Review On The Bun Burgers - Mississauga

These burgers are wonderful. They have a unique spin to them, you don’t really find burgers like this anywhere else. My fav is the apple butter burger.

Burger was a bit dry, but the masala burger was very flavourful. Still a bit dry and the buns are too doughy. Bun to patty ratio should be better. The super fries supreme was fantastic though. 5 stars for the loaded fries and 3 stars for the burgers.

I went in around lunch time thinking I would get the combo of the day, however this place no longer does that. It's been a while since I last visited so Idk when they stopped doing it. But since I was here anyways I went and bought the masala burger with fries and dined in. The food itself, no complaints. Both fries and burger were perfectly seasoned and well cooked and for the price of around $13.50 with tax (which includes a canned drink) which is comparable to other places, I was satisfied. And from some pictures, it looks small, but the burger was actually filling. I was full with half my basket of fries and the burger and brought the rest of the fries home. However, I made the wrong call getting the masala burger because although it was a great burger, all it was is well seasoned. I wanted a more unique taste/experience and for that I feel like the Salisbury burger or apple butter burger would've been more in-line with being a unique burger experience. So if you're going, try that instead of the masala burger. I hope they bring back their daily lunch deals too.

Without a doubt the best burger I have ever eaten, and I have eaten a lot of burgers. You can tell this place cares about their craft, they care about their food. On top of that the owner Mohamed genuinely made me feel as if I was at my friends place. The service is perfect, and the food, out of this world.

I have been going here for more than 5 years and its is honestly the best burger place. I always get the Apple Butter and Stack Supreme and it never disappoints. Everything else is also super good and they have great service.

Absolutely incredible taste! My husband and i were so hungry we decided to give this place a try and we will definitely come back. I got the Salisbury Burger and asked them to make it spicy and i was not disappointed at all! Husband got a basic cheese burger which was not basic at all. Definitely 10/10.

Tried their Salzbury and Apple Butter Burger. Felt like the Salzbury had a ton of Soy Sauce - overall it was okay. As for the Apple Butter Burger, well, it was very creative I must say - but it was a bit too sweet. My suggestion would be to dial down the sweetness just a little. Loved the light and fluffy buns used for the burgers.

Its my first time here, and came by friends reference. I loved the burgers and impressed with their style of making a sandwich in a different manner and the meat is tender and juicy like i have never tasted this kind in whole SIX(Toronto). It is a must try for a burger lover.

My fries were perfect and the burger was impeccable! So nice to be able to enjoy a quality halal burger while traveling! Owner was behind the counter overseeing each order. Highly recommend!!!

Hands down some of the best hand-made burgers in Mississauga, let alone GTA. Been going there since they opened and they've never let me down. If you haven't had the experimental fries... don't wait!

Burgers are good but the portion of fries and poutine are not up to gourmet burger standards therefore value is weak. If that was improved I'd give 4 stars.

Stale fries and washroom was filthy! Best of all, cashier decides it's OK to do her work activity and make my food w.o washing her hands! Better to eat McDonalds - AVOID this place

Tonight my father and I went to On The Bun. I got the meatball sandwich and my father got the veal. The sandwiches were tremendous. One of the most delicious sandwiches I've ever had. Highly recommended to everyone. This joint does not disappoint at all!

My family absolutely loves this place! The food, the staff and the place is amazing!! Everything on the menu is worth drooling over!!

Food is fantastic. The apple butter burger amazing, fresh and full of flavour and taste. Have to remember to slow down when eating it because it is so good!

I googled "best burgers in Mississauga" and this place came up. I was not disappointed. Very friendly service, food is prepared right in front of you. I liked this place better than Five Guys.

The food is good but they need an in depth lesson on hygiene. The girl behind the counter was handling raw meat wearing a glove only on one hand. She then removed her one glove and took our order and pressed the buttons on the dirty looking cash register and handled the cash. She then proceeded to go back to handling the food without washing her hands. Disgusting! Your food can taste amazing but if you can't even display the basics of hygiene you lose my vote!

All the burgers we tried were amazing. Apple Butter Burgers and Masala Fries are highly recommended.

Absolutely the best burger in GTA and best halal burger I have had in north America. My favourite is Apple Butter Masala stack double petty burger. love the masala fries but add a bit of salt to them. Overall great halal food.

I have been there few times and ordered different variety of buns, the one which I like most is Grill chicken Bun. Customer services are nice and feel noiseless environment. <br/><br/>Only cash payment option is very vague thing, which I still unable to know. Why?

I went this location first time last time at 9.15p.m, as I enter the door, it said close 10p.m, but as I entered in the restaurant,  a lady told us that we are close. I mentioned her that your sign said closing time is 10 p.m, which she replied that that wss Ramadan timing. So disappointing, as I drove all the way from Oakville with my family. Meh. Food is average, at best, and certainly doesn't deserve the high ranking this place has here. Had the apple butter burger & poutine. The fries were clearly previously frozen and mass-manufactured and the cheese was mass-made shredded mozzarella (with that corn starch on it to stop the shreds from sticking together during storage). The burger was totally overpowered by the bbq sauce and could only taste bun (of which there was lots). Patty was very thin and had no taste that I could find. Nothing special - definitely won't go again.

