Review Denny's - Mississauga

Service: Monday morning, not too busy, still service very slow. Ordered brown toast -got white. Coffee was cold. Even the second one that was claimed to be a “fresh pot”. After food was finished no one was bothered to pick up the plates. Cleanliness: place is NOT CLEAN. At the times when this should be the priority, cleaning and disinfection is not something this place cares for. Robotic server delivers food to the table. One glance to the trays - you would loose the appetite for sure. How hard is to wipe those trays clean???? Smudges are everywhere - panels beside tables, plastic dividers showing hand marks. Our table had ketchup spills that I did not notice on time - got it on my phone and sleeves 😣 Food: hush-brown was awful, cold, and tasted as a sausage that I did not order. … all this for the breakfast price for two - at $52.68. Not going back!!!!

The food is fine but they don’t have waiters. I am so surprised and shocked to see they have so many people waiting in lines to be seated. I had to wait 15 minutes to be seated because there was just one server. Then I had to wait another 20 minutes to place my order and 20-more than that to get my food. I have never had this kind if experience before. If you know the place works please hire more people

Occasional visitor to Denny’s. The place strikes me with their extra friendly and fast service. Our server gave us great suggestions. Tables and the atmosphere is very clean even though this location is always packed. As for food, Food is amazing just like any Denny’s location. Especially their morning crepes, wedges and hashbrowns. I wouldn’t recommend the steak, It was a little too greasy. But besides that everything is perfect.

The food was very filling for the price. My friends and I enjoyed it. They even have a little robot that carries the food to your table. It was really neat. The server that we had was very kind.

Very outstanding choice of breakfast. We love love the vegetarian omelette 🍳 Their customer service is outstanding too. We love having our breakfast here. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a good spot for breakfast.

Exceptional service and yummy food. We went on Pancake day and had unlimited pancakes. They have a cute robot which serves your order as well.

They have a robot cat bring you breakfast. The food was good but who cares. . . there is a robot cat that brings you breakfast! This needs to be the advertisement strategy for the whole company. Also did I mention there’s a robot cat!?!?!?!?

The food is very basic. The staff is pretty amicable but it's worth the drive just to see the future of waiting in action with their robot that brings your food to the table! That was pretty interesting to see and a first for me!

I'm very sorry but I've been coming here for years having been served by many waitressss and waiters alike never had a problem until this morning I walked in at 5:18 am and I was seated nicely and the waitress by the name of Shirley whom has already served me was very nice I ordered and orange juice and then she convinced me to take 4 eggs and sausage with white toast ..... So I got my orange juice quickly and I waited and waited and waited for my plate of which I kindly asked another waitress what's happening with my order as I was pressed for time cause I work at 6:15 am . The waitress kindly came back right away and she's like one minute I'm like I don't have much time the plate then arrived after one minute or so ..... I asked for my eggs over easy and sausage regular with white toast I got my plate the sausages were so cooked you couldn't bite them and I Wouldn't feed them to a dog and the eggs were practically burned and the yolk was way over cooked they seemed to be eggs you keep on a flat top 10 minutes too much totally unedible ..... I was looking forward to my first meal of the day and in the end all i got was to drink half an organge juice and I agreed to pay for it and they made me pay for it as well 3.98 taxes in and I have 2.00 tip To the waitress who served me I'm very disappointed With the service and I can even say disgusted because the food I received was terrible looking and not edible as well .... There were three staff me never son the kitchen I've worked in the restaurant business many many years and I know how things work and when you are 3 in a kitchen and you can't serve 35 people in.a dining room that's very sad I'm not gonna refer your restaurant anymore and I want a full refund for what I spend there today .... Please get back to me as I will escalate this issue to Te head office as well

Worst experience. Ordered an omlette with no bacon. They ignored it and put bacon in my egg. Asked them to remake the egg without bacon, it gets served with bacon again. Asked them again to remake the egg without bacon, and... yep there's still bacon in the egg. For the third time, asked them again to remake the egg without bacon, and and low and behold, there's bacon yet again. Horrendous service by the manager to play down the issue. But wait, there's more... Asked for a pitcher of water 3 times, they ignored our request. Asked for a refill of lemonade drink 2 times, and they didn't bother. By far the worst experience, this has ruined my Dennys experience overall. Will never be going to any location, let alone this spot.

