meat and was flavourless. Pork bone soup lacked flavour also. Dynamite rolls were ok. Overall, DONT GO HERE. Prices was also steep.

SAVE YOUR MONEY AND DON"T COME HERE!!!!!

If there was a zero star rating I would choose it. I have been going to this restaurant for a couple of months trying to tolerate their horrid service, and rude behaviour. Their food through the weeks I have came to this restaurant have been smaller and smaller. I have been going to this restaurant from between 1-3 time per week. The taste and the freshness of the food is not that bad, which is why I tolerated it so long.

Today was the last straw that broke the camel's back.

The Manager or the owner of the restaurant, who is an older korean lady is not rude to the face, but she does gossip and make fun with the other staff. The one that really boils my blood is the chinese woman named anna who wears a jade bracelet. Her customer service skills SUCK. For me good tips are given for good service. IF your service sucks then you will get a not so good tip. If you don't give her a good tip(I never gave her a good tip because her service always sucked, but I did give her a tip each and every time approx. a dollar) then she will ignore you, ignore the dirty dishes on your table. I had to beg her to bring the machine to pay. So she then plops the machine infront of me and leaves to go back to the next couple booths down to continue to gossip with the sushi chef saying that I asked for more tea and they both laughed. I paid, took the receipt and left. When outside, she chased after me and said that she needs the receipt, when she could simply reprint it off the machine. I gave her the first receipt that I was holding and then she said no the other one that is not for the customer. I didn't give her a tip this time because she was just over the top rude and HORRIBLE. I told her that I didn't give her a tip because she completely ignored me. She said for me not to come back, when she is simply just a waitress and is a nobody. I just walked away from her anyways because she is not worth my energy to argue with.

You will have to ask for everything: tea, more napkins after the first one that is given that wraps the cutlery, call her to order, call her to ask for dessert, and call her to pay. Today she walked away from me when I was talking to her. I was asking for another napkin. She walked 6 times past my finished and dirty bento box. She never asks if everything is ok. She never says thank you for coming or even thank you when I pay, she doesn't even say bye when leaving.

The staff asks so many personal questions about life..who is this..and who was that. They really know how to harass someone. They even asked me how old I am!E

They gave fruit many times but then after the first month they stopped. Perhaps it was just out of spite because I didn't give a good tip. But really they started the awful cycle. The waitress Anna lied saying that there was not fruit being served yet when the manager came around I had asked for fruit then the manager gave us the fruit.

The 3rd or 4th time I went there she didn't offer cold tea. YET she offered cold to the next person just because they were Korean, and obviously they were trained by the manager to favourtize Koreans because they assume that Koreans will spread a good word about them if they do a good job. But that doesn't mean it gives them the right to discriminate.

The 3rd time I went there, Anna kept screwing up my order. She gave the excuse that the cook didn't understand English. Instead of apologizing. Obviously she doesn't understand English.

Their washrooms are not wheelchair accessible, nor is it possible for anyone who isn't a size 3 to be able to enter the stalls.

I am taking the time to write this review to warn everyone to not come here to waste their money and time...and most of all to save them the horrible experience.

I was excited to see a new Korean restaurant opened but all the dishes lack flavour and prices were steep compared to others in Mississauga.
