Review Pita & Grill - Mississauga

Felt like having shawarma for brunch but most of the grill spots open really late. Came across this place and loved it, they’re open really early in the morning and provide anything from well-prepared, well-toasted shawarma to crispy falafel. Will definitely visit again to enjoy their great food by amazing staff giving good service 😊

It wasn’t busy when I went to the restaurant, Place might need a little more of detailed cleaning especially the floors. Air vents in the ceiling is dusty, I understand that this is a family restaurant but this areas of the restaurant are important and will give impressions to all of their future customers. Service is fine, food is okay- $$-price

I highly recommend Pita and Grill, and in particular this location! We had a charity event and needed a large order of chicken shawarmas catered. The owner/manager were both easy to work with and provided us with top quality service! On the day of the event the order was delivered in a timely manner and the food was of the highest quality. I have been to this location before as well and am never disappointed! Their ingredients are fresh, meat quality is good and consistent, and the wraps and platters are always prepared with quality. I look forward to my next visit whether for myself or for an event!

My dad was coming here since I was a kid, and now I come here with my husband. We always get the chicken shawarma platter, and always mention how delicious and fresh it is. Rice is great, chicken is great, garlic sauce is great, the Greek salad is great… honestly everything. A hearty meal you feel good about eating at a great price (around $12 each). I also recommend the grilled chicken platter!

I found HAIR I my food. This is 9$!? I should've known by the old looking sign. I wish I went to the Tum Hortons next to it.

The food was just ok and the customer service was terrible.i asked the worker to put extra white sauce and he declined to do so and showed so much attitude.

Love this place. Love the Gyros! My Brother also loves this place as well my mom, she loves the Souvlaki diner as well chicken swarms diner. A must stop for a foodie lover. Sorry no pictures, I was starving and attacked my Gyro.

A good place for shawarma near me so I come here from time to time and the foods are fine in general. They have a large space for dine-in so a bit of attention would help more: customer services, cleanliness (not bad at all but can be better)

Pita Grill has great food at a decent price. They seem to be very customer service oriented. The meat is cooked perfect not dried out. The other ingredients are good quality and they don’t skimp. Perfect place for a quality lunch cheaper than a value meal at a fast food place.

We stopped in for lunch. Looking forward to going back and trying other dishes. Can't remember being this excited about a pit place. I had Chicken Shawarma . Delicious , fresh and when I looked at it did not think I could eat it all but it was so good. Finger licking good.

For me it's always a hit or miss with shawarma's which is what I typically order at Middle Eastern restaurants . Ordered two mixed shawarma's and a small box of baklava. I found the female putting them together was totally mean and they forgot to put the baklava in the bag. At which we reminded them and they said it's $4 but we said we already payed and they said just take it. Won't go back food is ok but the pita bread should be thicker.

Had a pretty disappointing experience here.

I've been to the larger Pita and grill in Mississauga(closer to Dixie), and found the food there to be excellent, and when I realized there was a closer one to my house, I thought I would try it out.

Unfortunately this Pita & Grill was very sub-par. The chicken was dry, and the garlic sauce was bland. Service was bad, and the restaurant had a damp smell.

This location only accepts cash & debit, unlike it's sister stores.

Excellent shawarma serving breakfast as well. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The serving sizes for the halal shawarma plates are huge. They aren't stingy on the wraps either. The half and half shawarma is a must try.Sana

came here just now for food... the walls and the ambience of the place are very pretty but also Greek themed and I swear it's an Arabic spot- I mean the walls would be perfect for a Mr. Greek but I guess to their defense souvlaki is also on the menu. So the service was really good- the guy added humour which I like.. most people are too serious these days... and the reason I chose to come here is because the advertising from street view really works- the place seems inviting. It's super clean inside and there are people during the lunch hour however it's not unbearably busy like other places! just not completely empty either. I got a coke zero with my falafel. I got a falafel with lettuce, tomato, tahini and garlic. The guy literally put 2 tomato slices inside like are you kidding me? I had to ask him to put an extra 2 slices. The falafel itself was mediocre at best- didn't love it that's for sure... but veggies and pita were fresh. I realized it was the falafel itself that I disliked, as eating the rest without it was pretty good. Their tahini seems a little strong too- but they put enough sauce in there it was good. I am trying to be released from the reigns of LAZEEZ shawarma which is why I always try new places but I'm always left disappointed. Lazeez is the best there is and they set the bar VERY VERY high! I think I'm addicted- and I think that nothing else compares in my eyes :( I know it's not fair but maybe if I didn't eat falafel from lazeez (credit view and brittania location) I wouldn't dislike this one. There must be some kind of spice in the falafel ball itself at this spot that tastes off to me but I wasn't a fan and mixing it with coke zero left a horrible after taste in my mouth after. Maybe I'm too harsh but their shawarma is probably amazing as that is what they are more known for.

Like the chicken shawarma. I like it because it's big and has a lot of vegetables I really like that pink thing - very tasty.
Good value meal!!!
They are not rude but you will not make friends there. You order , eat and carry on.
I don't mind it I go there to get what I want not to bother someone with my problems :)

Was gong to eat there but refrained due to very rude owner/manager.. I had come to Mississauga to get my car serviced at the Honda dealership down the street and visited the Tim Hortons next door to pita and grill. My cell phone ran out of batteries and I asked the employee here[pita and grill] if she knew where there was a pay phone and she said I could use there phone.I thought that was a nice gesture on her part and considered me and my mother having lunch here.

I was on the phone with Honda and the owner/manager of pitta and grill very rudely and abruptly stated that he had only 1 phone line .My god what a hostile man.

Never got to try the food and lost my appetite due to this mans poor service skills.

I did enjoy theTims though.

Do not go here!. The chicken and lamb shawarmas are greasy and the cooked meat is served weeks old, the restaurant also has horrible employees, i went there yesterday and ordered a Shawarma, the employee was angry because i just put one item and badgered me trying to fit a bucket of tomatoes into the item, i went there today and ordered just onions, the employee then badgered me again trying to have a little fun, i told him that this isn't customer service and he was laughing, the worst part about the indecent was when he said that he was the owner, i do not think that anyone should go there.

After going to Pita & Grill many times, I was infuriated to hear that their beef sausage that I'd had many times was not halal when they'd said it was. Being a religious Muslim, I was outraged that they'd lied to their customers. Food is over priced, staff is okay, ambiance is average. No sense of differneciality. Would much rather go to watan kabob!

The cheesy steak sandwich was not that great. I didn't care for the taste at all. The burger was cooked from frozen so it wasn't anything special either. The only thing I enjoyed was the poutine. This place wouldn't be worth returning to again.

Very good location .

Their food does feel fresh any time, unlike some shawarma places that give bad old food when restaurant is not busy.

Yummy, great quality and portions .

Great selections of meals and sandwiches to choose from .

Very recommended , don't mind going everyday.