I always enjoy going to Denny's, the food has never disappoint me. The only problem I feel the place could be cleaner. The blinds and the lamp shades were extremely dusty or should I say dirty, the floor was unpealing and in need of some TLC. Overall the place is in need of real TLC

I was there yesterday for breakfast and I was not happy at all. Too long to take our order and the coffee was cold. I had to ask the waiter twice if I can get some cream for the coffee. My son ordered pancakes and he didn't eat at all it was not fresh. My eggs were not good at all and I was very disappointed. We always come here for breakfast and this time the service was very disappointing. Can do much better then this. The 1 in Brampton is worst that's why we come here and I would have to say yesterday their was no diffrence in both locations.

Denny's is a very popular restaurant so it's best to know to avoid peak times. It's only my second visit there and this time I brought my parents for a gargantuan breakfast treat. Always been taking them to Cora's, but thought to change the scenery a bit. Denny's did not disappoint. The breakfasts were big servings, fresh, and filling! I'm sure my parents will be dreaming of coming back. The waiter was prompt and courteous. It was a Saturday at 8:30 a.m.so there was hardly a crowd. Again you have to plan ahead. Great value. The place needs some updating - -some of their seats need replacing. But that did not take away from our breakfast experience.

I went with my family for breakfast on 1st Jan, 2017 at around 10:00 AM. When we reached at the restaurant, we were told to wait as they were cleaning some tables. So after 5 mins of wait, the hostess took us to a table and server came. She was not friendly but not even rude no smile no greeting etc., she took our order and left. Food was brought after 5 - 10 mins. The food was good and this time we were greeted 'Happy New Year' by the server who'd brought our food (a different lady than the one who had taken our order). Once we requested to get the check, we were brought with the bill and POS terminal by the same waitress who'd taken our order. She kept the machine and bill on our table and left. I did the transaction and left as she wasn't around so I asked another waitress to take the machine back. As so many have mentioned, their food is okay, however customer service is lousy. I will not go to this place anytime soon.

We arrived at the end of the lunch hour and many of the tables were in need of busing and the floors were a mess. I realize this is a busy time but they really seemed overwhelmed. However, once we got a waitress service was prompt and food was good and hot. Just a bad first impression

Good breakfast ..greasy..what we had in mind..but $6..for 2 teas..no refills..ridiculous. .I could have gone to Starbucks. Better tea .free refills..n costs less n breakfast would cost less .Dennys was also dirty..very messy!

Service at this location is terrible. Seen my server once the whole time i was there and took 15 mins just to get my bill. This was a Friday afternoon and it wasnt to busy

Why are you guys open 24/7 if you don't have staff to run the place!!! I came in at 1:30 am on Saturday night and there was a 25 minute wait for a table!! Seriously! !! That's not how run a business. ...so disgusted

Slow service. Cold food. Was not impressed and the fact that the family sitting next to us got their food before ours (they came in 20mins later) just made matters worse. This used to be "the good Dennys", not any more.

The food was amazing but the waitress was miserable and gave us poor service. Waiting 15 minutes if not more after the table was cleared for our bills and another 10-15 minutes after that to come back with the debit machine. Never smiled or came back to check on us while eating. After we paid she threw our receipts on the table and walked off without saying a word. Rude service but great food

Yesterday I went with my wife to have breakfast at arround 10 Am . Lousy service .The Server who took the order was not friendly to say the least. The food was cold and she brought the wrong order to my wife instead of scarmbled eggs, she bought her sunny side up . In short I would not go back again

