Review Sam's Pita & Grill - Mississauga

Chicken Shawarma: some type of fusion. Not bad, but not what I was expecting. Quite salty and heavy on what tastes like either curry or cumin. Veggies were basic. 40/60 meat to veggies. Overall a decent sandwich but definitely nothing remarkable.

I went understanding that it is family business and we need to support them in tough tough times. I called ahead and inquired about veggie platter and they confirmed that it is 10.99. I saw they reviews and thought of worth visiting the place. I went there around 12:45 PM and they were little busy. I ordered veggie platter and to my surprise it was 11.99. That's fine. I ordered take out, so they stated filling my container with garden salad and added 2 regular size falafel balls and added some hummus and other sauce. Other lady then took over the container and asked me for rice options and she added a piece of potato and closed che container. I was surprised as she did not add any veggies to it as I literally ordered veggie platter. I asked and she said she can add if I want, really. If I haven't asked for That's all I was getting for 12 bucks?? I asked to add all the veggies available and she literally added 1-1 piece of each. I was shocked to see the serving size. I went to my office and started having lunch and it was so dry and very hard to swallow. I had veggie platter from different places before but this was not good at all and not worth the money. I personally do not recommend this place for veggie platter.

Ordered chicken on the rocks from this place. They filled a white container box with less then half the quantity of rice spreading it evenly to make it look like it’s filled. Even the chicken was undercooked and hardly any there. Have ordered from this place before and never been this disappointed.

The schwarma was pretty good here. There were the standard toppings available and the quality of the meat was very well. Large amount of meat and decent size for the price. I was happy with my meal.

Delicious shawarmas. Love the food and the staff is great! Love it so much I hired them to cater my wedding. Update: the food at the wedding was INCREDIBLE

Mississauga, Ontario This is a nice place to have lunch. It is clean & spacious. There are many food varieties to choose from. Lebanese specialty. I had the chicken on the rocks with yellow rice & it's delicious! The staff were friendly & courteous too. I will be back again.

Great food and prices! They have a great selections of salads and pastas for their dinner plates.
