I found Lazio Italian Bakery by chance on Maps and so happy that I found this gem. The most delicious slice of vegetarian pizza and tiramisu dessert was purchased here! The highlight was the $8 price tag for lunch- reasonable for the portions.

If you're going to any other bakery you're making the wrong decision. The hot table is fantastic, the catering is amazing, , the gelato is fresh and made in store, and all of the baked goods are to die for. The Italian panini buns are actually legendary. When they bring them out hot they are crispy outside, fluffy and light inside. The best in the city. The hot table is great too and the staff are very nice.
Although I’ve lived in the area for a while, I unfortunately only started coming to Lazio over the past few years. Everything that we’ve bought from them has been amazing. From their fresh baked breads, pastries and cakes, and hot bar, everything has been delicious and fresh.
