Review Pho Hung - Mississauga

This is even better than the downtown Toronto location, since it tastes as good and the portion sizes are impressive. My wife was also very pleased with her noodle dish. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying out more things on the menu.

Portion's big for its price. Tried the pho, vermicelli, and rice, all tasted good. Also got the wings but there were so-so. Got a lot of vegetarian options as well.

Update: consistent as 3 years ago :) Standard prices for large portions. Friendly service, clean tables and restaurant. Beef pho and the shrimp curry on rice were both tasty. No complaints, but not super exceptional, either. Good place to drop by for lunch or dinner

This is my go to for Pho. Delicious broth and awesome service. Both their summer rolls and fried spring rolls are the best. That being said, they've decreased the menu offerings from precovid, which is understandable, however I hope they bring back the old menu offerings.

Came at 9:30pm on Weds. night. #41 Vermicelli bowl w grilled chicken, spring roll, shredded pork. Had to wait a while. All food was made so fresh! Crispy tasty spring roll. A large bottle of the delicious garlic fish sauce w carrots was provided!! Not the tiny little bowl of sugar water that other places give you. Great service. Very clean. Will come back w my family next time! Thank you!

Delicious. Cheap. Great service. What more can you ask for. Got the pho with beef ball and brisket and a side of deep fried spring rolls.

It was our first time trying this establishment. A family run business, it was busy enough with half capacity, as it was an earlier dinner hour (approximately 5:30). We were greeted with a friendly smile by a lady who might be the owner. My family thought food was good enough and would return. We had pho special/pho dac biet, rice and pork chop/com suon nuong (not broken rice, just regular jasmine rice btw), fried cha gio (pork and vegetables), bun rieu (crab meat vermicelli noodles) and goi cuon (fresh shrimp rolls), and an avocado smoothie (sinh to bo). Rice and pho dishes were good but I would not order the bun rieu again. Bill was $89 tip included. Pandemic inflation standard prices these days, however a bit less pricier in comparison to other Vietnamese restaurants.

Horrible service and even worse congee.

Ordered the chicken congee. Was given a watery chicken soup with very little rice. So I asked for more rice and was given a tiny sidebowl of "congee" that still did not have much rice. Told the waiter I wasnt going to eat it. The waiter just said "ok" and walked away. Restaurant still charged me for the "congee" that I didnt eat at all.

Never coming here again.

Also: an anonymous reviewer on another site mentioned that the restaurant owners don't share tips with the waitstaff. Would explain the bad service. Definitely not eating here again if that's the case because that's just wrong.

Although the food is consistent and good I as a frequent visitor was harassed by the owner each time I asked for wooden chopsticks to use in the restaurant. I was told to "bring my own" if I wanted wooden ones?!?!?! I confronted her about it stating I had been coming there since they opened and that it was a poor attitude to have towards a customer seeing as they give you them on takeout meals! I have moved my lunch business to their competitor around the corner where they pleasantly oblige my request for wooden over plastic chopsticks.

I love this place, the food is so good and I don't think I can ever get bored of it. Have to love the cold tea in the summer! The price is super good and the broth is just perfect!

Experience to forget. Went there with other 4 people and after waiting a long time to order, they just forgot my order. They broght 2 orders, other 2 after 15 minutes, and nothing more. My order was similar to one delivered first, so they could have made 2 of them easily...I suppose. But they did a lousy job. Don't worst a try. I believe many other vietnamese restaurants would be gratefull to have my money. I did not had my dish and they did not care....

Have to pay extra $4.00 for sharing a extra large bowl of noodles!!. Food was good, service was terrible!

Ordered extra large bowl of noodles ($9.00) to shared with my wife, like we normally do at other Vietnamese restaurants. Waitress came by picked up the order, only to come back a minute later to tell us we either need to order 2 small bowls, pay $4.00 extra if we want to share the extra large bowl! (is that even legal?) Or order their spring rolls for $4.70 and the sharing fee will be waived. We took the spring rolls.

The waiter came with the order a few minutes later, but it was not an extra large order, had to tell him we ordered extra large. Came back with the extra large order, but no sprouts. Waited for them, never came, had to flag the waiter down and ask for them.

Needless to say my wife and I is never coming back to this place, even though the foods tastes pretty good.

Good food, portions & price all reasonable. We had dinner tonight at this location. I admit the young server is not as friendly as the older lady. She was so sweet & helpful with the menu. We enjoyed #8 #19 #51 & the deep fried bananas. Also enjoyed the vietnamese style coffee w/ sweetened condensed milk. I love strong espresso & this was very strong even w/ the milk. The food was all flavourful. Portions were perfect for 2 ppl. Still had a bit of shrimp left over. Id recommend giving it a try.

Horrible service. The food is good, but one of the servers was ridiculously rude. Considering that I am a fairly regular costumer, I was appalled to hear, for the first time ever, that I could not take my pho home (as if I was going to anyway). Not only that; she would walk around asking costumers if the food was good, but I still can't wrap my head around why she didn't ask my family, funny because we were the only vietnamese people in that section... Naturally I asked the owner as to why she only told me that I couldn't take my meal home and the owner said she was just being polite and she meant that it would no longer taste good if I ate it at home, but I am well aware that is not true because if it was why wouldn't she offer the same advice to other costumers? That's a bit of a stretch because it wasn't offered as advice, she implied that we were cheap enough to anyway. I would strongly recommend going to pho mi asia across the street.

The pho is fairly good- could be a bit more flavourful though.
Usually order 06- well done lean beef pho- with 08a- a spicy chili sauce.
Also tried the sate beef and stir fried mussels in black bean sauce- both very good.

Dont eat here. This Pho is totally different from the rest of vietnamese restaurant in mississauga.

Soup broth smelled really bad!. We ordered rare beef soup and the broth smelled really bad even after adding tons of hoisin and hot sauce. Spring rolls were not attractive either. We didn't even touch our food, paid and left!!! Not going back.

Cheapest Pho in Mississauga... Only reason I goto this place is because the price is cheaper than the rest and the portions are bigger compare to the others. I think it's your average Pho place taste wise.

Nice Staff!. I know this is a weird comment for a pho place, but I got take-out today and the staff was awfully nice, offering me a spot to sit + tea while I made my selection/waited for my food!

My grilled chicken vermicelli was delicious, with the chicken being seasoned with some tumeric and other spicy that added a kick.

I've dined in as well and have absolutely no complaints about the food...all good!

Some of the menu items are as good as Spadina location. The tripe and tendon soup was not as good. Hopefully this will improve.

I was impressed! The meat was tender, and they aren’t stingy (other, unnamed chains are not so generous). But my favourite part was the broth. It was very flavourful – so much that I didn’t even need hoisin sauce. Just a little Sriracha on that bad boy. It was pretty greasy, but I honestly have not had any pho that wasn’t greasy so I wasn’t complaining.
