Little Take away joint on Terry Fox. Tasty food at very good price. We got Idlis and Set dosas, liked both of them...Coconut Chutney was very nice too. Will sure come back and try some other stuff they have.
Lunch Take Out Reviews. I have visited this place umpteen number of times. We have had masala dosa, veg kottu roti, string hoppers and rarely lunch "thaali"
The masala dosa is good, Kottu Roti is good as long as you him not to add too much oil and string hoppers are good as well.
The lunch thaali consists of tons of rice (white or red) and 4 or 5 veggie options. There is no way I can finish that much food.
If you want very good quality go elsewhere. Value for money and relatively cheap eats, this is the place.
Cheap and Great. Annapoorna's getting-stuffed-on-great-food-to-expense ratio is extremely high. This counter service place serves excellent Sri Lankan food for dirt cheap. An heaping portion of basmati rice gets a serving of meat curry (I like the mutton) and three vegetable curries (they change daily). It's enough food for two, but who wants to share? Add in a crispy and soft vadai and you're still not cracking $8. The biryani is also excellent. Easily my favourite South Asian place in Mississauga.

Quality and quantity of food is great for the price. Its is worth waiting, if you want fresh quality food. There are not many restaurants which can match the quality of Annapoorna.

Came across this takeout restaurant through the Too Good To Go app for a ‘surprise bag’ meal and was thoroughly impressed! Amazing varieties and portions, really flavourful and very friendly staff. Would definitely recommend and return here for more.
The food are very delicious. Made fresh and items are very reasonably priced. You can order according to your spicy 🌶 level. They prepare the items on the go and they can tweak the spicy level. They are takeout only anyway and they are respecting the COVID protocol with only 3 people at a time in to order. We ordered our food and waited in the car and it was ready in 7 mins. Highly recommended!! 😋