Masala Burger. I was looking for something close by my work and came across this burger joint. When I entered it was empty and the cashiers/cooks were having lunch at 2pm in a booth. I ordered a masala burger and a poutine. Burger was soft and juicy but the bun I feel was too big or too much bread for the burger, the balance was off. Either the bun needs to be smaller or the meat needs to be more. The poutine was very cheesy. Good for when you are in the mood for something greasy and fatty.

Good food. Meat was cooked well, buns were fresh and the poutine was delicious. Defenitly recomended!!

Amazing owner and great food!. I absolutely love this place! My friend and I hav a tradition of literally coming here every Friday. The food is fresh, delicious and reasonably priced. The owner is terrific and I always get great service! My suggestion: try a double patty of apple butter and masala burger with masala fries!

Yikes!!. We went in last night.. With a few friends... And ordered various food items... It took half an hour for some of their orders to arrive, alot of people who came after us got their orders, they lost one of our receipts and we're extremely rude... The owner wasn't there but, we were expecting much more in terms of taste and it being one of the top halal burger places.. Paying 12.86$ for a combo we could have made at home... The burgers were sadly cold... I can understand why people would come back since the meat and buns aren't generic tastes... The burger itself wasn't very filling, since the patties we received were really thin... customer service was horrible and sadly, we all won't come back... The small staff was either new or very flustered, and their seemed to be poor teamwork between the staff.... They were rude when we politely asked them about our food after we finally sat down and gave up when other customers kept getting their food. I worked in fast food for 5 years, the staff needs to stay calm and communicate with one another, the cashier and cook were grunting and repeatedly shaking their heads, and giving orders to one another...It doesn't make it look like you have it together or are trained to work when it's busy... 30 minutes for one kabob burger is ridiculous... I'm sorry! Hope you guys have better nights or more staff on board if it's so stressful.

Just excellent!. We had heard about this little place and so decided to check it out. The kids were not really in the mood for a burger (!!?) I must say that the decor / lighting could do with a little help, but all the same, we were all so glad that we did!! The burgers are simply excellent. Juicy, tasty, not too salty. Perfect! My husband and I tried the Salisbury and Apple Butter Burger - we were not disappointed, the sauce was so delicious. All the kids devoured their cheeseburgers - so we knew it was great! The great part was that even though it is a substantial sized burger, we were not left feeling heavy or greasy afterwards, like some other burger joints. Keep up the good work!

Delicious. Picked this place from google cause of the ratings. Took the GF and she did not want to go inside due to poor decor and dim lighting. With some convincing we went in and tried 3 dishes one after the next because we thought it wont taste good. We were amazed how good the burgers were. Definitely a must to all carnivores. GO go go and keep up the delicious burgers guys.

Amazing gem of a place. I have known about the place and for a long time and have been coming here since it opened. I have tried each burger and the quality is still unmatched. The owner-manager is an awesome person, always gracious and friendly. I have yet to go wrong with anything on the menu. Great, rare place.

MASLA BARGER. IS THE BEST

By far the best Halal burgers in GTA. I ordered the Apple butter burger and masala burger. Both were above my expectations as i heard very good things about the place. Masala fries were awesome as well. I will give this place 10 out of 10. Will come back for sure.

I am writing this but haven't even received my food yet. It's Sunday and I have been here an hour waiting for 2 burgers and poutines. There was one family in front of us when we ordered. I am not lying got here at 2:20pm, it's now 3:30pm and no food yet

So i'm eating this butter apple burger and i'm thinking to myself "holy nud-nickers, this IS a tasty burger!" Sweet n' salty all over, moist in all the right places and oh sweet Jesus that sawce was OFF DA CHAIN BOIII!!! Anyways needles to say the burgers were awesome. I'd go G Khan style on a small village for some of those funny fries!! 10/10 would dine again, and again and again.

Great fresh take on burgers, hand made FRESH patties, buns toasted, crispy fries with unique burgers. Had a talk with the owner great guy definitely will make this My lunch spot in Mississauga! Masala burger and masala fries are excellent, if you're in Mississauga it's worth a try

Good burgers. Heard about the place from coworkers and stopped in. Burgers are cooked fresh and from good beef, fries are nice skin on spuds. The owners a nice guy who really seems to enjoy what he does and knows his food. Went with the suggested toppings on my masala burger and it came out as a nice well balanced flavour without anything really overpowering another. Will be back again for sure

So we ordered grilled chicken, Marsala burger and apple butter burger combos. My apple butter burger was so good! And the Marsala fries were the best! He made the pattie fresh right on front of us and the fries and freshly cut! I would recommend this place to everyone for a good burger!

Great Burgers and Fries. I really liked this new burger joint. I had the Marsala fries - fresh cut and well dusted with Indian spice, served with mayo on the side which paired nicely. Spoke to the owner, he explained that they make their patties in house from fresh ground beef sourced from a butcher using beef from a local cattle farmer. Patty was just the right diameter to get beef in every bite. Bun was toasted, toppings were fresh cut and crisp. Burger, fries and a canned soda combo for under $10 - good value for a superior product.

Amazing Fries!. The burgers are good... The fries are amazing!

...Masala Burger consists of cheese, lettuce, onions, mayo, crispy onions and hot sauce. The first thing we noticed is the bun is very soft and fresh. It is not your run of the mill grocery store bun. A couple of bites and we could taste the masala flavour in the patty. The masala flavour was not overpowering but it added a kick to the burger, which we enjoyed. Everything about the patty and its seasoning was in perfect harmony. It was delicious, period!

[It's] a solid burger. It’s nothing I’d go crazy over, but you could certainly do worse.
