Review Panera Bread - Mississauga

I’ve been to this Panera Bread location twice. What has been consistent is the quality of their sandwiches. They are quite small and to me, not worth it for the value. You’re spending anywhere from $6.99 + tax for a half a sandwich to $14 + tax for a whole. Nothing is a deal at Panera. To be honest, the only reason why I went in was because I was sent coupons that knocked $2 off each sandwich. The cold sandwiches are poorly made and wrapped. I don’t know if it’s always like that or it depends on the sandwich maker but because the bread on my sandwich was wrapped around the center instead of it being placed like a traditional sandwich, I most likely won’t be back. The toasted sandwiches are decent but again, are very small. The customer service is great (shouts out to Leah) and the cleanliness of the restaurant is good as well. But based on my two visits I’ve come to learn that Panera Bread isn’t for everybody, and that includes me unfortunately.

Well this branch in particular is consistent in services and Taste of all things in menu. Not to miss wen u pass Eglinton w and Erin parkway intersection, located opposite Erin mills parkway meaning ease of access with plenty of parking spots and shopping joints. Enough of seating inside and on patio. Interior looks losing the freshness maybe interior were touched and polished long time but the painting makes place lively. Apt for having chit chat over coffee, apt for meetings since this place is never loud or crowded (moderately filled most of time). Hygiene is well maintained, lighting gives u sense of dynamic vibe , pricing however is little bit on higher side. Some of the things in menu like soup and sandwiches may look either small serving or moderately presented. Staff is great and dynamic over all this place doesn’t disappoint.

Came in for my usual French onion soup 🍜 it was good. However, I was surprised to have come perhaps at a wrong moment. The manager was a little upset and sounded very rude to her employee. Otherwise the overall experience of dining was excellent. The restaurant is clean and all 😀🙃

Similar to Starbucks but with a higher cost, large variety of sandwiches to choose from, they also carries different type of pastries, the time I visited the place is 90% full, atmosphere is casual and relaxing, no table services you order from the front and was given a disc to notify when your orders are ready for pick up

We had the full tuna salad sandwich for a brunch which was enough as quick bite for two. It was very good and comes with chips on the side. Very clean, bright and spacious. Very friendly staff and you get a buzzer for when your food is ready. Register online to their rewards program and you get a desert item for free. Not a big deal but nice.

I have been here several time and every time I have the same observation, the manager is so unfriendly and rude. He keeps on checking on us every ten minutes just to make us uncomfortable, so we make the decision to leave.

I had the Italian sandwich and my wife had the cream of Tomato soup. My sandwich was okay but completely overpowered by a parmesan mayo. I could barely taste the other (quality) ingredients. The tomato soup was very tasty and made gluten free by removing the croutons. Nice atmosphere and friendly staff. But man get rid of the parm mayo. Country loaf had a burnt crust which permeatedcthe entire loaf. Extremely unappetizing.

The best dark chocolate cookies I've had in GTA. Do not miss if they're available. Lots of other stuff like Bagels, Soups, Salads, Sandwiches, Coffee and desserts. Plenty of parking. Free wifi and good place to spend an early morning or lazy afternoon. This is located in the Erin Mills Town Center compound near Walmart.

I love Panera bread.....convinced my company to use them for business lunches but today will be the last time. Order was to be delivered at 12:30. Executives from a number of companies were here for a meeting from 9 - 1 which was to include lunch. 12:15 they called and said it would be here by 12:45. 12:45 no lunch so some left for another meeting and to grab something to eat on the way. Driver arrives 1:10. We ask for compensation expecting that we should not have to pay for such poor service. The catering manager instructs her driver to take out food while standing at our reception. Surely they wouldn't sell that food again so it was worth it to remove a sandwich to do a refund and loose a customer. I think something is wrong here. I guess we are looking for somewhere else to get sandwiches for our meeting of 300 in May. Can't run a business being over 1/2 hour late....get a taxi or send a manager out with the delivery or compensate with free food......worth keeping customers.

Got a sandwich and it did taste really good, the size of it for $10 however was a joke. Was small and would have cost me $3 to make at home. Food tastes good but it costs $30 to feed one person.

I have loved Panera bread since I first tried it a few years ago. I have not tried one thing there that I do not like. I am a huge fan of their green goddess salad, highly recommend it. Unfortunately, my last two experiences to the Erin Mills location have been rather disappointing. My last visit I ordered the Green Goddess Salad and they were out of avacodos. It was the middle of the day and I would think the manager should be going to a grocery store to restock in avacodos. The salad is not the same without it. So I didn't get my salad. My daughter had the kids Mac and cheese meal with an apple and the apple was squishy and bruised, seemed like it was dropped a few times before we got it. I ordered a soup on this day and was told they ran out of the soup. I went today and asked for the pick two with the tomato flatbread and they were out of flatbread. I took the advice and tried the same flatbread but on a bun. Then I asked for a bread bowl of broccoli soup and was told they were out of bread bowls. They also forgot to give me my baguette for my pick two and I was offered to have the apple cut for my daughter and of course that was not cut either. I have a membership card and I go at least once a week. But I continuously find this location constantly running out of things. I almost feel like i should be calling every time to see if they are out of stock on the things I like. Pull it together, start to order more product so you can serve your customers. Not impressed Panera.

I came in here specifically by name as one of my favorite bakeries. I'm on a visit to Toronto with family and I felt like having a morning coffee and cookie here.

The place is well kept, but can tell that it's been around the block for a bit.

The service was great.

This place is always busy and the speed of the service - well it isn't speedy. If you're willing to wait in the line, the treats are really good. My fav is the pecan braid and the toffee cookie is yummy too. Remember to sign up for the rewards. For my birthday I received a free pastry. I chose the cinnamon roll which literally could feed four people. BTW don't read the calories for the items. You won't eat anything if you do :)

I don't get the hype. Food quality is good but potions are small and prices are high.

Service at this location was a disaster. Cashier was not friendly or polite. The wait for 1/2 a turkey sandwich which was not even grilled/heated was 20 minutes and this was at an "off time" 9:30 pm. There seemed to be a lot of staff working in prep but it clearly was a disaster. The staff seemed very slow and disinterested. A woman, who I assume was the manager or owner, was clearly frustrated with the incompetence of her staff.

I won't be returning and I cannot recommend this place to anyone.

Not As Good As Expected.. This location of Panera Bread just recently opened up therefore, I thought I would give it a try with a friend. I walked in and I noticed that it was quite crowded; it was Tuesday at 1:00 pm. There were quite a few people looking for tables; many of the cashiers at the front were commenting on how people should take their food to go since there were no tables available. I had to wait for about ten minutes before a table opened up. I then waited for my friend to arrive, at which point we ordered our food. I found the prices of the meals here to be very expensive, and they were much smaller than at other Panera Bread locations. I ordered the Tomato Soup with a Chicken Focaccia Sandwich and a bag of Kettle Chips. That cost about $12; I found it quite pricey as the soup was in a very small bowl, the croutons inside were stale, and the sandwich was only a half. Also, the bag of chips had about 10 chips inside. I found that this location also didn't have very kind cashiers. The one who helped us seemed annoyed and didn't even provide a cup to my friend for a drink. I know this place is new therefore, I will give them a break however, I just found their food to be mediocre and their service not to be the best. I would give this place another try as I was able to get a $10 gift card for bringing in a menu from the mail during their opening month.