We went during lunch hr. Pretty busy as expected. But they managed to check on us about 3 times in an hour. Was pretty good. Kinda felt rushed as well. But its good. Will go again

Good food. Small portions. Family restaurant but had a table with 6 people be hind our family. That were drinking lots of alcohol in the middle of the day. They were very loud. I told the waitress and also the manager. They were still loud<br/><br/>&nbsp;Ruined my lunch with my family and gave me a head ach that lasted for 2 hours after I left. Felt bad for the waitress she was doing her best. People Denny&#039;s is a family restaurant not a drinking spot and a place to yell and scream and get rowdy. I&#039;m sorry but I rate my experience a 2 star. And that only because the waitress and manager were trying their best to resolve the situation!

This morning I visited the Courtney Park location for brunch. I have not visited a Denny's in over a year, and I was looking forward to eating there. Unfortunately, the service I received was by far the worst I have ever experienced in a very long time. To begin, we had to wait over five minutes to be greeted and offered drinks. We ordered at the same time that we asked for our drinks. We then waited over half an hour for our food, despite seeing customers who arrived after us receiving their food before us. We had to ASK about our meal, and then as if by magic, our food appeared. Not shockingly, as our food had probably been sitting there for as long as we had been waiting, it was not hot, and was barely warm. We flagged down our waitress to tell her, and she proceeded to deny that the food had obviously been sitting there - it couldn't have been that we ask about our delayed meal and ALL OF A SUDDEN, it's ready. Ten minutes later (which is how long we should have initially been waiting), our food arrives. One of our meals was wrong (had sausages when we asked for just bacon) but at this point, we were so hungry, so we carried on eating. We were presented with our bill, to which we were shocked that we were even being provided with one after having been at the restaurant for an hour and a half because of delays, cold food and poor service. The waitress shrugged off our question about whether food would be comped at all. We reluctantly paid. It was a disastrous experience and I'm appalled at having to have paid for what we received.

Client meeting , got in with wait for 20 mins but talked to the girl and she let us in early . <br/>Ordered veggie skillet with egg . Was good but could have been better with some extra spices .<br/>Food was nicely cooked n prepared .<br/>Service was way too slow n told client about something he ordered they didnt had that after our food was on table

Worst place ever visited ! We visit Denny's in the US and they are so good but this store in Canada was disappointing !<br/>Tasteless steak with petite portions .<br/>Cheddar mashed potatoes were tasting of coconut . Horrible !!!<br/>Sirloin steak was horrible , I ordered medium rare ... I don't think the cooks are trained to make steaks at perfection , it's an art to grill steaks .<br/>Portion sizes were like kids meals with dried n dead veggies ! <br/>I am shocked !!!

Just got take out from kids menu (chocolate chip pancakes) but I asked them to substitute eggs for the sausage link and bacon since I'm vegetarian and the lady told me over the phone that I will get one egg but from the looks of it I got 2! The portion was so big and filling I can't believe it was literally only 4.00. I will return for many more days to come. Good service but side note; when I walked in to pick it up it smelled like B.O or onions >.

The food was overall amazing! Like I had tried the belgian waffle and french toast.. it was rlly good. Except the order was kinda slow... but overall great place!

Took 25 minutes to get food in a restaurant that was only half full. They do not know how to cook eggs over easy as my egg yolk came out solid.<br/><br/>Breakfast sausages were obviously old.<br/><br/>Didn't want to send food back and wait another 30 minutes.<br/><br/>Server was pleasant.

