Review Clarkson Bar And Grill - Mississauga

Loved this place, would come here again. So seating was done easily as currently it is first come first serve basis and they allow dogs, on patio, yay! So we ordered the fried avocado, crowd pleaser (image), Rib Eye steak, Chicken fingers/tenders, Quesadillas, and the cookie with ice cream dessert. The CROWD PLEASER DEFINITELY pleased the crowd (we had 5.5 people) as it came with Nachos, onion rings, Wedges, wings and Garlic bread. Every component of the crowd pleaser was wonderful and delicious as the wings were crispy but saucy, the garlic bread was flavour and crisp, and the onion rings with fries were also crisp but thick. The only cons I would say about the shareable is that the wedges were a bit on the burnt side (and therefore you taste it) and the nachos along with the wedges had a good amount of toppings (the Jalapeños were actually spicy) however it lacked a good amount of actual layering throughout the nachos body and there wasn’t enough cheese. The FRIED AVOCADO is something new and so we ordered it, the taste is like a creamy taco with a hint of avocado, delightful. The RIB EYE STEAK was nice however i had to ask for a steak knife after receiving it, it had too much fat for my liking, and it was REALLY salty, however the mushrooms that came on top were a great addition. The CHICKEN TENDERS were as any other restaurant, and the QUESADILLA sure did pack a punch of cheese which is what is needed in a quesadilla :). The customer service was nice as they were dedicated waitresses and also nice. The patio has a nice atmosphere with a fireplace. And the music that is played is great! Definitely worth the experience!

This place has incredible food. The kitchen is doing miraculous things because the food taste heavenly. I would come here at least once a week to fill my belly that's how good the food is.

I've been in a few times to Clarkson Bar & Grill on my own, and a few times with family. The first few times I felt that something was lacking and it didn't quite live up to what was there previously. Lately though when we've gone I've found that the overall quality of the food has improved immensely, and it is a better experience every time. The nachos are consistently well done. Tonight ours had some shredded cheese that hadn't quite melted, but they were still quite good. The sandwiches that we had were enjoyable, and my wife very much enjoyed the tomatoe bisque soup tonight. It was nice to see that the menu had been redone and simplified, the previous menu was a little difficult to follow. A nice spot, great to sit and enjoy time with the family (especially when they have the magician), or to watch sports. The staff are amazing and are consistently in a good mood. We hope to continue to see Clarkson Bar & Grill do well as there are not many places like it in the immediate area.

We have been here twice now and both times were excellent! No wait time to be seated. Food was yummy. They have great appetizers as well as mains. Nice cold beer in frosty glasses. Decent wine for a reasonable price. Far better than the Turtle Jacks that was here before. Staff are friendly and efficient. Special shout out to Manuela who is the best!! Give it a try. You won’t be disappointed!!

Food is always on point. Josie the server was fantastic, even with 4 kids with us who all wanted something different. Kristen, best manager I have ever met. You need more people like these 2! *order their wings and calamari, you will not be disappointed! *

What a fantastic place to eat. Took a hockey team and parents. Over 50 if us. Great food. Great service. The owners were walking around checking on us and helping the servers. Very accommodating and friendly staff. And to top it all off, the owner donated to the team towards the cost of the next tourney. Trust class acts. Support this local business!!

Excellent service and food, good portions too

Just had the fish and chips, boyfriend had the beef dip. So good and fantastic portions. The staff were super friendly and quick. Fish batter hot and crispy, fish moist and full of flavour. So awesome, cannot recommend this place enough.

Dropped in while looking for a place for lunch. We were blown away by the food. We had the Deep Fried Cheese Curds and those were delicious. Seasoned and fried to perfection. Then we had the Nachos with Chicken and the Stuffed Ravioli (Braised Beef option) and both were delicious. We will definitely make the trip back here.

Food is great. Everything I’ve tried so far has been really well made and not just a frozen bagged meal reheated. Nachos, wings, and guacamole is fantastic. Vibe is great on patio. I don’t understand why people are disliking this place in previous reviews. The service has also been really good, no complaints there.

I had the Cajun chicken sandwich and it was hands down the best sandwich of my entire life. The seasoning on the chicken was so tasty and the chicken was cooked to perfection, a little crispy on the outside yet still very juicy. The only downside was that I had specifically asked for no cheese due to an allergy but the server forgot and they had to remake the sandwich.

Great food .... great service... every Thursday they have fantastic specials... they also have a magician every Thursday and Friday nights he was amazing our kids loved him and so did we! Sylvia the waitress is lovely and very good at her job... the food is really good. Seriously blows pump out of the water. Don’t judge a very tacky sign by its cover and check this place out! It could use a bit of uplifting interiorly but I get they probably need to attract more business to do that but otherwise well done guys!!! Keep up the good work and very good quality bar food!! Btw also love the band that plays every now And Again there. - the B string! We will keep coming back!

I had a lovely experience at the Clarkson Bar and Grill! The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was very inviting. The staff were so friendly and nice, making the experience that much better. They had a great selection with regards to the menu, with options and accommodations for dietary restrictions. I had a great time!

Just ok. Preferred when it was a Turtle Jack’s. Food was expensive for the quality we received. Kids’ meals were disappointing - both cheese pizza and Mac ‘n cheese were not heated through enough, so that the cheese wasn’t even melted. Don’t think we’ll be visiting again.

Amazing food! So glad that they replaced Turtle Jacks! We ordered the fish taco, quesadilla and burger, delicious !

MAR 17: St. Patrick’s Day music event starring friends Maxine Young and Christina Melanie at the Clarkson Bar & Grill. Very welcoming venue with fine food and friendly service. Thank-you, Kristen! Many friends from near and far were in attendance for a lively evening of M&C favourites and some sing-along Irish tunes. It was an occasion to remember!

Food was excellent, our waitress Helena was great. Will definitely visit again!

Had the fontina cheese dip and it literally tasted like they melted tex mex cheese in the microwave. Poor quality. Over priced. Will not be coming back.
