Went in today for the "free sandwich" . Great way to attract new customers! I was quite impressed with my "free" veal sandwich. It was very tasty and flavorful and not heavy and greasy like some others I've had in the past. And trust me, I judge my veal sandwiches!! I will definitely be a returning, paying customer :) I highly recommend this place if you like a good hearty Italian sandwich that's actually worth the money.

I really enjoyed my sandwich today. Ordered a jr chicken sandwich to go, only waited ~5 minutes before it was brought to me. Wrapped well and cleanly (no sauce everywhere), and the sandwich was great! I loved how thin the chicken was, the sauce, and the jalapeno spread. I will definitely be back!

Really disappointing! The original location on Mavis was a great experience. White chicken meat for the sandwiches. As well you could get a combo with chips and a drink for under $10. Now, thanks to the added cost of their expansion project, On A Bun has passed those cost off on to the customer directly. Whether it be in the way that they have eliminated the combo and now it costs $12.50 for a regular sandwich with only cheese on it ( which is an extra as well) and a pop. Then you get the sandwich out and after biting I to it you see nasty looking dark meat. So they took away the good product they established their name with and cut spending costs while jacking up the over cost to the customer. They say there is a first time for everything... well I just had my last time being fooled into being one of your customers. Pic of brown meet sandwich to follow.

Amazing deal on the pasta combo! And delicious, huge fan of their spaghetti with meatballs. The cashier even brought me my takeout personally to where I was sitting, super friendly. Will definitely be returning constantly with those pasta prices.yummy!

Ordered the steak sandwich which cost over 10.00 ca and its just ok. You get 5 small round slices of meat cut to the exact size and the thickness for each slice is about 3mm. It comes with a few sauteed onions and the hot peppers are mashed into a green paste which is not hot at all. California sandwiches are a much better choice. The service is good. They will pack everything in separate containers so you can put the sandwich together at home. I like to do this cause it saves the bum from becoming soggy.

I had a late lunch here today. They weren’t busy (only one other customer ahead of me) and it was very clean and tidy inside. They have 8 different sandwiches as well as some other items. It took about 6 minutes to get my chicken sandwich. It was delicious.

Fabulous Jr. Veal Sandwich - kind of expected something less but got good value instead. Also had their pasta special with a canned pop - great value there too. May try their regular sandwiches when I am in the area again. Edited September 21, 2019: Location now closed. Too sad to see it go. In its place will be a burrito place. Under going renovations now.