Went to Denny's for the second time -_- ( first time was garbage ) & again was disappointed & I'm not a complainer . Anything dirty rocks my pants but when I say the food was more like Burnt & dry cold nasty stuff mixed together . Horrible . Also paid 3$ for a side of toast that magically didint come with my meal o_O

Poor Quality and Overpriced. Visited the Courtneypark Drive location on Saturday (Nov. 10th) afternoon with my fiancée. We were seated at a table that had quite a bit of food spilled underneath it (which was quite disgusting.)<br/><br/>My fiancée ordered grilled cheese (which wasn't on the menu), and we were very disappointed when it was served. $10 for what it basically two pieces of inferior grocery store quality bread with some processed cheese and a slice of tomato in it. I would expect that sort of food to be served at an elementary school cafeteria for $4, not at Denny's for $10!<br/><br/>My order of pecan/banana pancakes weren't all that better. It was acceptably tasty, but far from being any good.<br/><br/>Our orders of apple and orange juice tasted like it was made from a frozen can; not something I would ever pay $3.50/glass for.<br/><br/>Tasteless, poor quality food that is terribly overpriced for what it is. Overall my experience was highly unsatisfactory.<br/><br/>It also didn't help that the in-store WiFi wasn't working.<br/><br/>One the upside however, we had a friendly server; albeit a bit slow (can be excused seeing as it was a busy afternoon.)<br/><br/>**UPDATE** (Feb 2013)<br/>Restaurant management followed up promptly after I wrote customer service a note of my dissatisfaction. Happy about their solid commitment to good customer service; doesn't change the fact that the food and prices were disappointing. I will try them one more time however.

Lovely atmosphere. I like going to Denny's for a greasy food fix, and free refills. The atmosphere is always nice there, the servers are always very very friendly. Their cheesy fries are really good, especially with ranch sauce. There is free wi-fi here and it's 24/7, so it's really easy to spend a rainy afternoon =) They have a good selection of healthier foods, but if you're going to go, go for the breakfast! Best bacon, sausage, eggs. I like the flavoured cappuccino, with an American grand slam. The prices are great too, in my opinion, you do get food for your money (if that makes sense?)

Good Food! Not Too Bad Service.... We decided to visit Denny's for a brunch on a Sunday morning. It was definitely busy. Servers were running around and the kitchen was yelling out orders that you could hear from the front door. We were seated within two minutes which was good. We ordered our drinks which came promptly, free refills on hot chocolate was definitely a bonus! We then ordered our meals. They came within ten minutes which I would say is pretty quick considering how busy it was. The pancake puppies were delicious! They had a side of cream cheese and syrup, oh boy, what a treat! The hammy sandwich was good, but I didn't like the hash browns, they looked like they were shredded, they tasted awful. The grand slam came with tons of food; two slices of toast, eggs, pancakes, and yet again, the shredded hash browns. Too bad they didn''t have the regular hash browns, I would have enjoyed my meal better if they did. Our server was okay, she was busy and wasn't too attentive. I would definitely visit this location again.

Egg-Delicious. This location has been a Denny's twice now. The first rendition was a gastly green colour. The second rendition is decorated with warmer colours and spacious seating. I visitied the bathroom and it was sadly cared for. The trash was full and spilling out onto the ground and the sinks were a mess; unacceptable. There was a line up when we arrived but we were seated quickly. Service was quick as well. We tried the Avocado & Egg Burrito wrap and the Grand Slamwich (That's right, a grand slam break fast all put together into a sandwich), both were a hit. Delicious! We also tried the Georgia Peach french toast, it was good. The accompanying hashbrowns were a little on the burnt side for my tastes. Their menu has loads of options, so I think I'll be back... for the food.

24hr restaurant. Ever reliable when everything closed.<br/><br/>The service is great; but food wise.. so so..

Lousy staff. Waited 10 minutes at the door when the place was practically deserted, and watched several young people on the staff horse around near the kitchen and completely ignore us. They knew we were there, and simply didn't care since none of them were apparently the "hostess". Pathetic. We left.

Greasy but it serves its purpose. Sure, it's greasy. it's Denny's. What else would you expect?<br/><br/>It serves its purpose and is a 24 hour place to get a breakfast, so I personally don't complain.. Portions have gotten smaller over the years though, thats for sure.

Overall it's your standard American style breakfast. The waiter brought us the wrong juice but at least they didn't charge us for the fries. Service is not very good but seating was fairly quick.
