Kaoi sushi used to be good, until recently it changed the owner and named Moteru sushi. However, the website details and phone number remain the same. I was expecting the same quality from new owner, however the spicy salmon roll is really disappointed. It used to be slices of salmon and reasonable amount of spicy mayo, but today my take out order is a disaster. The maki roll is stuffed with “minced” salmon, salmon was chopped into tiny pieces, I can feel the sour from the flesh, it’s not fresh, although it still covered with lot of spicy salmon but still can’t hide the unfreshness. I used to be the regular but I don’t think will go back to the new owner again.

By far the best and freshest sushi I have had. I’ve tried multiple sushi locations in Mississauga and Moteru Dundas location always wins in us returning for more delicious tasting sushi. Hidden gem but definitely our go to spot that doesn’t disappoint. Even when a mistake was made in our order, the manager Rich was accommodating to fix it. Our favourite sushi spot! 👌🏼

I ordered the medium tray which is a suitable potion for 2-3 people. it tastes absolutely delicious ! Staffs are super friendly and nice. i really like their fast and great customer service. Highly recommend!

We decided to order a medium party tray last minute on a Saturday night. The platter was ready within 30 minutes. The sushi tasted amazing - so fresh. Will definitely be going back! 10/10

Kaoi Sushi has never disappointed my taste buds, or hurt my wallet. The staff is always friendly and inviting. They have a 10% discount if you pay cash, and rewards if you sign up (at the front cashier). The photo attached is the 5 special roll party tray which we get every time! (Hot lady roll, rainbow roll, funky town, double dynamite roll, and yum yum roll) total $50. Delicious!
This review was based on the previous owners under the name Kaoi Sushi. Have tried Monteru Sushi once after owner switch, personally prefer the old owners quality. 3 stars reflect the new changes.

Very good quantity. The soft shell crab aka spider was really good. Overall value for money. Location is inside the chinese center sino mall food court. Worth the Monday spent. If u are in the area worth a visit. Had the special, spider and California.
Update: don't ignore if owners have changed but it not as good. The soft shell crab was no more crunchy. It was just soft. Become average.

I’ve always received friendly service here and depending on what I order at the counter, it’s quick. Phone in larger orders is the way to go.
