This is my sixth trip to Canada.
Having a nice lunch at Captain Robin's was great.
The fish and chips was delicious better than the fish and chips I get back home in Australia and the portions are generous.
Also the poutine was delicious and the gravy is made from beef and cooked for a long period of time this is my first time trying Poutine. Love the gravy.
The Canadian is fabulous.
I must say the service is fantastic and the girl who served us was amazing and friendly. Hats of to you.
Awesome foods and ambience across from the Marina !
The portions are huge !
Would recommend
I love this place. Great food, huge portions and exceptional service. What's not to love. Will not go anywhere else for breakfast in Port Credit.
Excellent service. Huge portions. Very reasonably priced. Coffee could've been a bit better but everything else was amazing!
Not bad. I'm usually a bit wary of trying places that are under 4.0-4.1 but this turned out to be a pleasant surprise. As long as you order something they're good at and have made tens of thousands of times - you'll be fine. I ordered the Captain Robin Breakfast. Nothing fancy, eggs bacon and hashbrowns with some toast. It was good enough. Very filling and plentiful for the money.
We went to this restaurant under the recommendations of some friends and very glad we went. As far as the building itself, it's nothing fancy...But 3 Stooges is not about the atmosphere, it's about the food. My wife had eggs Benedict, I ordered the Country skillet and for our 2 year old we got a kids breakfast. When our meals arrived we were all stunned by the portion sizes. Imagine truck stop sized portions made in a country kitchen to be eaten by hungry oil field workers...absolutely huge. The hashbrowns are obviously home made. You can tell the way the potatoes were shredded (as if on a box grater) and hand chopped onion was added in when it was being cooked to perfection. My 2 year olds "kids" menu meal was the size of an adults breakfast anywhere else. Overall we're impressed. The only reason I didn't give it 5 out of 5 is because it's a little pricey, but you definitely get what you pay for...and you will definitely have enough to take away with you after your finished. My only other comment is that the staff could be a little more friendly and maybe smile more... It was as if they had been yelled at by someone. Maybe we caught them on an off day. But the food is excellent.
They have a nice small patio that looks out to the boats. Inside they do have a/c and a few posters of The 3 Stooges. The servers are fast but they don't seem that friendly. Our food took awhile but gosh their portions are huge! I ordered the Chicken Parm and my bf got the Fish & Chips. The taste wasn't bad (just too much sauce) and the price point seemed fair especially for the gigantic chicken parm. The chicken pieces was a little burnt on the edges. It seemed like my dish could feed 3 people. My bf had 2 big halibut pieces with fries and coleslaw. The fries were overdone. They give you a big bowl of gravy but there was no taste. The only thing that bothered me was that the server couldn't give me a bag for my leftovers because they needed to save them for take out orders.
Great family shop with very healthy portions.. I visit this place just a bit ago and was super impressed by this restaurant. It was amazing in every way. The servers where friendly, warm and kind. The food was excellent and the portions where very healthy. Could feed you for 2 meals. I had the pork schnitzel and it was some of the best I have ever had. If you are in the area drop by, you won't be disappointed.
I've been really curious about this place since I saw it open and decided to come here for breakfast rather than sunset grill across the street and wow am I glad I came here!! We were seated and immediately asked what we wanted to drink. I ordered tea and my boyfriend ordered coffee. A moment later a whole pot of brewed coffee and a pot of tea was on our table. I ordered Curly's Pancake special (2 pancakes, 2 large eggs, with bacon or ham or sausage and their famous hash browns.) My boyfriend got Mo's french toast special which is pretty much what I ordered replacing the pancakes.
I was in awe when I got my meal. It was HUGE! The hash browns were fantastic I now know why they are considered their famous hash browns. and I heard really good things about the pancakes and yes they were incredible! So fluffy and airy and probably the biggest 2 pancakes I've ever seen! I could only finish one but grabbed the other to go because it was so good I couldn't stand the thought of wasting it. Overall, a really, really good experience here. I was really happy with my breakfast and it really exceeded my expectations. Definitely coming back here when I'm craving a big delicious breakfast.
