I stopped by Charlie’s while out in Mississauga. I got the lunch special jerk chicken for about 9 bucks with tax. It came with rice and peas and a bit of coleslaw. I saw a couple of reviews that said the chicken was undercooked so obviously I looked out for that. What I got was at a minimum yesterda
I had fried plantains & the Jamaican escovitch fish rice with pickled vegetables. Was good & food portions were awesome, price is very reasonable. Definitely going back.
we use to go to Charlies often prior to the pandemic. Food was always great. This weekend we ordered 2 large orders to go of ox and rice and curry chicken. Spent over $40 but we were disappointed. Prices are higher food portions smaller and it was dry. I like this place and hope that it does go
We ordered several large trays of food from Charlie’s for a family party! The food was excellent, the service was excellent…they had everything ready to go on time and packed up. The pepper shrimp was a huge hit. Will for sure order from here again.
Food always delicious. Excellent portion size. No complaints ever. I live in London now and every time I am in Mississauga Charlie's is a must. 👌🏿👊🏿 Check them out. You are welcome!!!
Bought 2 beef soup today also an order of blackpudding. The soup had no taste whatsoever. Absolutely no salt nor any meat. All i got was a big chunk of bone in it. The provision are all hard and undercooked. The blackpudding is very few pieces with a tiny amount of pepper sauce in it. Not wor
I got the curried goat with coleslaw and a side of rice and gravy. I was so shocked that the food had no taste. The goat was moist and juicy but there was noooo flavour. Not even the rice was salted yaaaaaaw. Why was I under the impression that Charlie’s was good. They are not seeing my money again.
Went here today round 5pm to buy some dalpourie, thyme, scallions, salt beef and some curry. I was planning on Cookin some stew peas. Walking out I could smell the food cookin next door at Charlie's restaurant. Ordered up a goat dinner and chicken roti. As a chef that trained under a Jamaican chef,
