Food is amazing...huge line up confirms that. Haleem yum! Nihari yum! Lahori fish fry Zabardast! Only 2 things i would recommend - add some salad to the dishes to balance and the waitress waz in a rush and never queried if we liked tge food. But those are juzt minor things! Would love to come back.
Server Khalifa was awesome... ps: he speaks Urdu.. owner was very welcoming and took out feedback like a champ... all in all great atmosphere, great food from nembo pani to lassi, behari roll, chicken garlic, haleem and most amazing chai... great food great fun and a true atmosphere. Music was also amazing.
Great work everyone we enjoyed the company and now I just have to run a few ks extra... worth it
Great place. Chicken strips and garlic fries are very tasty. I recommend all of the sharing platters, the mango shake and lemonade. The wait was nothing since it was 5-6:30, try to get there early as there’s no booking. Staff were swift and food was quick. A very cool and stylish place, there’s nothing like it locally.
Clean and tidy place, food was delicious, service was reasonable and comparable with other restaurants, table was available for 2 persons because it was a bit early evening. I recommended my children to visit the place and taste fish, chicken, paratha and falooda. I liked them compared to green chicken and garlic fries.
I went for dinner to this place with my family, and I totally loved the environment, food, Gola Ganda (dessert). The staff was really friendly, especially KHALIFAH who was very friendly and respectful. Thanks For the excellent service. We will definitely come back to this place.
Awesome place loved it !!!
Food portion size and prices are good !!!
Jazzak Allah for complementary iftaar with a refreshing drink !!!!
Keep up with the good work !!!!
Loved the place. Vibrant ambiance, delicious food, amazing presentation, great customer service. The place was packed way past midnight. Perfect hangout spot to chill at.
We went all the way from Ottawa. Excellent food. If you are looking to have nihari this is the place to have it. And the server khalifa was awesome. His Urdu impressed me so much.
Authentic Pakistani food so close to home. Great service, super friendly and attentive. The food arrived quickly and hot. The Biryani is excellent and so was the Nihari. Everything served in traditional dishes. Given that it as a Tuesday night with a line out the door, the wait staff and kitchen handled it all in stride. Keep up the good work!
Halal, Pakistani food. We ordered
- Butter chicken
- Bun Kabab
- Tandoori naan
As hungry as we were on our way back home from a long trip, this was so fulfilling and quite delicious, just what we wanted so i give it a 10/10. I loved everything from the food to the interior. A dim cozy atmosphere.
The food tasted perfect and quite honestly, better than what I expected. Bun Kabab was so delicious and presentation on point! I’d definitely go again!
Laari Adda is a really peppy place with quirky ambience & fine dine pakistani cuisine with a modern twist.. Great place to visit with family & friends.. They do not accept reservation so there is a minimum 20-25min waiting.. A verg nice reservation tracking website which gives you an exact idea of your waitlist number.. A very Special mention to the guys serving who are extremely friendly, warm & welcoming..
We had gone through their facebook page before visiting & had an idea what we would order..
1- Chapli burgers were served with a portion of crisp chatpata masala fries were a super hit.. the chapli kebab patty was juicy & not overtly spicy!
2- Chicken Tikka Boti- This was served on a sizzler plate & were melt in mouth.. every bite was a burst of flavours in our mouth.. I am a bit skeptical about tandoori items as most of the times they are undercooked or over.. but this one gets a 10/10!
3- Mazedar Haleem- This dish is hard to conquer..sometimes the lentils arent mashed properly, meat is undercooked or the spices arent upto mark.. but i must say this place does justice to what a haleem should be.. though i woulve prefered it be a bit more spicy but that just me.. otherwise this ones a winner.. to go along with ordered the puri paratha which was good.
4- For Desserts we went for rasmalai which was nice but the star of the evening was Kulfi Gulab Jamun.. Rich, creamy & nutty kulfi topped with a piping hot gulab jamun.. this is a trip to heaven & back.
Overall a great place to visit again & Vfm too..service was quick & spot on.. Good luck team Laari Adda!
We got the nihari, naan and bun kebab which came with fries. Everything was tasty, the meat in the nihari could have been softer but the gravy was really good and naan was soft. The bun kebab was good- very on par with bun kebabs from Pakistan, and masala fries were great. Decor was beautiful and we waited less than 5 minutes for our table which was great. I came 3 years ago and the wait times were insane but now we got our table, food, and bill all within a reasonable time.
Laari Adda has very nice decor and over all good vibes. However they gave us a table right by where they place their Uber order so that servers kept brushing past the table over and over again. It felt a little awkward but I understand since they were packed. We ordered a nihari, 4 naans, chaat and lemonade. The nihari had 2 pieces of beef and lacked salt. It was also a little too spicy for us, but it tasted authentic. The chaat was okay same for lemonade. Nothing to rave about. Our server sargoon was great. Really nice and attentive. I feel like I caught them on a off day but I want to go back and try the Haleem so I will update this.
Update:
I tried their haleem and fries and they definitely deserve more than 3 stars. Although nihari seems to come in a smaller portion, the portion for haleem is just right. It tasted great too ! This place is definitely worth a try if you are in the area.
Visited this place after a long time. Ordered bun kebabs and chaat paapri, shikanjabeen and chai. Everything was spot on, the ambience is good, bunkebab actually tasted like it does in Karachi. Chaat paapri was also flavorful, chai was karak. The portion size could be better compared to prices but overall good experience of halal Pakistani street foods
5 start customer service! Very uncommon for Desi restaurants tbh , not one but all the staff was so polite and helpful. The wait time is always long here but it’s worth the wait, food was fresh & good ,nihari, bbq tikka and even the Chana daal was so good. Naans are the best in town.
Tried their Gol Gappa Shots and Chargha wings. Gol gappa shots were a bit expensive but were actually quite good both in terms of taste and experience. The taste of wings was just average. The staff was very friendly . Service was quite fast and the dine-in room has quite a good vibe.
Upbeat spot offering Pakistani food with a modern twist. The customer service is top notch with fast service.
We ordered Gol Gappa Shots, Masala Chicken Wings, Nihari with breads and Dum biryani. The food was on point in terms of taste, quality and quantity. I had a very satisfied experience.
We were taken care off by Ayma and she did a great job serving us on our visit.
Very nice ambiance. Service was great as well. We tried club sandwich with masala fries, butter chicken, haleem, lamonade(Sikanjabeen), and Til Naan. We loved til naan and masala fries.Butter chicken is better than most of the places. Everythingelse was good but nothing extra ordinary.
